It is a great car you should buy it.
Lasted for 6 years good condition, no major issues. Low miles and good on gas mileage. Runs well, not too big but fits 7 people. Can put back seats down for maximum storage. Has good backup camera and good sound system with Bluetooth and hands free from the car.
accountCircle Carmen S
Amazing buy, I totally recommend it.
I love my vehicle. It is economic, comfortable; I recommend it. I really like that it is spacious and have good traction which I need since I live in the mountains. It has ample storage room. The cruise control is reliable. The color is pretty and my family loves it.
accountCircle Hayden B
Great vehicle overall, rides very smooth!
My vehicle is great! I didn't really have any problems with it. Seats are very comfortable to me, and it drives nice. Overall no complaints really. I did have a problem with the engine a while back but since then I have had no more complications. A really nice car when it comes down to it. Highly recommend buying it!!

My Mitsubishi very spacious and easy to handle. The perfect small SUV.
My Mitsubishi is reliable and spacious. I get great gas mileage and a smooth ride. I haven't had any problems with it.

Wonderful car, never had a problem.
I have never had an issue with this vehicle after 5 years and 75k miles! Very reliable, has never broken down on me. Only downside is that there is not as much room inside the car as it looks like there would be, but that is something you know before buying.

Gets great gas mileage, and is very comfortable when driving long distances
Like everything Only dislike the outside noise you hear when driving.

Great sound system. Great safety feature. Budget friendly.
I love the outlander sport because it is a little SUV but still comes in 4 wheel drive. It has a wonderful Rockford Fosgate sound system with a subwoofer so good for that bass. The outlander requires low maintenance but still has wrest extras such as the heated seats, eco feature, back up camera, legroom in backseat for 6 foot tall man. The outlander is also budget friendly. Over all it is a wonderful vehicle to invest in.
accountCircle Sandra B
Gets good gas mileage. I travelled from central Illinois to northeast Ohio on less than a tank of gas
I like the size of my SUV; not too large...it's the perfect fit. One of the reasons I chose it was that it puts less stress on my knees when I get out of the car. Only one dislike & that is the air conditioning; doesn't cool down quick enough.

Big disappointment, car is a hunk of junk.
This car has been constant one thing after another. There was a recall on the brake calipers which rust and freeze when you engage the parking brake. The catalytic converter system has an issue that still has not been figured out. The front passenger seat needs replaced because the airbag sensor went bad. The third row seat is an absolute joke. The vehicle has almost no get up and go. The brakes squeal 24/7 even though they do not need replaced. Just all in all I'd say this car was a piece of junk. I would not recommend it nor would I ever buy another Mitsubishi.

Transmission discontinued
Transmission died after 6 years and is discontinued so I'm stuck with a dead car.
accountCircle Leonard White
Electronics and heater controls s**k,noise from wind
Hands free is junk does not work 1/2 the time, Stereo has poor sound, lots of wind noise from window and door seals. Speedometer reads 7% higher than accurate shortening the warranty, Exhaust is not stainless and parts fall off, rear window washer is useless. Parts are stupid expensive, Otherwise the car is reliable, 91,600 kms the hands free is pointless. And has me cursing most of the time. Car does not hold its value either

Mitsubishi outlander- I won't buy another one.
The 3rd row has very little room. An adult or older child will not fit comfortably. When the 3rd row is up, there is no storage space in the cargo area. There are no vents in the vehicle, other than the ones on the dash up front, so the passengers in the back stay hot in the summer and cold in the winter. Screws started falling out 6 months after I bought the car brand new, causing the plastic covers of various things to fall off. Also the tread on the toes wears unevenly, which I've been told by several mechanics, Mitsubishi vehicles were notorious for.

Reliable with no problems so far. It's a zippy easy to drive and park little suv
It hasn't given me any problems. Good gas mileage. Cute little suv

It accelerates quickly and handles effortless.
This vehicle handles well and runs smoothly. It is very comfortable and easy on gas. The sound system is great and I have nothing to complain about with it is maintenance. It accelerates quickly and takes corners effortless. I love the color and the sunroof.

Interstate driving at its best.
No problems very comfortable comes with 3rd row seating for extra space. I purchased used currently has 162000 miles and its running well.

Skip the outlander sport if bang for your buck is what you are looking for.
Performs well. Front suspension seems to be a little delicate. Car is semi comfortable. Would not buy again. Other models have more features standard. It is made cheaply, lots of plastic, and despite just being basic “work-home-grocery store” driving, pieces of interior plastic have still come loose. Mainly around doors/windows. Definitely will not purchase another Mitsubishi.

