It is very spacious, and excellent on gas! The spacious interior fits two car seats well with plenty of extra room. The outlander is my personal favorite car to drive on long trips or quick trips to the grocery store. It drives excellently!
The biggest pro is that my car has pretty good gas mileage as I often drive to and from my hometown and where I am attending college. I also like that the interior is quite comfortable for long drives. The trunk is very large and I am able to fit 3 large suitcases with some room left over when I am traveling. I also feel it is pretty safe and has extra airbags were I to get in a crash.
The only con I have to say about the vehicle is the keyless fob batteries die awfully fast. Also the keyless knob breaks easily and makes for a hard time when trying to start the car without the key. Other than these two minor issues I have nothing but great things to say out the Outlander.
While the seats for the driver and passenger are quite comfortable when I am driving long distances, I do not like how cramped the back seat is if I need to carry additional passengers. I also feel that the design of the trim between the windshield and the side windows and the very back side windows in the trunk is too thick and widens blind spots. It is something I have had to adjust to relying less on my mirrors which is annoying.
The 2008 Mitsubishi Outlander has an average owner rating of 4.12 out of 5 which ranks it #13 of 23 other Compact SUVs.
