The pros are sliding doors on both sides; this is advantageous when hauling kids around. We wanted a minivan and looked at Toyota sienna, but it was not available in a stick shift which my husband and I both prefer. The Mazda 5 is the only stick shift minivan we could find.
The gas mileage for the Mazda 5 is not the best, but we overlooked this since we wanted a stick shift minivan for kids, and it was the only one available. I also find that the blind spots on the windshield are not the best. I need to take extra care when turning to be sure I am not missing another vehicle or pedestrian.
The 2008 Mazda Mazda5 has an average owner rating of 4.17 out of 5 which ranks it #15 of 29 other Small Cars.
