I love my Mini. It's like driving a road legal go kart. The performance is amazing. The car is truest unique and unlike anything else in the road. The interior is luxurious with very nice materials. Definitely not going to get rid of mine anytime soon!!

My mini cooper base has great gas mileage, I get almost 40 miles to the gallon, but because it is a import it is hard to have serviced. It has an electronic dipstick which means it is very few and far between who know how to service this type of car.

Fun, fast, and reliable mini!
My mini cooper is the most fun car I have ever owned. It is small, so do not plan to drive around more than four people at a time, and think twice about car seats. It can get cramped very quickly. It is a great weekend or road trip car, and has a great sound system if you love music. It is a base model, but it still has a lot of features. Leather seats come standard, but there are no seat warmers, which is surprising. There is a computer screen but you have to use a mouse to control it, not a touch screen, which can get annoying. It is fast! That is the best feature. Very reliable, only had to change brake pads in the almost four years I have owned the car, and great gas. BMW owns mini so repairs can be costly, so try to do as much own your own as possible, unless you have a warranty.

Quick, compact car that is suitable for any climate.
I haven't experienced any problems with my mini. It is fast, handles beautifully in all weather conditions and is very comfortable to drive. With the adaptive suspension I can adjust how hard the steering is to suit my mood. The heated leather seats are also a plus.

Great compromises between size and practicality; performance and economy.
Quick, affordable run-about. It is small enough to park just about anywhere while roomy enough to haul some larger items (guitar amps, grills, 50” TVs.) Modern computer control: smartphone integration, hands free calling, heads-up display, a few different performance modes and parking cameras all make this a pleasure to drive. It corners like it is on rails and in performance mode is fairly quick off the line, too. Front wheel drive makes it easier for the average driver to control in various weather conditions and situations while still feeling sporty enough for the rest of us.

Perfect cruising car for those who want a good looking vehicle car.
The vehicle is amazing! It drives super smooth on the road, I feel good driving it with my wife and dogs. It is a bit small so people over 6' might have a hard time in this vehicle. It has a really tight suspension, so going into dips, going on speed bumps is a bit of a task. Other than that, it works fine, smooth. I hope this review helps anyone looking to buy a mini. For it has certainly helped my life improve!

Yes you should buy a mini cooper.
It is really good with gas especially for long trips. I can go 200 miles and only use a quarter of a tank. It drives really smooth on highways and has excellent visibility (no blind spots). Although it is small, I do feel safe because of the visibility and reliability of this car.

Fun to drive and great gas mileage.
Love my red mini with manual transmission and sunroof. Backseat is a bit tight. Like the 4 door model better than the 2 door model. Doors on the 2 door model are really heavy. Stereo system and in dash display are nice. Great gas mileage. Very fun car to drive!

Buy it for the fun of it!
I’m the second owner of a 2016 MCS. Purchased 3 months ago, fully loaded with 23k miles. A lot of fun to drive, easy to park, and fits well in garage. Mileage is fine; and if you want more mpg,, do your research and get another car. Original battery so I use a battery maintainer once a month. I still have one service left on original service plan, but managed to drop a few hundred on dealer recommended services. I bought it as a reasonably priced used car and couldn’t be happier. Our other car is a Subaru Outback that is bulletproof (repair wise), so when I spend a few hundred, like replacing run flats with conventional tires, I count it as joy (and a far less bumpy ride). Buy one and enjoy it as you’ll be one of the few, relatively speaking, owners of a true pocket rocket!

A really fun and stylish car while being safe and efficient
I have loved this car from the first day my parents got it for me for my 16th birthday. It's amazing on gas and super easy and comfortable to drive. Something I really appreciate about it is that even though it's a "compact" car it's super safe. I can definitely see myself getting another MINI car in the future!

Mini cooper works- easy to handle!
I like the colors on the inside. I like that it has multiple circles inside. I like how easy it is to park. It is easy to maneuver. The front seat is comfortable. The back seat is uncomfortable. I like the sunroof. I wish the middle console was larger.

Mostly amazing mini cooper base trim.
Never had any kind of mechanical or electrical issue with my mini cooper. The only complaint I have is that the brakes seem to be designed to wear faster than other makes. I do not drive recklessly and I was told by a mechanic that he sees this in most mini branded vehicles.

Mini cooper s fast and furious.
Fast and fun. It economical and easy to park. It maneuvers and handles very well and is stylish and very fun to drive. It customizable and is a great car for the inner city. It gets over 30 miles per gallon for a German designed car. I enjoy driving it very much.

