No problems! Very reliable vehicle! Performance is very good. Very comfortable. I am able to have 4 other people in the car. Seats fold down easily to haul things. Regular oil changes and maintenance and tire rotations. I have loved this car for short distance and long distance travels.

Good safety ratings and gas mileage
Love having a Mazda. It's been very reliable and drives well. Good gas mileage also. It's older so things are going out on it now like the power windows, that's a bummer and something that hasn't happened in a previous car we have owned.

Reliable car, but no four-wheel drive.
This car is nice for driving in normal conditions, however, it lacks four wheel drive which can be a real problem when it snows. Keep this in mind when purchasing this vehicle! I love the interior of the car and it provides enough space for transporting furniture. Overall, it is a comfortable, reliable car.

2012 Mazda cx-7, great car 8 years later!
This car is very spacious, great family car with plenty of room in hatchback trunk. Lots of space in between front and back row seats. The sound system is really good for the year of the car and it does come with an aux cord adapter. Overall it is still a very reliable car 8 years later.

The Mazda cx-7 is comfortable and will last a long time with proper maintenance.
I have had my cx-7 for the last 6 years. It was a rental before I purchased it. I have had 2 recalls on it and have replaced the air compressor. It runs beautifully and I have been on several long trips the longest being about 21 hours. I haven't had any major problems. The only problem I have right now is that the motor that allows the window to go down on the driver's side is out.

4 cylinder with a turbo!
There have been a lot of issues with the air conditioning system, but other than that this is a very strong vehicle. I love the heated seats, turbo and gas mileage as well as the functionality of using the hatchback. It is a very comfortable ride for me and my family, and I now since owning this vehicle know that Mazda makes a reliable product.

Great car until your first visit for tires or parts.
Good: great ride, good gas mileage, smooth ride, comfortable for the driver, sleek look. Bad: repair price is too high, headrest in front seats in very uncomfortable, leg room for back seat and back seats in general are terrible in a road trip. Tires, parts, repairs cost more than any car I have ever owned.

No complaints! Great vehicle! Would buy again!
It is reliable and gets me where I need to go. No performance issues. I have a base model, but it is still nice. Almost 200k miles on it and it is still going strong. No issues. I have never been stranded. I plan on keeping the vehicle for several more years as I do not see why not.

The issues with my vehicle.
Here is a list of issues I have with this vehicle: 1. The gas mileage is not that great. 2. When driving I often feel the car bouncing around or wobbly. 3. I have issues with blind spots and I do not feel like the backup camera is accurate. 4. The dashboard is extremely reflective in my windshield.

Best car my family ever owned !
We bought our CX-7 new in 2012 and other than some slight electrical issues (namely the power window motors, power locks, etc.) it has been rock solid reliable. It’s been in our family for 8 1/2 years and 133,000 miles and it a single issue came out of the power train. It’s the 2.5L non-turbocharged. It used to be my mothers but she gave it to me when I turned 16. Great car for teenagers, tons of cargo space, good gas mileage and an amazing stereo and speaker system !

It is compact, kind of reliable, but not our first choice.
The car belongs to my mom. She bought it for a good deal about a month ago, but she's already ran into a couple of problems. For one, the engine is really loud and the accelerator is very finicky and sensitive. These are problems that we cannot necessarily fix, so they've become a staple of the car.

Comfortable and good value.
I enjoy this car as it is comfortable yet sporty. I find the steering wheel to be easy to handle and is decently powerful. The interior feels comfortable and the seats are supportive. However, the back can feel slightly crowded. Overall, I have found the cx 7 to be reliable and have not had many issues.

Great car, no real problems.
This car, 2012 cx 7, is a great car. I bought it brand new and have almost no problems with it. I have put 164,871 miles on it and it is still running great. The only issue I have with it is that it is fairly difficult to change the headlights. They are hard to reach, so I just have it done in a shop.

The size of it and it is a quiet vehicle so the ride is good.
The car has been reliable but has had break work, ignition switch, wipers replaced, and other common things such as regular oil changes, transmission flushing. I was traveling and it stopped and I had to only replace the battery which was good. The check engine light came on about a month ago and it was slowing down but I was near a shop and found out it was something that had been recalled so they filled it at no charge and it took about a day for me to get it back but after that it was good. The size of this vehicle is perfect because I have to take my grandson places and he can have his friends in the car too.

I'd buy another one, seriously.
I love driving my Mazda. It runs smoothly and hasn't had any major issues. There were two recalls I believe, but I was promptly informed and got it fixed ASAP. The only negative is I feel it could be a little more spacious, otherwise it's perfect. I'd buy another one.

Great mileage, bad headlights.
I love the smooth ride for past eight years. It gets great highway mileage and the fill up is easy going. I do not like the headlights. This year model is very dim, and while on the road at night, it gets very dicey. The windshield wipers are not good even exchanged out. They could use better ones. If you keep up the regular schedule of services this vehicle will last a long time.

Great gas mileage, large room and beautiful color.
My Mazda car rides extremely well, is comfortable, beautiful and gets great miles to the gallon. Lots of room inside including an extra large hatchback. Also, Mazda is extremely helpful and easy in scheduling any service needed. I would definitely buy another one.

The car itself is very user-friendly; it's clear how to use all of the features in the car, and all the features make driving more convenient. It's comfortable, convenient, and it drives smoothly in all weather. I really like the controls on the steering wheel - being able to control the volume from the wheel is really helpful when listening to music in the car. I also love how fuel-efficient it is; it's great for long drives.

