The Mazda cx-9 grand touring is highly recommended.
The Mazda cx-9 is a fantastic family vehicle that also looks amazing. The interior rivals luxury vehicles that cost many thousands more, and the performance rivals smaller and leaner sporty cars. I have absolutely no issues with my cx-9 either on the highway or on surface streets. The grand touring has all the bells and whistles you would expect in a much more expensive SUV.

A must buy! I cannot believe I waited this long to buy a Mazda cx-9!
Absolutely love the Mazda cx-9! It was a huge upgrade from my previous car and it makes me so happy every time I sit in the driver's seat! The seats are comfortable, there’s a ton of trunk space and the rows of seats are spacious! The lane assist feature is my favorite, and the back up camera makes parking so easy!

My great cx-9: performance and safety.
Sometimes the navigation screen goes out, good visibility, seats are comfortable, like the safety features, good storage space for a trip. Vehicle gets good gas mileage. Mazda has been great with service. Like the feel of the car when I drive it. Audio pairs nicely with my phone.

Amazingly tough vehicle, with wide view, abs, and lane sensors.
Love it, rides well, comfortably fits up to 7 passengers, great on gas consumption. Nice interior with awesome features, navigation, CD, Bluetooth. Ease in handling on various terrains, and comfortable seating. Extra trunk space with folding rear seating.

One detail is being able to see driving directions above driver dashboard.
The space is exceptional. The truck space is great and when needed we have an extra row of seats. I have two car seats in the back seat and I still can fit between them. It has roll up shades to block the sun from the kids eyes. The front seats can heat up in the winter time.

It drives as good as it looks, and very reliable so far.
This vehicle is awesome. Super comfortable, fun to drive, lots of room for people and cargo. Looks awesome too. Lots of safety features. Very reliable so far. The screen for the center controls had an issue in the corner but it was covered by the warranty. The GPS takes some getting used to and I am up for an upgrade that they already told me is expensive. I cannot think of anything negative about the car. It is a crossover but it really drives closer to a sports car. I tested the highlander because I love Toyota but the cx-9 drives so much better.

The Mazda cx-9 - not necessarily the soccer mom vehicle.
I wish that the second row of seats would fold down more easily. I wish that the hatch would open with the wave of my foot. The multi-purpose lever for wiper settings is a bit confusing. The navigation system is helpful but there are limitations. For example, if there is a need to change your destination you must come to a complete stop to do so. I understand the safety reasons for this but it seems that there should be some override so that the passenger could make the adjustment.

Amazing cx9, a wonderful family crossover car!
My Mazda c-x9 is wonderful. It is visually appealing and comfortable. My cx9 drives like a car, but with the room of a minivan. This is the third cx 9 I have purchased, and my favorite of the three. We have also purchased three Mazda 6’s. Overall I am quite pleased with the Mazda family of vehicles.

It runs really good on gas.
My vehicle is reliable most of the time. I say most of the time only because it has it is problems sometimes. Otherwise it runs good on gas and etc.

IT IS NOT A HUGE SUV. IT IS BUILT LIKE A REGULAR CAR AND IS NOT BUILT ON A TRUCK BODY.
IT IS A NICE SUV BUT I WISH IT WAS A LITTLE MORE STYLISH. THE BACK UP CAMERA IS VERY USEFUL AND THE FUEL EFFICIENCY IS OK - NOT GREAT.
accountCircle Ashley R
Great power and fuel efficiency.
I like the power it has, I dislike the way it shifts sometimes. It is not always smooth. Has a great look to it, wish the third row was roomier.

Pros from Owners

likeFilled Lauren G.

We have had no issues with this car thus far. The maintenance has been affordable too. Great for a family with 3 kids or less. There is a lot of trunk space even if you have the 3rd row up. I love the backup mirror, makes backing up a lot more comfortable.

Cons from Owners

dislikeFilled Lauren G.

If you have 2 babies in infant seats, it makes it really difficult to have people access the 3rd row of seats. They have to climb through the trunk. Other than that I do not really have many cons about this car.

No problems. It is reliable. I had to get a bolt tightened that was causing a noise and sometimes the air doesn't blow super cold

I don't know the sticker price of a new one; mine had just short of 30K miles and cost around $24K. Yes, it was a very good value as the car is fully loaded. It actually has more features than I... Read More
