Best of all worlds. Small, but roomy. Sporty, but practical.
I find my paceman a joy to drive, it is roomy and gets excellent gas mileage. I have had no mechanical issues.

I love how customizable my side mirrors are.
Mini cooper has always been my favorite car maker! Their effortless style easily switching between a cute casual car and high end details. It's very reliable I haven't had any issues with is thus far, it's great on gas and has nice amenities inside as well. I do not think I'll ever have another car brand in my life. Mini gal forever!

I loved that the car was a bigger size mini forest green with a taupe interior.
Absolutely loved my paceman, I have had for a few years now. I got it is at 46k miles and I haven’t had many issues. However, I will say after 100k the car requires lots of work to maintain so be prepared for that or trade in before to avoid a heavy repair cost. Not for labor but for parts.

It is black with a white top. We have a sunroof, heated seats and tinted windows.
Only problems we have had are the check engine light which was easily resolved. We get compliments everywhere we go. It is like a luxury vehicle. The seats are heated and it is nice to sit in. We also have the capability of using Bluetooth to answer calls in the car which we did not have in our previous vehicle.

Great little car for adventures!
I really like the sport mode on mountain roads, it really helps staying power in the curves. My car has three get up and go I am looking for. My car is small, so not a great family car. But I absolutely love it. Poifect for a weekend getaway. Easy to load up and go.

Fun car but expensive to own.
Like how it drives, handles, etc. It has a surprising amount of space inside as well and is very comfortable inside. The only issue is the cost to repair. The battery could only be replaced by the dealership and cost $350! Tires are also ridiculously expensive since we have to use run-flats!

Fast but super annoying !
Its fast because of the turbo, which I like. Biggest complaint is the door. It slams shut on your leg even it's a completely flat surface.

Compact sporty coupe with more interior space than you would think.
I really love the body and style of the cooper paceman. I enjoy the color of mine (gray) but would probably like either black or blue or white as an alternative color. Its automatic which is good for someone that cannot drive stick. The seat warmers and sunroof are great. The trunk space is more than you would anticipate. The back seats are more for show and not very function as this is a coupe and the legroom is minimal.

Pros from Owners

likeFilled Ryan L.

The pros include a stylish body, seat warmers, compact car for parking in a city or garage, good sound system, comfortable for a compact car. The interior is also stylish and I like the interior lighting which can be changed/dimmed.

Fast, stylish, great on gas mileage, gets up and goes, AWD, has sport mode, great for road trips. Handles well in all weather, unique, comfortable, lots of legroom, very well thought out. Great little car!

likeFilled Autumn H.

It is pretty small, has good gas mileage, comfy leather seats, a good radio, has four seats, is safe for kids, has good trunk space, led headlights lights, it is pretty fast, and it gives you warnings that you cannot miss when something is wrong or low, like gas.

Cons from Owners

dislikeFilled Ryan L.

The cons of the car include that the rear seats are very small and not easy to get into - it is advertised as having 4 seats but really should only be used as a 2 seat vehicle. There is not Bluetooth in the car for music so I had to purchase a separate Bluetooth receiver to plug in so that I could connect my phone and music.

dislikeFilled Tami F.

Expensive to work on and for maintenance, but what car is not these days. Can be a somewhat jerky ride for passengers. It is very sensitive to the touch, so it can be rough for passengers. It is easy to hydroplane in rainy weather, so you have to really watch where you place your tires in the roadway.

dislikeFilled Autumn H.

It has broken down a lot of times. We've replaced three serpent belts, some coils, and tires. It takes a while to get cold when it is hot outside. When trying to fix the things that are wrong you have to take so many things out from under the hood. When we tried to replace the belt we had to take headlights out, tires and other parts because it was so compact.
