Amazing car with great features.
I love the heated seats and steering wheel. Also has automatic seats. Very comfortable and reliable. Has a sunroof. Automatic windows and windshield wipers. Love the color. Handles well in the elements. Has an automatic hatch and auto start which is nice in the winter.

Loaded with all the extras.
Navigation features are very accurate. Hands free phone service. Comfort with heated and cooled seating throughout vehicle. Climate controlled. Theatre quality speaker system. Leather seats with five way adjustments. Rear seats fold down for added cargo space at just under six foot.

I love that I can change the color in the interior lighting.
I adore my car. I am so glad to have the AWD in the winter. I do have some things that I do not like about my vehicle, but as a whole, it is my favorite car. I love that I can put the seats down and have my dogs in the back, I love the AWD, and the size. I feel very safe in this car and will not hesitate to buy another Lincoln in the future. I did get a small rust stain on the side of the vehicle which I really do not like the look of. I was able to remove the rust but I worry that it will return and have trouble with it in the future. I was disappointed with the gas mileage, but buying an SUV I should have expected the lowered gas mileage.

Love my mkx, comfort to the max.
We have had 2 mix, and have loved them both I will. Buy another one for sure, they drive so smooth. My husband is a big guy and he is comfortable getting in and out of the mix. I had a Lexus and he hated to drive it sincere had such a hard time getting in and out of it.

My Lincoln is a limited luxury edition.
Overall the vehicle runs very well. The heater and ac are reliable and change temperature faster than my previous vehicles. When driving on the interstate and I need to pass someone, it takes a minute for the gas to increase speed. This is not necessarily a problem but it does make it nerve-wrecking if it does not accelerate fast enough. It definitely one of the best vehicles I have driven.

My vehicle is comfortable, reliable and easy to maintain
I like that my vehicle is reliable, easy to maintain, looks nice and is comfortable while seated. I wish it had a button in rear at hatchback to unlock the car doors

Not a mom/pop looking style vehicle.Not a plain Jane/average looking vehicle.
Great styling, good handling, very good power.Reliable, decent gas mileage. Ford doesn't mandatory Dealership to give every customer trade-in value equal to or better than Lexus,Acura similar model's.

A car of comfort. Never had a car that felt like a glove.
The reverse camera would crash on me, carpeting was loose along the tramlines at the driver and shotgun, s floorboards. Stock rims where chrome plated and would peel after time. Headlight cover aged to fast (get cloudy). Seal on front windshield wasn't secured and had to be registered..

Not many issues but the few problems I ran into were major.
My car no longer fits my recently growing family and no longer able to fit everyone in the vehicle wishing to have three rows of seats to resolve my current issue. Other than that I ran into a issue with the back up sensor causing the wheels to lock making it undriveable due to it not allowing car to move or drive. It was a lengthy period of time to find cause of problem and to find the cheapest way to repair which was a very pricey fix unfortunately.

This woud be a score of a used vehicle......
Folks panned this model as an overpriced Ford Edge - but the details and extras made it much more than that. 1st year of model refresh & new 3.7L V6 with the loaded Limited AWD model - Amazingly reliable with routine maintenance so far - after 190K still drives nearly as well and comfortably as the first 1K. Made dealership correct early known Lincoln SYNC issues with this model before accepted delivery - and never had the problems that plagued earlier buyers. Big secret they did not tell you was that these SUVs came with stainless steel exhaust systems and that the added towing package makes it essentially a light truck. For used car buyers known issues are 1) the halogen follow headlight system - To replace bulb & ballast is a simple DIY repair (if you are not shy to take off full front body/bumper panel as per YouTube vids). Otherwise Ford will force you to shell out $$$$ per side for the entire light assembly replacement just to change the bulb. 2) The car is essentially always 'on' with its version of the alarm system. The battery can prematurely drain down if not driven regularly - the battery is the most replaced item on my vehicle aside from oil and filters. 3) The 3.5 - 3.7 V6's have been targeted by some as a failure waiting to happen due to the placement and functionality of the water pump within the engine block. I know of no one who experienced this but just be aware. Otherwise Ford hit a home run with this model in my eyes.....

Pros from Owners

likeFilled Manou C.

It has a movie player inside, as well as charging ports and a CD player. The seats are extremely comfortable, and one can lean back all of them. One can put down two seats or one, and have more room in the trunk of the car.

likeFilled Poppy M.

It has all the bells and whistles. It practically drives itself. Its metallic black with black leather interior and 2 sunroofs and has gear shift stick instead of push button gears. The exterior is really good looking. There is zebra wood paneling on front and sides. Very sophisticated. Tasteful.

Cons from Owners

dislikeFilled Manou C.

It is large, which means that city parking is harder to find than one would hope. Sometimes turns are sharper. It is much harder to control than a Kia, for example, another much smaller car. The CD player in our car malfunctions.

dislikeFilled Poppy M.

Not good on gas mileage. Sometimes the fob will without touching raise the hatchback. Black leather seats get hot especially with sunroof open. I always keep the sunroof open. It has stuff that I have never used because I do not know how. Lots of computerized stuff.