2014 Mitsubishi outlander sport reliability.
This vehicle has never left me stranded. It is very inexpensive to maintain with costs that are very low and predictable. It gets typically about 25 miles to the gallon in the city and bad traffic and around 35 miles to the gallon on the highway in good traffic. It is our daily driver we drive about 100 miles per day in this car and it has never given us problems hoping to have it for several more years.

The car beeps until the drivers seatbelt is on.
The vehicle is 4 door. It has tinted window & a screen for the radio. Also comes with Bluetooth. When the driver doesn't have their seat belt, the car beeps until driver puts on their seatbelt. The car has a lot of space and it good for a small family.

Pros from Owners

likeFilled Aman W.

Some pros to my outlander are heated seats for the cold months. GPS and Sirius XM come in handy for cross country trips with the family. The sunroof when it is a nice day out. Lastly the assisted trunk opening comes in handy when. My hands are full.

likeFilled Robyn S.

It gets good gas mileage. It has Bluetooth connection with steering wheel / voice activated calling available. It has plenty of cup holders in the front. It is a small SUV so it cools/heats the backseat passengers nicely.

likeFilled Jackie R.

Gets good gas mileage, has a 10 year/100,000 mile warranty, has automatic lights, has seat heaters, has 4WD/4WD lock, perfect midsize SUV, has paddle shifters, has 18 inch wheels, has keyless entry, and has climate control.

likeFilled Mustofa K.

Great looks, it is a great choice for anyone with a big family or need to carry 7 passengers. For the price and looks, you cannot find a better deal than this one. Ifor a 7 seater compact crossover vehicle like this one, you will not have hard time parking in a small place.

likeFilled Dianna D.

Great vehicle size, great on gas and service requirements. Nice interior options. Many auto repair shops can service the vehicle. Roomy & spacious. Can carry a heavy load. Robust engine and good speed.

likeFilled Katherine W.

Reliable. It has never given me problems, just requires maintenance yearly, oil change a couple times a year. No distractions on the dashboard beyond essential knobs and buttons. Has sunroof I seldom use.

likeFilled Karen A.

It is a vehicle that is very gas economical, especially for long road trips. It drives very smooth and the engine needs very low maintenance. Leg space is enough for 7 people. The design is not too flashy.

likeFilled Lilian C.

Gas saver. Decently priced services. Good quality interiors. Comfortable. Nice and easy to drive. Nice exterior and interior look. Mitsubishi is a nice quality brand to deal with. I feel safe when driving it.

Cons from Owners

dislikeFilled Aman W.

There are no real cons to the car but maybe the low horsepower. Not necessary but would be nice if it had more. Also the service system can be hard to reset, for both me and mechanics who have a scan tool.

dislikeFilled Robyn S.

The trunk is quite small for an SUV, it may have less space than a standard sedan trunk. My model does not have a backup camera. No cup holders in the back seat at all. It does not have the newer safety features like blind spot notifications.

dislikeFilled Jackie R.

Cons would be that is has a small trunk space, and small rear passenger windows. It does not have defog mirrors. It does have climate control but does not have dual temperature control. It only has a 13 gallon gas tank.

dislikeFilled Mustofa K.

It is not as an ideal car for the commercial use. It puts a lot of pressure on the 4-cylinder engine if you carry 7 passengers all the time. My car battery had to replace after 2 years. A/C component had to replace after a year.

dislikeFilled Dianna D.

Does not have GPS or Sirius radio. Not all auto repair shops can work on this vehicle. The interior/ upholstery requires a lot of maintenance to reduce stains. Sometimes the gas mileage gives a false read.

dislikeFilled Katherine W.

Not a luxury or embellished vehicle but comfortable enough. Mine does not have button to adjust rear view mirrors on side, must be turned inside or out manually which is a problem when weather is bad.

dislikeFilled Karen A.

On the freeway, it sure feels like it will get blown away if a car speeds past you. The trunk storage is very minimal when you are using the third row seat. It could be better if it was equipped standard with a GPS navigation system and not has to be added on.

dislikeFilled Lilian C.

I really do not see any cons to this car. I enjoy driving my outlander and dealing with Mitsubishi for the first time has been a nice experience. I only have had a good experience with it so far and will get a car from Mitsubishi again.
