The car has saved my life more than once.
It's a fast sport car, very reliable car has never left me stranded. Problems with the cars are that if you put an aftermarket stereo there is a huge chance that you will blow your dash lights and tail lights. You could find them very cheap.

It is cute and sporty and runs great. I am in love with it and don't want to sell it.
This car is a v6 so it is quick but takes up gas. It is still running great for an 18 year old car. I only have one issue with it and it is probably caused by my recent car accident. There’s something leaking which is causing water all over my floor constantly.

That it is a very dependable vehicle and it has never let me down once.
I don't have any complaints about the Eclipse at all. It gets pretty fair gas mileage and has been very dependable in the almost 6 years that I have owned it.

Nothing extremely important about the car it runs good.
Almost 200,000 miles still runs good but rattling noise when the ac turns on. Car is used started off with bad belts and had to get radiator replaced. Coolant was clogged but got that fixed with a pressure tester. Car is in good condition now then what it was when it was bought.

Older, but still very reliable car.
My vehicle is very reliable. It has over 200, 000 miles on it but it has barely had any problems. In the past 3 months, I have had to replace the air compressor because my power steering was not working, but otherwise, I have not had to do any other work on it. My favorite thing about my car is the handling. I always say that it reminds me of driving a go cart and I really enjoy that about my car.

Fast quick and fun to drive.
I bought my 2000 eclipse GT 3.0 V6 with 90,000 on it. It now is approaching 120,000. I have had no mechanical issues at all. I have had a high performance cold air intake as well as the exhaust installed. Runs and sounds amazing. I have had to replace the rear and front control arms but that is it. Love the car.

It has been a great car to me. If you keep up the maintenance it will last years
This has been my dream car. It is well made, sporty and semi-fast. Looks great when kept clean too

Sporty and fun car that is also great on gas.
I love this car, it is fun and sporty. The interior is black with red accents. It is super face, great on gas. The only problem I have had with it in all these years is that now I have a slight oil leak. Which has been told to me is common in these cars.

My ugly, reliable Mitsubishi Eclipse.
My Mitsubishi Eclipse is a really reliable car that gets me from location to location, however it is not a stylish and comfortable car to do so. I have had very little mechanical complications with my eclipse, but the inside of the car is a nightmare. Due to the dark interior, the dashboard cracked years ago from the Kansas heat causing issues within the dashboard. The car has very large windows which are nice for driving but are very bad for allowing heat into the vehicle during the summer. Overall, my eclipse is very mechanically reliable but not stylish for current times.

Would never own another vehicle again.
It has been tore up more than it has run like it's supposed to. Motor problems to the front driver tire falling off while being driven, luckily I was turning and not traveling down the road. The timing belt has jumped time twice and there has been too many repairs for my budget. I right now have no way to ride.

Great car, great gas mileage.
My car has several pros and a few cons. I've recently had to replace all my belts. The seals leak around the sunroof and the radio does not work. However, I get great gas mileage and it drives really good. I wouldn't recommended this car as a family car because it has no room.

6 cylinder Mitsubishi eclipse. Fun, but costly.
My Mitsubishi eclipse is a good car, although it is not the most reliable/efficient. The interior of the car contains leather seats, which makes for a comfy ride. Unfortunately, however, it is not the best on gas due to the large engine size (6 cylinder). If one is looking for a commuter car, I would not recommend purchasing a Mitsubishi eclipse. The car also has many problems, and is costly to fix. All in all, not a bad car but not the best either.

This car is fast and fun to drive. The only problem is that it is not that fuel efficient.
I like the look of it. It is very quick because it has a turbo. I dislike driving it sometimes because it is a stick shift and I get tired of pressing the clutch while in traffic.

Dependable vehicle, easy on gas mileage and parts are about average too replace.
The eclipse GT of mine has for the most part only had minor issues since I purchased it 3 years ago. I have replaced all four brakes, rotors, brake calipers, and bought new tires. Most recently the transmission hose busted and I have not been able to get the time to get under there and get it fixed. It is not the best of vehicles if you have a family, being such a compact car, with only two doors and no rear windows, it could be hazardous for anyone too Escape from the back seats. They are good running and quiet but quick cars as long as they are maintained properly. Although they sit low to the ground they still do not have a problem with constantly scraping concrete while driving down the road.

Is The 2000 Mitsubishi Eclipse A Good Car?

It's reliable and great on gas. It's very small though, and only a 2-door. It is a good vehicle, all in all.

Is The 2000 Mitsubishi Eclipse A Good Value?

In 2013, we bought the vehicle for $3,000. I think now, in the best condition, you could sell a 2000 Mitsubishi Eclipse for $1800.
