2018 Mazda CX-3 Reviews

I have never had any issues with the vehicle. Going on my third year of owning it, nothing has ever broken. It runs so smoothly you will not even realize how quickly you are cruising on the highway. I have to make 3 hour drives back and forth to school very frequently and never have I once felt uncomfortable or sore after the car ride. The only thing that takes a while to get used to are the dials in between the driver and passenger seats that control the sound. It takes a while to get used to the placement since it is different than most cars. The heated steering wheel is one of the nicest features of the car and most definitely my favorite feature.

This vehicle has been my day to day car over the past 3 years. The 2018 Mazda cx-3 has impressed me more than I could have imagined. Everyday I get up at 5 a.M, make my breakfast, and head to work. It's extremely nice to have a car you can get into everyday and still feel excited about it. This car is the most smooth running car I have ever had, and not to mention how fast it is. I am telling you, this car is 5 out of 5 and deserves to be driven by more people. Mazda does a great job with their cars, and this is a prime example of a Mazda car.

I really like that it is very touchy with the accelerator. If you push it just a little bit the car will go very fast, but drive very smoothly! I also really like that the seats are very comfy. They provide enough support so that you feel comfortable while driving, but they never get super hard or uncomfortable, even on very long drives! Overall, it handles very well and I don't really have any complaints about it! The one problem it has is occasionally it will lurch forward on the highway all of the sudden and then make a "clunk" sound. I have taken it to multiple dealerships and auto shops and they haven't been able to fix the problem or even understand what the problem is. It sometimes gets so often it is terrifying to drive. I really like this car, so I may try to test drive another one and see if it has the same problem. If it does not, I'll buy that car instead as long as it runs better. It is most likely just a manufacturing problem. It is very reliable but this problem has become more and more frequent with the time I have had it. One thing that I especially like about the car is the amazing speaker system. I can drone out sounds around me without turning it up high. And I can turn it up high enough for me, but not high enough for the people outside my car in their own cars to hear the music. I couldn't do this with my last car, which was a 2010 Mazda 3, so I am very excited and happy that I can do it with this car! Overall I would definitely recommend this car to anyone and everyone, just be completely sure it has no manufacturing defects before buying the car!

This is my second experience with a Mazda vehicle, and I have had no complaints yet. My first Mazda was a Mazda 3, 2016 sport. My current is a Mazda cx3 2018 sport. This is my first time experiencing a crossover and I do much appreciate the extra room! I love mazda’s strong engines and the smoothness of driving. My car has a great maintenance program and notifies me exactly what I need to work on or when to have anything checked out for repairs. I would say my cx-3 is a luxury type vehicle for a more affordable price! They're low maintenance (aesthetic: if you are up on keeping the interior clean and exterior does not need washing much. Performance: if you maintain the simple needs of the car). Mazda does a pretty good job at making their cars look sharp. They often switch up their color ways of the interior. Mine specifically are black leather with maroon accents. Some other features include: music apps that are easy to install and connect to. A GPS (which needs a sim card). Heated seats. Rear windshield wipers. Safety features like skid control, alerts for cars when signaling, air bags. Etc.

I have a hatchback. It is a small car but has lots of zip. I have heated seats, side mirrors with lane cautions, and the usual automobile features. My car gets excellent mileage and drive well with ethanol based fuel. I believe the car is for smaller families. I am expecting my first grandchild and will probably trade up to a larger car for the increased interior space. But, I want to say again that the engine performance on my little Mazda is great. This little car cruises at higher speeds without strain. Great car.

