Family car that helps make traveling easier and gives us more reason to travel.
Amazing ride, comfortable for adults to sit in the second row and the third row easily changes from seating to cargo space. Back door makes things easier; I can put my kids in and load the car without unlocking the whole car. I know my kids are safe and can Focus on loading up my car, so I can get done faster and get my kids buckled in for our next adventure.

It is very reliable we have not had to do much maintenance.
I like the size. I like the reliability. I dislike how much gas it takes. I like that it can tow a lot.

It has plenty of room for hauling the grandkids around and enough storage space to boot.
It is a SVU with all the bells and whistles!! No dislikes and no complaints

It's been rated as one of the best safest vehicles on the road today
My navigator is very reliable and comfortable. It comfortably seats my family of four. It's accessories impress me, especially on road trips

Love, the back up camera as well as the third row seating and cargo storage.
Lots of electrical issues, the running boards work when they want to, the motors in the windows have gone out, the AC in the back clicks, and the DVD player went out. But for the engine, it has lasted a long time with little to no issue. I have high mileage and it's still running like a champ.

Very comfortable and great for driving kids with the captain's chairs and DVD player for the back seat. Not too many problems. Very reliable. Huge gas tank.
Room for everything and all the bells and whistles in the Navigator.

It is black with tan air conditioned seats.
Engine sputtering but still drives well, the car is comfortable it just needs some work. And repairing a Lincoln is pricey.

Great family car! Loaded with extra for the whole family.
Good size family car, easy to access third row, that fold all the way down for easy to fit things hauling. The v8 gives you plenty of get up and go without feeling like you have to put the pedal to the floor. Automatic running boards make it easy for little ones to get in and out on their own. The DVD and media set up is great quality and sound is impeccable. After 100, 000 miles did have a fuel injector go out but with mileage was not surprised.

Pros from Owners

likeFilled Jeorjianna F.

It has 3 rows of seats and a lot of room for the kids. Plus the 2 middle seats are separated so the my 2 youngest do not fight. And the oldest can get in the back and lay down or do whatever. Plus it has lots of power which my fiance loves.

likeFilled Candie B.

It is very spacious. Lots of legroom & enough room for all of the family. It's also very comfortable. There's room for the kids & groceries. We love the DVD players that are built in the back headrests too. I love the heated & ac in the seats!

likeFilled Fay S.

The pros to having my sports utility vehicle: it is a large vehicle and has adequate room, I have had it for a very long time, I can drive it on the highway, everyone loves it that I bring the vehicle by, it is very meaningful to me.

Cons from Owners

dislikeFilled Jeorjianna F.

Gas mileage is horrible. Especially when we're strapped on cash and can only put 2-3 dollars in the tank. When we drove our god day that would almost give us a quarter of a tank. I am the navigator it barely gets the gas hand off the red empty line.

dislikeFilled Candie B.

It is a gas hog. There are some issues with the transmission. The tires are very expensive to replace. I do not like the color very much. I wish it were newer. There are not many cons for it. It is a pretty good vehicle overall.

dislikeFilled Fay S.

The cons of my vehicle is that it is a gas guzzler. I am putting gas into the vehicle just about every week so that also puts a damper on my finances and I try not to go elsewhere besides work and home.

Yes I am a mother of soon to be 2, and I trust the safety of my family in this vehicle. I just wish it was 4 wheel drive for the winter. But we purchased this vehicle in Florida.

How Reliable Is The 2008 Lincoln Navigator?

Yes it is very reliable, never had any issues other than the radiator needs to be replaced at 200,000 miles. With regular upkeep and oil changes it should serve you well.
Jamie P.
Only problems we have incurred were easy electrical issues that were very affordable to fix on our own.
Fran H.

Is The 2008 Lincoln Navigator A Good Value?

A used vehicle could be anywhere from 5 to 15k depending on mileage and wear and tear of the vehicle. It is a good value for what you get.
Jamie P.
Terrible resale value. I currently owe more than what it is worth. I wouldn't consider buying another Lincoln just because of the resale value. But we have a great warranty.
