This 2003 Mitsubishi outlander is a real workhorse. Reliable and comfortable, it takes me on my everyday journeys about town and it has taken me on 3,000 mile trips. It has needed little maintenance and the mileage is good. The leather upholstery in this car - unbelievably - looks as good as it did when the car was newly purchased. The carpeting still looks terrific. This car is fun to drive! It can comfortably carry five people and the trunk of the car holds whatever is needed: suitcases, for a long trip or groceries and other items - like furniture! The car is a quiet ride. The backseat is roomy - even with three people in the back! And as mentioned earlier, the reliability of this car is exceptional. The windows are automatic and the air conditioning is superb. The two rear view windows can be adjusted automatically and are quite large for a 2003 car. The body of the car is clean and sleek and the turning radius is excellent. With minimal vehicle problems, great performance and reliability, extreme comfort, great heating and air conditioning features, this 2003 Mitsubishi is a car that anyone would be proud to own!

All wheel drive, good winter and outdoor vehicle
It was given to me by an elderly lady that I've known for many years. I haven't had any problems with it in the last two years I've owned it. Good on gas, plenty of room, good outdoor activity vehicle, has only 89,000 miles so far. Oil changes regularly and serviced as recommended. Very good in winter. Very reliable vehicle without many problems along the way.

I love how my car handles during a Minnesotan Winter!
It is a bit harder to get parts for a Mitsubishi in this area. It would be nice to have easier access to cup holders. It would be nice to have a bit more cargo room.

It is spacious, comfortable, tall, and doesn't consume much gas.
It is reliable, I never had big problems with it, but since is 15 years old I think it is time to chance it for a newer vehicle.

My car, a great one to be sure.
It is a car we have had since 2005, thirteen years old. I taught my kids how to drive in it, and now I drive it. I keep it because it is in good shape, and I can work on most of it without an it license. It was a car we found because it is a 4 wheel drive vehicle, automatic, power everything and seems to respond well to what I need it to do.

Is the best vehicle I have had.
I have not had any problems with this car. It is very reliable and has all wheel drive. This vehicles is very good for the person who hunts and fish.

The comfort car for the sports enthusiast.
The seats are extremely comfortable. I previously owned a Volvo and have owned several other cars, but this one is by far the most comfortable in terms of seating. In general, the interior is well designed - ergonomically sound and durable. The cargo space is ample, and, when the rear seats are folded down, there is sufficient space to haul either cargo or all of my four dogs. This is a vehicle that I would recommend to anyone who needs extra cargo space but wishes not to compromise on comfort or gas mileage.

I love how big and roomy it is. I can fit a lot of things in the trunk.
So far I have no problems with my vehicle. Reliable and drives smoothly. It is very comfortable and roomy. My children have enough space to relax and enjoy the drive every single time.I truly love my Mitsubishi Outlander. I would recommend to anyone.

That is it is overall one of the best and affordable SUVs on the market.
I dislike that the paint wasn't as durable as I hoped. The great part is that I have all services that I need annually, and it only has 63,000 miles and works great.

A good practical vehicle with no major issues
The Mitsubishi Outlander really is a good car. I've had this car for 10 years now and the only issues I've had with it is the air conditioning. I've only had to replace the panel controlling the air as it gets stuck going from heat to air. Otherwise no major issues.

If you take care of this car it will last forever and it gets great gas mileage.
I like the fact that it is a crossover and has great gas mileage. It provides the space i need for everyday travel. The only complaint i would have is the blind spot

It runs very well and the air conditioning is very cold.
The car does what I need but it does get annoying having to open my doors at a drive through because I cannot roll down my windows anymore.

How well the car handles and how well the fuel economy is.
I really like the turn radius in the car and the fuel economy. I like that it isn't huge and has a great comfortable ride. I do wish the cabin was a little bit bigger though. It could really use some extra space, but other than that, it's a great car.

Sunroof, leather seats, heated, good stereo system
Super reliable. Wish it was a little bigger, but perfect for a small family. It runs great, haven't had any issues. The trunk space is perfect. Love the leather, heated seats. Great sound system, has a sunroof. Perfect car and if you stay up with maintenance, they last a long time.

Older car that runs great. My Mitsubishi outlander never quits.
At a decade and a half my vehicle is already middle aged by today's motor vehicle ownership standards. Even so my outlander performs more like a vehicle half her age. She's great. She requires little maintenance (her routine servicing for engine oil, filter, tire pressure, etc) and yet handles well on the road. Solid vehicle. She's going to be with me for a long time.

It's old. Drive it with care and you shouldn't have any major issues, but it's passed its prime of 'pushing' aggressive driving.
The car has been reliable, despite its age. The interior design still holds up well even to modern standards for being as old as it is. It has ample space for passengers and cargo. I do wish it had more power, but it does its job well enough.

It's been very dependable
Although it's old, it runs very well. I'm impressed with it's staying power and obvious original quality. It is however getting up there in age and will have to be replaced before to long.

What's most important about this car is that it does not require a lot of repairs
It burns a lot more gas then I thought it would. Rides great on the highway. The engine runs really good, but it's noisy.

Seats a family of four comfortably. The car has a lot of storage room in the back. Great for road trips.

I want another SUV and I will fix that because it got me where I needed to go.
My car is not all that it is on its last leg, it reliable when it is running I am fixing it now. I like my car because the size of the SUV is just right for me. Performance is ok, comfortable and problem it is a little rust on it and my car is old.

It's very dependable and hasn't had any major problems.
Love that it has very low mileage for the year it was made. Dislike that it needs some body work and a couple other repairs.

Works fine now but would not buy again.
Purchased this vehicle in February of 2015 from a local used car dealership. It runs fine but since I have had to replace several batteries, brakes and rotors (not sure if that's spelled correctly). The wheel shakes when I go over 70 mph. The wheel alignment seems to be off. Also, the take off is very slow and if I am trying to merge on the highway and I press the gas to speed up, the car sometimes jerks or slows down. The ac works fine but for some reason when the season changes and I try to turn the heat on, it will not work immediately. I have to wait a few days for it to work. I do like the trunk space and its big enough to fit two car seats and someone small in the middle.

Fuel efficiency, and great handling.
I love it because of the space it has in the back, great handling and awesome fuel efficiency. I have no dislikes or complaints.