Mazda cx 7 2012 last generation.
Great compact SUV for New England. 4 cyl engine is good on gas. Handles well and has decent pickup. Drives smooth on highway. The car is comfortable inside and has enough room for larger than average passengers. Vehicle can be equipped with roof rack. The rear seats fold down as well.

The car is extremely comfortable and roomy. The seats are cloth which makes the heat bearable during the summers. There is an auxiliary cord connection, so you can play any music you want. The air conditioning works well and the windows are decently tinted.

Blackout, love the style.
The biggest problem I have with my car are my headlights every 5 or 6 months the bulbs burnout on either side which is very annoying. The dealership does not have a answer as to why this is happening, it is very costly to replace headlights. So my biggest problem are my headlights.

Easy and safe ride even for an SUV.
The Mazda cx 7 is very reliable. I bought it used but it still drives perfectly after 6 years. Every year I do a check up and usually tires get a little deflated. The sensors for blind spots are a little faulty especially with warm weather but that is the only real issue I had.

Great reliability and drivability.
The reliability and drivability have been great. I enjoy the heated seats but the visibility could be much better. Sometimes I have trouble seeing well out of the side mirrors. The seats are pretty comfortable and have good lumbar support. There is also a good amount of cargo space.

It has a camera where you can see the back and a navigation system.
The car is easy to drive but it's kind of high up. It has really good speakers and the gas lasts a long time before needing to be refilled. I just do not like the way it looks from the outside and wish it was smaller, but it has great safety features.

It is a good reliable car.
Overall it is been a good car, roomy, no mechanical problems. The price was decent. It has a decent ride for a mid car. It also withstood a relatively high speed impact where a texting driver ran into my side door at about 50 miles an hour - airbags deployed, no injuries.

Maintenance has been one of the biggest hassles.
I have had to pay a lot of money on maintenance on the car and even then the maintenance does not really help, the problem comes back again and my car sounds like I Does not want to start every time I start it. Maybe it is just too old and time for a new one but even random things such as my windows do not work. The buttons to let the windows down does not work.

Best car I have ever owned!
This has literally been the most reliable and hassle-free car I have ever owned. I do take care of it, regularly oil changes, etc. I have rarely had any issues at inspections, despite regular wear and tear on tires. It is unfortunate that Mazda no longer makes this model. The size, driving experience, and reliability have been phenomenal!

My car is pretty comfortable & reliable. The driver seat has multiple adjustment buttons to help find the right position for comfort. I always feel like it is a little cramped up front. I also wish there were vents in the back for more efficient air conditioning.

Gas saver, great looking vehicle and comfortable ride.
I like the Mazda cx-7’s gas mileage, I've really put a lot of miles on it and it still going strong. The comfort and stylish look really turns heads when I am on the road. It is a great family vehicle, for just driving around or going out of town. Road trips. I have had my vehicle for some time and the reliability is great. Mazda cx-7. Safety, comfort and speed. . .
The Mazda cx-7 has been a great vehicle all in all. It is comfortable and with leather seats, both driver and passenger side offer heated seating. Our 6 cylinder engine has a turbo drive which makes it a lot easier to get up and go. The rear camera is visible from nearly every seat, but especially the driver seat. Located on an approx. 4x5 inch screen in the center of the dash it has come in handy quite often. The camera eye is located on the hatchback.

Great Black Mazda CX-7 that Drives Well
I have no issues. I have sunroof, rear camera, Sirius radio, front wheel drive and Bluetooth. I have automatic seating, seat warmers. Car is black in and out and it an automatic. Performance has been great with no mechanical issues to date. It drives well with decent gas mileage.

Great on gas, great family car, great for long rides and or long trips.
The acceleration could be better. There's almost a delay in the acceleration. Otherwise the sound system is great(good bass and treble). It has all the bells and whistles id want except one thing which is the gps, didn't come with one built in the screen that i have.

An interesting detail of the car is the elevated seating.
The vehicle is very smooth riding and durable. I have had the car for many years and haven't experienced any major problems. The car is very low maintenance and comfortable riding. The car is also the perfect size and spacious. The only problem is that I wished it had an AUX cord or wireless phone option to connect your smartphone to the car and the car radio.

Mazda cx-7: nice family vehicle.
I love that my Mazda cx-7 has plenty of room and trunk space. It fits three car seats in the backseat, gets good gas mileage, drives well, and looks great. I have not had any major problems with it and I am reaching 140, 000 miles. The only complaints I have about my cx-7 is the air conditioning takes awhile to cool down the car in the summer months. I believe it is due to a smaller engine than other SUVs. Also there are not air vents in the back, which I would like to have since I have small children riding back there. The battery seems to need replacing more often as well. Overall, I really like my Mazda cx-7.

Great vehicle almost never has problems except some minor things.
Great vehicle the couple problems are having to remove a tire every time a headlight goes out to get to the light bulb without breaking it and the price for the original tires too much. Also, the gas cover tends to go bad and send an engine light making it annoying.

The cx-7 has poor air conditioning in my opinion and this particular model no longer made.
Size fits me well. Dislike that air conditioning does not cool down vehicle fast enough.

Good small size SUV, capable with decent mileage. Just don't change the headlight bulbs yourself.
It gets decent gas mileage. It rides well. It is comfortable. It is getting a little old so I would like an upgrade. It is a little small for an SUV, but it is large enough for my needs. My only complaint is the headlights are insanely hard to change the bulbs myself.

2012 cx-7 cancelled for all the right reasons.
Gas mileage is horrific. No power. Quality is low. I've tried high octane gas or boosters, expensive oil. Still unless straight freeway driving I only get 250 miles on a tank. Ac isn't cold, the traction control disables your car basically as soon as it slips.