Interior is fantastic, contains all the 'creature-comforts' that make it lovely to drive. Roomier on the inside than what one would expect. Very fun to drive; although having a manual transmission would have been more desirable. Maintenance and repairs are extremely expensive, so that is a downside.

First mini- forever mini!
The performance and reliability are excellent. The car is extremely good on gas and has been in excellent condition thus far. You can use a green eco mode too. The car needs very minimal maintenance and is very fast but also feels extremely safe. The heat and air conditioning are also above par. I'd buy this same exact car again.

This is my second mini. I love them. It's so fun to drive and I've never had any major issues with either car. I opted for the navigation and cold weather packages and am really glad I did, there's nothing better than getting into a warm seat on a cold winter morning. I have no plans to purchase anything other than mini.

Beware..!! Maintence Will Cost You
I Own a 2006 Mini cooper Hatchback my passenger side Strut Mount Cracked, so I got That Fixed, I Brought the Mount About $60.00 The service $100.00. Then My Control arms and ball joints were bad Fixed it. $188.00 Parts Labor $350 now my Muffler is Rusted Whole, That's gonna cost me. I'm going Park the car after I get the Muffler Done and oil And Trans Re oiled.. I'm Buying a monthly Bus Pass again But its Great on Gas a full tank last me two weeks because I only travel from Paterson To Hackensack..Becarefull buying the mini cooper unless your trees in your backyard grows Money.

The air vents smell when you first turn the car on.
The air vents/conditioner have a problem of starting to smell really awful. We've had them professionally cleaned multiple times, kept the car covered, kept it in the garage, and nothing works. They say it is just a problem with this particular line of cars. Once it gets aired out it is fine though and drives great. Awesome responsiveness and comfortable.

MINImalistic Driving With Fun
Problems: maintenance is very expensive. However normal maintenance such as oil changes do not have to be done near as much as other cars. Performance: This vehicle has get up and go! Great performance. Reliability: No problems so far, this vehicle has great gas mileage. Comfort: Very comfortable, everything adjust! Including the seats, steering wheel, size of text, viewing colors, and driving mile viewing system. All the bells and whistles included in this beauty.

I highly recommend the 4 door mini cooper s hardtop.
My mini has been extremely reliable. I have had no issues to date. It is gas mileage, nearly 35 miles per gallon, has been fantastic. I love the get-up and go and the overall performance of the car. It truly is like driving a go kart for real. It makes me smile every time I get behind the wheel. The sound system is fantastic. I have not 1 bad thing I can say about my car. This is my second mini. My current mini is the turbocharged s model with a John Cooper works interior package.

Problems with the mini fuel gauge.
I really like my car, it is comfortable and runs well. I had some problems about previous owners (we bought the car used) not caring for it as much as I have since I purchased it, but taking it to the shop a few times seems to remedy the problems. However the paint is very easily scratched. This may be because I have to park it in a very small garage. Also, the fuel monitor is very finicky. It says it is full until the tank is at about 2/3, then very quickly moves down to half. It says it is at half until the tank is almost empty, then very quickly runs down to 1/4. Sometimes it can stay at 1/4 for a long time, but sooner or later it suddenly decides to tell me I am running on fumes! That can be a bit frustrating.

Super fun, reliable and quick car.
The car had done 60000 miles with not a single issue. It is fast, good on fuel and comfortable. Grips the road very well and is easy to park. Consumes front tires every 30000 miles or so. Back seat legroom is not great but it is available if necessary. Nothing not even a bulb has blown in it since I bought it new.

Just absolutely fun to drive and a great looking well built car.
Vehicle has done over 60,000 miles with only an engine mount issue which has recently required a replacement (not under warranty). Car is great fun to drive and extremely well built. OEM servicing and repairs are sky high in terms of price and so it will be a hard decision if I keep the vehicle once it is out of its warranty. Engine mount is $1200 by BMW to replace the $175 part. I'd like another one but depends on the p/x price.

Easy fun to drive lovable car.
Love my mini cooper s, she drives like a buggy. Corners really easily. I love that I can drive in green mode around during the week and then switch to sports mode for fun drives. The media system is easy to use and connects seamlessly to my phone. I love that the pictures from the album show on screen.

