Great family car for safety, reliability and comfort.
Great car for its class very comfortable and economic. Had a few recalls but were fixed right away other than that very reliable and sturdy. I have had great mpg and is used on a daily basis, had a car hit me head on and the frame didn't move a bit. Only caused small cracks in bumper while other vehicle was all smashed in.

I owned a 2013 MKX AWD for 7 years and lived in a cold Canadian climate. Never had a problem with this vehicle. Regular maintenance is all it ever needed. Very reliable and a pleasure to drive. Lincoln did a great job with this SUV. Will miss my MKX!

A very dependable SUV for those wanting a final buy in a SUV.
This is a very dependable vehicle, it is roomy, smooth ride and quiet. I would highly recommend this vehicle to anyone. If you are looking for a SUV that can be the last one you buy, this would be a good one to buy. I have never had a car that I can actually say this is it.

Only use ethanol free fuel.
The heated and air conditioned seats are amazing. Haven't had any issues with it other than the moon roof opening slowly.

The Lincoln mkx is a very comfortable ride. The technology in this vehicle is right at your fingertips making it easy and more safe to do various tasks such as make/accept a phone call, adjusting the climate in the vehicle, and changing from radio to Bluetooth stereo. The back up camera and rear sensors are great to have!

The car is nice. It is a cherry red with a chrome grill and trimming.
My car has been having brake problems. I have to get a new caliber for my passenger side. Other than that the car runs smoothly. The inside is pretty plain compared to some others I have seen. It does not have a sunroof. I have heard others complain about the break system in those cars.

The PERFECT SUV! Whether you're single or married, perf
The Lincoln MKX has been super reliable. It's gone through feet of snow with no issues. It hauled a uhaul trailer across the United States with no problem at all. I would definitely buy another SUV from Lincoln. I've had this vehicle for a few years now and I've done typical car maintenance. I've changed the brakes, battery and windshield wipers. The vehicle is incredibly comfortable and the ride is super smoothie.

Love this car!
I bought this car used in 2016 for $20,000. It's got about 160,000 miles on it, and still looks and drives great. So smooth and luxurious. No repairs except for regular maintenance. A few negatives: This car has some bad blind spots. I got honked at (justifiably) several times till I got used to driving it. Others who have driven it have commented on it as well. The weird turn signal also takes a bit to get used to, but I don't even notice it now. For several years I've gotten an error to check the fuel fill inlet. That's the capless gas tank. I've had it emissions checked and there's nothing wrong with it, and it's a few hundred dollars to replace. I have to clean it and lubricate it well and have the codes reset in order for it to pass inspection. A couple months later the error is back. The issues are minor, I am very glad of my purchase and would do it all over again. It's been a great car!

Lincoln MKX luxury and dependable.
The performance is high quality have never had any engine or transmission problems. It has 116000 miles and other than maintenance there have been no issues. All seats are heated which is amazing. There is an issue with the screen it will sometimes shut off for no reason to do a Lincoln sync which is frustrating if you are backing up or listening to the radio. Overall the car is the best I have ever driven and I would buy another Lincoln in the future.

Excellent ride, smooth. Quick acceleration which comes in handy in an emergency. Back seats fold down so you can use the area for cargo space. The headrests are removable, and although we removed them just to increase vision area, they can be removed in an emergency to break a window (they have metal rods holding them to the seat). It can be started from inside the house and is equipped with Ford Sync.

Very few. We have Ford Sync but no backup camera and a camera would be helpful. There is a warning 'beep' when you are backing up and are within an unsafe distance from another object. It is often annoying. We had a problem with it beeping with nothing there and found that the sensor had dirt on it. Once cleaned it worked again, but still can be annoying.

How Reliable Is The 2013 Lincoln MKX?

Once they needed to repair the brake system, but everything was covered by the extended warranty. No other services required except for normal maintenance.

Yes it is reliable. It requires an up to date navigation card. Currently my backup camera is upside down for unknown reasons but that is the only complaint.

Yes it was a great value for the price. We included additional warranty to have extended warranty once the manufacturing warranty expires. No problems when brought to device.

I bought mine used for 13000. It was a good value for the features it comes with. Lincoln is good at keeping ahead of the game as far as technology and upgraded features even on base models.
