My Mazda it is great and I love it
I like my vehicle. It drives smooth and is very comfortable. I drive it to work but also on weekend getaways. It is very reliable, comfortable and fun. It has radio AM/FM and CD player Also has air condition throughout the vehicle. It has place for Aux cord so you can listen to your music and make calls

Best visibility in an SUV.
I love my Tribute! Its reliable and comfortable. I have had very few problems with it even with it being ten years old. It does not have all the bells and whistles it could have but I barely miss them with how great the car is in general. This car has the best visibility and the thought of buying another one at any point scares me because I know i'll never be able to find one with the same visibility as this one. I also love how reliable this car is. Its so well built and has very few problems. The only issue I have run into is a faulty tire pressure light.

Great vehicle, drives well back window hardware isn't the best
This vehicle is great, I bought it used so it's not brand new but has held up well. It's good for snowy weather which I have where I live. Gas mileage is ok but could be better. Drives smoothly, has no major problems, and the sound quality is good as well. The back window opens but the hardware that holds it cannot be ordered for a replacement, you will need to replace the entire window. That part is annoying

My wonderful Mazda tribute.
Comfortable riding. Good gas mileage. Easy driving. Easy to keep clean. Love the bucket seats. Lots of storage in hatchback ??easy to park. Is a five passenger vehicle. Has a luggage rack on roof if the hatchback is full. Side mirrors are movable. Love the vehicle.

All around awesome SUV. Love Mazda!
Great in the snow, gets good gas mileage for an SUV. Love the size-it’s not overwhelming large. Has a lot of space and storage; also has the touring package. Only complaint is that the rear passenger side quarter panel is really rusting. Unexpected since the vehicle is garage kept.

Gas efficient family vehicle
We've had 2 engine problems during our ownership. We have replaced our engine about a year ago and we are already having spark plug misfires. Other than that, it's a reliable car that I feel safe driving my family around. We love the height and I get incredible gas mileage.

It's a great family car that has room for car seats and more.
It's a reliable car and any problems are easy to fix on my own. It's big enough to fit car seats in with room. And I like the features it has.

Makes a safe, spacious, family vehicle.
Vehicle is decent on gas. Has plenty of room we are able to for two cars seats in it with room do it makes a good family car. It is almost 10 years old and we are having a number of problems with it. Mist issues we have been able to fix ourselves but for others that are not very knowledgeable about cars this would have been extremely expensive. The muffler has falling off and needed to be replaced along with a number of belts. Overall it's a good vehicle that can be driving in snow and rain well.

Mazda tribute, great car, some odd quirks.
The Mazda tribute I own is a great car overall. Tons of head room, lots of legroom for the back seats. The comfort of the seats is only okay, my hip tends to bother me after longer drives. It also has very dark tinted windows which makes backing up at night difficult.

Pros from Owners

likeFilled Michelle L.

Comfort in the driver side seat. Fold down seats in the back for transporting stuff. Easy to use control buttons for the radio and heater. Blinker and wiper controls are close enough to the steering wheel, where I do not have to really remove my hand while driving. Smooth drive and great gas mileage on long drives. The flat tire notifications are extremely helpful.

Cons from Owners

dislikeFilled Michelle L.

The blind spots are a little bigger than other vehicles. I drive at about an 80% angle (not reclined like a lot of people) so the headrest makes me feel like my head is tilted forward, makes driving very annoying. I had to turn the headrest around to make driving more comfortable for me. The passenger seat belts are a little short and unfortunately make it difficult for 'heftier' people to fit comfortably seat belted in.

The 2009 Mazda Tribute has not cost a lot. Regular maintenance pays off I had to replace the battery plus a new set of tires. I believe that is very good value.
