It was only made the year I purchased! Distinct color. It represents me to a tee!
My vehicle is a sport. Not too big, yet not too small for my family's lifestyle. Fits five people comfortably. Has nice truck space. I love the color. I don't like that it takes longer than most cars to accelerate.
accountCircle Lindsay G
Dependable, small SUV equipped with style and comfort!
Love my Mitsubishi! Always reliable and the perfect size - nice and roomy for packing for road trips, but not so big that it makes it difficult.
accountCircle Robert B
Reliable, trustworthy, resilient vehicle.
My car is very resourceful. It tells me how many miles of gas I have left. It has a good quiet sound. It has good suspension and good handling for my taste. I enjoy the way it looks. I have it in white. It has USB access working radio and a good sounding horn.

It has been ranked consistently as one of the safest crossovers.
I love having the 4 cylinder turbo for good gas mileage with strength. I like the SUV height off the ground. My only two complaints are there is no dual ac system for the back rows and the third row is a jump seat as opposed to a full third row.

I love my outlander sport due to all the extras that came with it.
I love the automatic windshield wipers. Also, the automatic climate control. I just set a temperature. Have push button start is really nice too.

Gas mileage is very important to me
The lightweight so the gas mileage is great! We have an optional 3rd row seats which we use a lot. It drives good in the winter and we live in New England
accountCircle Meg L
It's comfortable, reliable and has great gas mileage!
I love the size- it's perfect for our little family and is big enough to accommodate groceries or other big purchases. It's comfortable, runs well and gets great gas mileage.

2011 Mitsubishi outlander is a great car!
Awesome car! Has heated leather seats, Bluetooth, touch screen, loud speakers, back up camera, back wipers, and you can control the audio from the steering wheel. It also has 3 rows, with 7 seats total, and the back row comes down for a huge amount of trunk space which also doubles as the perfect area for tailgating!

It has a lot of mechanical issues and the warranty doesn't cover as much as you think it does.
Uncomfortable seating, not a lot of space. It does. It have a lot of power and does not perform well in snow.
accountCircle Nessa E
Overall a good car that is unique but functional.
I like my car but the parts are expensive. I do like the way it drives. My headlight went out and no one knows what’s wrong with it just tells me I need a completely new one which is like 1200$. Crazy. The functionality over all nice. I do wish inside the trunk was a little bigger because it's hard to fit certain things. Overall good car.
accountCircle Heather G
Great car with a lot of space.
It is a really great car with a lot of space in it. Great for if you have kids, easy to keep clean. Would make a good traveling car if kept up. It is good on gas for the most part. The inside of the car is really nice, seats are comfortable, nice sound also in car. It has a really big trunk to fit whatever you would need to fit.

Outlander freaking rocks!
I have not really had many problems, I feel the car handles great. I drive this all over the mtns. It is a great vehicle. I have kids and we all have plenty of room. We're not cramped. It also has good storage options. All and all a good vehicle. I would recommend this vehicle.

Good gas mileage and dependable car.
This vehicle is a good vehicle. And has nice third row seats. We have had to put a little money into it for general labor but overall good car. Good gas mileage. Dependable.
accountCircle Chandler S
Best average car ever, be different.
There is not a lot of power in the engine. Essentially there is no pep, when I try to accelerate, there is not much going on in the hood region. Overall decent car. Safe and easy to drive. Base model stereo is not great along with the speakers. But I have driven over 100k miles and it still runs pretty smooth.

2011 Mitsubishi outlander sport.
This SUV is very good on highway mileage. The body is compact so it is easier to park and maneuver. There is a problem with the fuel nozzle. There seems to be a gas leak somewhere. Super easy to change the oil and fuel filter s. The interior has some wear and tear mostly because of sun damage.
accountCircle Ashley M
It gets great gas mileage.
To small for my family. We use the car a lot and it gets cramped sometimes with all of us in there. Especially if we are traveling and have all our stuff packed into it.

My 2011 Mitsubishi outlander sport is a great reliable small SUV.
My 2011 Mitsubishi outlander sport has been reliable. It is perfect for a family of four. I have kept good maintenance on it and it still performs great. I have not had any problems, so far, with my 2011 Mitsubishi outlander sport. It does not have a lot of bells and whistles, but for the price it has everything I need.
accountCircle Alice D on June 25, 2021
Great vehicle for 2011. Normal maintenance required, otherwise great model.
None, great design. The back hatch folds down; not like the newer models which can not fold down for easy slip in loading. Normal maintenance required, otherwise great model. Headlights could be bigger or brighter. Storage, with 2 large glove compartments and middle counsel, including double cup holder. Driver also has cup holder on left of the steering wheel which is just plastic, wish it was metal. Carries 7 people. Two extra seating in the far rear of the vehicle. Extra tire under the vehicle.

Pros from Owners

likeFilled April M.

The maintenance on my 2011 Mitsubishi Outlander Sport has been low, the customer service has been great with little to no wait time when calling, great roadside assistance that arrives within an hour, low gas mileage, all around great vehicle.

likeFilled Edwin C.

There are many pros about this vehicle. The mile per gallon is amazing but not perfect. The car fits at most 7 people which is more than enough. The car is great looking. It has heating and cooling on bottom of car. Great car for a person looking for good mile per gallon.

likeFilled Jame M.

It has four wheel drive when there is snow and slick conditions which can be set on the fly. It also is power steering and windows so very comfortable to use. Plus it fits five people with room for hauling.

Cons from Owners

dislikeFilled April M.

The cons of my 2011 Mitsubishi Outlander Sport would be the recalls that I have had to do. I have had to take off three or four times to take it in for the repairs that take a few hours to complete.

dislikeFilled Edwin C.

The cons of the vehicle is that it does not have a GPS. It does not have a backup camera. And it does not have heated seats. The car has had an engine problem but it was cheap and fast to fix. That's about it, the car has more pros than cons and that's why I bought it.

dislikeFilled Jame M.

The vehicle does not have the greatest gas mileage especially in heavy traffic. Also it does not t have set ups for the latest technology to be added. Other then these things listed nothing else really comes to mind.

I paid about $19,000 in 2011 for my Mitsubishi outlander sport. I think it has great value for all the miles that I have put on it over the years.

Not sure of the resale price, but if not overpriced yes it is a solid investment. We played a bit above the market value, but no complaints on our investment.
