It's reliable and doesn't handle like a van. Feels great.
My van has been very reliable. We've had very few problems with it, only age related problems. Love the automatic sliding doors.

The Mazda van is a very reliable and dependable vehicle
The vehicle has been extremely reliable. We have taken it on many long trips and have enjoyed how comfortable it is. We also enjoyed the amount of trunk space available.

I am happy to use it to help others.
I love the size and utility of the vehicle. I like the performance. I wish it got a little better gas mileage.

A very reliable and comfortable vehicle. Plenty of space and the perfect size.
Our Mazda mph has been a very reliable and trustworthy car throughout the 12 years we have owned it. We have experienced the normal barrage of issues that you would expect with maintaining a vehicle for 12 years. But overall nothing major to speak of. The biggest problem for our Mazda would be the airbag recall but Mazda was quick to notify us of the potential problem and the dealership was fast to replace the affected airbags. All in all it was a professional and well done job. We've been extremely happy with our purchase and would buy another Mazda when the time comes, until then we will continue to drive our trusty van.

My Mazda/mpv is good for family use.
The car performs good so far after 12 years. I used it for all from family usage like shopping, sending someone to work, driving my kids to schools, etc.. There was only 2 times that I met and needed to switch the main battery. And maybe 3 times to switch the light bulb for the brake. And of course some tire changes. Other than these, it is all good.

While it looks like a soccer mom van, it has power behind it.
I like the room that the van affords me. It is fairly efficient on gas and has some power in it. I dislike that only one seat in the middle row can slide, while the other is stationary.

Good quality, dependable vehicle.
Good size van for the family. Plenty of room for all of our stuff. Dependable and not too costly to own. Wish it had a little bit higher fuel economy.

It is very roomy and comfortable
Love that it is roomy and even my teenages can sit in the back seats. It is very easy to drive. Only complaint is it takes very wide turns. Perfect family car.

Nothing interesting about it in my opinion.
I bought it used, and it has broken down a few times driving far distances. Busted radiator, exhaust pipe broke and was dragging under the van, it smokes but doesn't overheat, sometimes makes weird noises. It has been reliable on getting me to and from throughout town, however I worry a lot about what's going to go wrong next and when it will happen. It is comfortable though. Nice, roomy. Cloth, gray interior. Makes things like shopping easier with all the extra space. Back seat folds down to create more room, seats can be taken out if needed. However, I would not buy one again if given the chance.

I like that it is spacious.
My brakes seem to make a noise when it is raining. Otherwise it seems to be a good running van. It is hard to remove the back seat. I probably won't buy another Mazda again as it seems more expensive to fix. I do like the color and ease to drive it though.

Not enough leg room for the driver. Steering is pretty sensitive.
It is very reliable. Has a smooth ride. Lots of cargo space

That it is solid and dependable. It has a long history and memories to match.
I like that vehicle is large and heavy, but I am tired of driving a mom mom van and am ready for a smaller vehicle.

Pros from Owners

likeFilled Venita J.

Space and comfort. I use it to transport my daughters to and from college and I am able to carry everything they need in one trip. My next car will need to be at least the same size or bigger. I really like the Toyota 4runner as my next car. I am currently researching it.

likeFilled Lindsey W.

Longevity, handles many road conditions well, durable for a young family with lots of children. Roomy for carrying luggage and items, lots of seating. Love how it handles on the highways. Low maintenance, easy to look under the hood and check by myself.

likeFilled Tabitha W.

It is a great van. It goes fast. I have never had problems with it. It is like a small truck. I love my Mazda mpv. It had simple fixes but it was ready. It didn't drain me. It is a good reliable car that has never disappointed me.

Cons from Owners

dislikeFilled Venita J.

It is old and I truly need to upgrade. The interior is falling apart and now one of the windows is stuck down so when it rains I have to put plastic over the windows. It has rained in it several times which if the main reason I need a new car.

dislikeFilled Lindsey W.

As with most Older versions of cars, we are having a harder time getting hold of needed parts for it. Have had to replace several sensors and essential parts as it passed the 200,000 mileage gauged. Does shake a little at higher speeds.

dislikeFilled Tabitha W.

Sliding doors always froze. The drivers door I was always able to get unstuck but the rest I had to wait till it heated up. The heater is not all that great. There is heat just does not warm you when driving.
