Best car for families to own, reliable and safe.
Very spacious! The car drives like it is on air. The Bluetooth is easy to connect. The car is quick to tell you if a car is close to your blind spot and a clear rear-view camera. The car requires no repairs needed, very dependable.Overall, you and your passengers can feel very safe in this car.

Amazing vehicle, quite, smooth, strong, roomy, and spacious.
I brought my car second which it was fine, but after couple of month we had issues with it. The car would completely die in the middle of driving, but would start right back up. So we decided to take it in and found out that the engine wasn't corresponding with each other and it was one of the downfall with these type of car. It was cheap to fix it but otherwise its a very nice car, love how smooth it drive, and love how much space you have.

My Mazda cx9 is a very great car.
Mazda cx-9 is a great car, the performance is very exceptional, it is a very reliable car and the comfort and features are amazing for a 2010, I would have never thought that anything under the year of 2012 would have such luxury, I am willing to buy another Mazda they really hold their value.

The safety standards are excellent.
I love the way my car handles. I also love the camera system. The third row is one of my favorite things and is a must for my family. The only issue is that the third row is hard to get to.

I've been driving this car for a long time with no major issues
I have never had any problems with my car. It did have a couple of recalls but they were taken care of quickly. It does seem to not handle bumpy roads well. But other then that I like it and would consider it for my next car. It has a lot of great features.

LOVE MY THIRD ROW FOR THE KIDS!!
I have had my Mazda CX-9 for about 5 years. I have never had a problem with it other than maintenance (breaks, oil changes, etc.) I have a ton of space for my kids. Having third row seating helps A TON! Gas mileage is also really great. I do a lot of driving and usually only have to fill up one a week! When it's time for a new car, I will definitely shop Mazda again

It is a 3 row SUV, and we all fit perfectly with luggage and everything.
It has been a really good SUV specially since is a family SUV we all fit perfectly I love it, we have not had any problems with it so far. My kids love it, they have plenty of space for themselves. And we love to make our kids happy. It does not spend a lot money on gas, we traveled to Chicago from Atlanta ga, and we only spent about 150 on gas.

Failure of power transfer unit
PTU failed at 95000 miles but Mazda CX-9s had a history of unreliability with PTU failures, conveniently after factory warranty expired. Mazda issued a recall (SSP92) but I failed to receive a recall notice so I am SOL. Again, the recall conveniently doesn't apply to my vehicle. Mazda has buried its head in the sand on this issue.

Nightmare on the road. Do not buy one unless you like constantly fixing it.
So far we have had to change the engine, water pump, starter, and brakes. We have problems with the back hatch opening and the front passenger seat not working and we have only had it for almost two years. It has been a total nightmare, because we never know what we are going to have to repair next.

In vehicle DVD player and third row seating makes family travel enjoyable.
Very few issues and not much maintenance needed. Good gas mileage and dependable brand. Car includes DVD player but is not reliable with in car radio feedback. Car is not sporty or attractive and looks more like a crossover with a minivan. Third row seating is great for large families and travel.

The Mazda cx-9 is not my favorite car.
The slant and shape of the windshield has bothered me since buying it, makes it hard to tell where you are on the road. I also hate all the extra buttons and features, feels like I am driving a spaceship. Also I am always having trouble with the battery draining.

A good first time family SUV.
2010 Mazda cx-9 drives well. Relatively comfortable and has great performance. It is unfortunately noisy with parts of the interior plastic finishes rattling over time. Both motors in the front driver side and passenger side windows went bad at the same time. Rear legroom is cramped.

Great performances and handles well.
The performance is great and it handles very well. The interior is spacious and comfortable. The storage capacity is also great. The issues I have had are hopefully just with my car and not all. I have had very expensive transmission troubles and my tires have never worn evenly.

It is a safe vehicle to drive, especially in winter.
I like how smooth it drives and how comfortable it is to drive. I like that it makes a sound if you are going to change lanes and hit someone and I like that it is all wheel drive. I hate the color and the third row is really small. The seats do not fold all the way down and it is hard to get into the third row.

Mazda cx 9- a great car for a family.
Sluggish but comfortable. Seats are very comfortable, gas mileage is ok but not great in city. Large enough for five person family. Jump seats in the trunk are great for extra passengers. No issues after 9 years except tire air always an issue. Overall great car.

Great vehicle! Reliable, spacious, no issues
I have owned my vehicle for 11 years and have had no issues! Besides a couple recalls. Super reliable, awesome Bose sound system, all the bells and whistles in my Grand Touring.

The most reliable SUV Mazda cx 9.
This car is very reliable the back seats have an amazing button that allows your passengers to lay down overall the performance is the best. The only thing I wish this car had is leather seats. So overall if you want a comfortable safe big family car with a huge trunk you can never go wrong with the Mazda cx.

The car has lots of trunk space and is reliable. Also there is lots of legroom in the third row. There is a great use for bring people to events like sports games or to the beach or the pool. So this is why I like my Mazda.

Spacious interior with tons of leg room for my two teenage boys, tons of cargo space in back plus the back seats fold down flat to allow for more space. Heated seats, sunroof, CD player, navigation system, bluetooth etc... All the bells and whistles. This car pretty much goes anywhere and handles amazingly well, I am an avid kayaker so I do a lot of driving off road, and also have to drive in different seasons and it handles it all well. It is just an all around nice car.

Some of the cons of my car is that the tire pressure light always come on when I'm driving. Also the windows I find are a little too dark so it is hard to see sometime. Finally I think the third row needs to be easier to get in.

The screen on the backup camera is difficult to see when the sun is out, and the only other thing I would change is the center console between the driver and passenger, it just needs to be in a different position or made a little smaller, it takes up a lot of space.