It is a very good, affordable car.
It is an overall good car. It was my very first car and I really do not have complaints. It drives well and I didn't have any problems (maintenance wise). The cars are also customizable online which is helpful and a nice feature to have in the long run. It is a decent car for people of any age or driving experience.

It's good with gas and is easy to get around the city in it.
I like that it is small and easy to park. It has a backup camera and keyless entry which are 2 reasons I love it. I also enjoy the air conditioning. Although, the size of the car is a little uncomfortable, and when I drive it, it feels like I'm looking through a bubble.

The interior is unique because of the middle console lights.
Really enjoy the cooper. It is fuel efficient and the design is great. The only negative thing is that the nearest dealership is about 2 hours away from where I live, and I feel like I am constantly having to bring it in for service. Furthermore, I would suggest to anyone considering purchasing a mini also purchase their maintenance warranty, which I consider to be worth it.

Very reliable, but expensive.
The mini coupe is not very good on gas. A large majority- if not all the repairs are pretty expensive. Aside from those things the car has been fairly reliable if you keep up with the maintenance. I do not find myself ever being stranded due to my car breaking down thankfully.

My car has a great sound system.
I have little to no problems! I get an average of 30 miles per gallon. I rarely have to get gas compared to my truck driving friends. When I am low on oil, my car notifies me so I do not hurt the engine. It is surprisingly spacious for a small car, and I love it.

Good but with unfortunate downfalls.
It is very small, barely anything fits in it. I do not think there should be back seats available due to the fact people can barely fit. I do think it is very easy and fun to drive. It comes with great speakers all around the car. Perfect for 1-2 people or small pets. Wish it didn't need much maintenance. It usually asks once a month, it is quite unfortunate. The longer I have had it the more problems it has given me.

The mini cooper is still a fantastic vehicle.
There have been no mechanical problems to date; however, the automatic transmission and the larger size of the vehicle, compared to my 2008 mini cooper has had a negative impact on my gas mileage - even while driving in 'green mode'. The bigger size has made a positive impact on the trunk space. I also really like the boot package that includes a false bottom storage in the trunk.

2016 mini cooper pros/cons simplified.
Water leak on floorboards on occasion. Fluid levels vary at different times. Gets great gas mileage, very comfortable to drive long distances. Plenty of space for bags when traveling. You have to buy premium gas but it is a small tans so it is only 34 bucks. All in all great car.

The vehicle is a small car with cute external features, and a nice interior.
It's very close to the ground making it easy to have external damage caused by materials around. Also being a small car it is easy for bigger trucks on the highway to not see you due to the car easily being in the blind spot. This makes it your job to spot if a car if trying to come over on your lane.

Great car, but not as great as it used to be.
I loved my previous mini so much that I decided to purchase a new now. The generation 3 model of the sam vehicle does not appeal to me as much as the generation 2 did. It is less fun to drive and the fuel economy is not as good. Though the new mini is still fun to drive and seems to provide more power, it also feels more sluggish than I am use to driving a mini.

Love the small car. It is convenient for city driving and parking. Square back makes lots of room inside for packing when I take cross country trips. Standard model is easy to shift and rides smoothly on the highway. Great pick up.

One problem
I love my Mini Clubman, wonderful All4 drive. However, for such a small engine, the gas mileage is horrible. My pervious Audi 4 used less gas. And for this it gets a 3 star rating.

Very speedy for the size, love zipping into small parking spaces, love the 'feel of the road' ride, service at Nick Alexander is excellent, rental car during service is free, love the sports car look, maintenance every 9k miles is convenient, problem with chugging effect upon starting up, finding the meaning of engine lights is confusing.

My mini cooper is highly reliable and a great all-around car. Small size makes it easily maneuverable and good to park. Beautiful interior with modern technological features. Surprising amount of space within the car -- easily fits 4 passengers. Highly recommend purchasing.

Mini Cooper S, fun, fast and sporty.
I enjoy driving my mini Cooper s because it handles well and can go fast quickly. The interior of the car is fun. It has different color lights to select from and the colors change when you start the car, change radio station, etc. It also has a sport button that makes the car go faster. However, it is an expensive car to maintain as far as service. This is my third mini Cooper s. The car fits my personality. It does have a bike rack but I wouldn't trust it to carry two bikes.

It's fun to drive and people smile when they see it.
This is my 3rd mini convertible and it will be the only model car i will buy. It's fun to drive and my dog fits perfectly in the back seat without falling between the front/back seat space! And, people smile when they see the car and comment on how cute it is.