Sou um fan do símbolo "Mazda", assim passo a descrever:- Sendo proprietário de um veículo MAZDA, mod. 5, há cerca de 13 anos, sem que contudo tenha tido problemas de maior, no dia 16/08/2018, por ter uma paixão pelo símbolo “MAZDA” , resolvi adquirir, um novo veículo da mesma marca, modelo cx3, ambos adquiridos, na NIPAUTO Faro, qual não é o meu espanto aquando percorridos cerca de 8000 km, o veículo teve de recolher à oficina da Nipauto, por problemas na suspensão dianteira, sendo que aos 9144 km, deu novamente entrada na mesma oficina, por ter acendido a luz respetiva de aviso de manutenção, depois de uma semana imobilizado na garagem a aguardar lugar na oficina. Uma vez na presença dos técnicos, fui informado que o problema se devia ao óleo saturado, por efetuar, viagens curtas na cidade e seria imperioso proceder à substituição do respetivo óleo, o que foi feito, facto que não corresponde à realidade, pois mais de 80 %, dos Km percorridos foram em viagens longas, nomeadamente Algarve/Lisboa, Algarve/Porto e vice-versa. No dia 01/08/2019, foi feita a manutenção correspondente ao ano de uso, quando este veículo havia apenas percorrido 12323 Km. No dia 30/06/2020, dado ter necessidade efetuar uma viagem longa, em virtude do óleo do cárter se apresentar próximo do seu máximo “X”, contactei a oficina, que coloquei ocorrente do que pretendia fazer, fui aconselhado levar o veículo novamente à oficina, uma vez ali, aquando a quilometragem era apenas de 18600 km, os técnicos, informaram que iam proceder a exames técnicos diretamente com a mazda, pois algo de anormal se passava com o veículo, uma vez que o este apenas havia percorrido 6277 km, tal situação, não era normal, em virtude do óleo em situação normal deveria percorrer cerca de 20000 Km, após exames ou não, fui informado que o veículo não apresentava qualquer problema e teria ser substituído o óleo, facto que não me opus. Por tudo o que descrevi conclui-se, que aos 18600, já foram efetuadas 3 mudanças de óleo, o que é absurdo, tanto mais que os Km, percorridos foram feitos em viagens longas. Depois desta situação e percorridos cerca de 3000 km, km estes percorridos em viagens de longo percurso e longa duração, verifico que o óleo novamente tem subido de forma galopante, estando-se a aproximar da letra "X", facto que é completamente estranho. Refiro ainda que até ao momento ainda que após esta exposição que enviei à marca, não tive nenhuma resposta, na resolução deste assunto. Nota: adoro conduzir o veiculo. I bought Mazda CX-3 in 2017 and since then I had just a headache. The doors won't open. I took the car to dealership 6 times, and the rear passenger door still won't open from inside. The trunk door will not open when the car is running. The tires gets low every 6 months. The service dept is not capable of repairing their own vehicle problem. Now it is of warranty and I am considering taking my Mazda to Hyundai service dept. My Hyundai is 2013 and never gave me so many problems. If there is any it is fixed from the first time by Hyundai dealer. I will not recommend Mazda.

Would not recommend Mazda CX-3. I bought it in 2017 and had only headache with it. The doors won't open. Took it to dealer 6 times, and still rear passenger door will not open from inside and hatch back won't open when the car is running. I need to turn it off to open it. The tires get low regularly. The service dept is incapable to fix any of these problems. Now it is of warranty and I consider taking Mazda to Huynday service department. My Huynday is 2013, and never had so many problems. The service dept can fix problems from the first time. I would rather buy a Huynday next time than Mazda that has no quality in it and lousy service dept.

I truly love this vehicle! It is not at all what we planned to buy but it was a great deal so we went for it. I wanted something a little larger but I still love this car. I have had it for four months now and the only complaint I have is that there is no middle console. I ordered an aftermarket one that was suppose to go with the cx-3 but it didn't fit. Other than that it is great! I love the navigation, heads up display, the interior, gas mileage, the easy-to-use fold down seats, and overall look!

My car is amazing, great on gas super comfortable, the back is super spacious, I love all the thought out placement of the buttons on the car, love putting my back seats all the way down for my two dogs, we live in the middle of nowhere so we have to make a drive for pretty much anything and this car gets us two and from with ease, I cannot say enough good things, the built in “Siri” is great as well, I love all the hands free things, easy to make a call or even texts, answer incoming calls it is all so easy with this car.

There is very little problems with the Mazda. The only problem that I have noticed is that the keys will die or not work as quick very quickly. I also had a problem where I my car wouldn't turn off and I had to do a weird maneuver in order to turn it off. Overall it is very reliable and safe to use. There is many safety features within it like the blind spot detector, the backup camera, and its ability to brake itself when it notices it is very close to a car. It is a very fun and comfortable car to drive. No problems with maneuvering for a novice driver. The wheel and brakes move at a good speed and work very well. Some of the features that are cool is where the speed of the car is placed where only the driver can see how fast the car is going.
