Nissans have a problem with motor mounts up until 2006 I believe.
I hate that my Nissan breaks down all the time. It has a known problem with motor mounts and it is a pain to deal with. It also has an odd shift lock control unit that is a pain to repair. I like that it was so cheap.

Nissan vehicles are very reliable and strong. As long as you keep up regular maintenance, it can go for a long time. Only dislike is that it's so strong when something breaks sometimes it's hard to tell when it first does it.

Dependable family car - easy on gas!
I have had this car for about 8 years. I have enjoyed driving it. At this point it is 14 years old so my issues with the car are mainly that it has not really been updated. It is pretty comfortable to ride in. My headlights do seem to need to be replaced more often than I'd like. The car does not have a sunroof, seat warmers or an auxiliary cable port, all of which are things that I'd want in a new car. But I like driving it, the trunk is quite spacious, and it has been a dependable car for my family.

Not too sure how to feel about Nissan.
My Nissan is okay but I bought it with problems already so I honestly do not know what the potential of the car is. It is not that great on gas though that I do know I would have just gotten an SUV instead which gets the same amount. An my car shakes when it is going 60 miles per hour an my friends Nissan is doing the same thing so I am guessing that is a Nissan problem.

My vehicle is 14 years old and is still hanging in there. It's time for a new one though. My service engine soon light came on today, so I'll be taking my car to the mechanic soon. The most problems that I have had are getting o2 sensors and catalytic converters

The color and leather are amazing
The car drives smoothly has very luxurious seats and doesn't have many maintenance problems. The car has leather seats which are great. And I bought it used with 5,000 miles on it. I would definitely recommend it to anyone. It the car also gets great gas mileage. It is definitely worth it

It is very reliable and easy to fix if somethings not working.
I don't really have very many problems with my Nissan and the little problems I do have are easily fixable. The performance is great and it is very reliable. It comfortable enough but I will need to upgrade. Having a family of 5 my Nissan is no longer specious enough for us. Because I bought it 2nd hand, I never got to experience Its original features. What I got was put in by the original owner. Overall I enjoy the car.

A pretty reliable vehicle.
Pretty decent car that has lasted a while, good mid-size car, that performs well. The drive is pretty smooth and handles well. Pretty comfortable ride. Only major problem was to replace the drive chain. Would consider replacing the it with the latest model.

A car for Cruising along in comfort.
The car experiences dull seals that can create transmission leaks than need a special transmission fluid to fix. The car can experience starter problems but fortunately the starter is very easy to reach right under the air pump, and requires only a few tools to fix, and gets you a great value back for selling the starter core back to an automotive company.

Okay car but there are some problems.
The back windows do not work. 3 of the 4 door handle have broken off. The seats warm up. I like the sun roof. I wish I could hook up an six cord. I wish there was Bluetooth. The speakers have been messing up. I think the oil leaks. The gas gage messes up sometimes too.

Really love the heated seats accessory. I'd be pretty bummed without it
I didn't buy my car new, but it's pretty nice. It has heated passenger and driver seats. Air conditioning works well and so does heat. There are many compartments to the car, not including the glove box. There are 4 seats not including the driver which is nice to fit a lot of people in. There's no aux but you can buy a Bluetooth adapter that works well with the car.

It is black with tan interior.
My vehicle drives really well and is smooth. The main reason why I stopped driving it for awhile was because the windshield cracked. I don't really like the interior and wish it wasn’t tan. I prefer leather. Also, it is hard to keep clean. Overall, not a bad car and could be better but that is just based on my personal taste.

It is reliable, comfortable nice looking great city car for jumping into traffic.
My car is very comfortable, though with a lower ceiling it makes high updos difficult without mashing one's bun into the ceiling when you go over bumps. I had to get work done on the cam sensor which was quite expensive. It is very reliable, it has good get up and go but the air conditioning does not work. It has no external lock for the trunk. The latch on the cup holder cover in the drivers console, broke.

One detail I like about my car is the seat warmers.
My car was reliable for a really long time until last year. The air conditioning went out twice so I had to get it fixed. The first time it only lasted a couple months and now the cool air blows just fine. I live in the desert where summers get up to 115 degrees so it was pertinent that I got it fixed. I also had some sort of issue with the engine that I am not too familiar with, but since I had it fixed everything has been fine. All of the issues happened within a year.

My 2005 Nissan Altima four door sedan is a reliable, comfortable and gas saving vehicle that I am very happy with. My Nissan Altima has served me well and has not had any major mechanical issues whatsoever. I use synthetic oil and regularly service the vehicle to keep it in top shape.

Handles break off, but it still works
It's a standard sedan. Nothing special, but no complaints. It's holds up even after high mileage. The door handles break off; it's very common and difficult to fix. The exhaust tends to rattle as well. I've done all of my own repairs and it's a simple car to fix. If recommend it if you want a no frills, reliable car

I like it that it gets good gas mileage. I don't like that it's only 4 cylinders, it has enough power to be a 6 cylinder. I don't like that if I go over 63 mph the rpm's are to high. I also don't like the seats, they are not very comfortable for long drives. All in all though, it's a good car.

I never felt like it was running the way it was supposed to be.

Reliable and Long Lasting
This car is very comfortable for long drives. It drives smooth. Decent gas mileage as well! I have had my Nissan Altima for about 2 years now and put on a total of about 40,000 miles since buying it pre-owned. It is at around 180,000 and still going strong with no major issues!

Car is very smooth. It's the first car I have ever bought and it is honestly a very good first car. The seats are cloth. Steering wheel has a very nice trip to it. The sound is prestige compared to other cars that old. The windows roll down all the way. The car can fly.

The 2005 Nissan Altima is a reliable, comfortable car with excellent acceleration and a good-looking exterior. Very little has been needed in terms of maintenance, and even at 13 years old, this car looks stylish and runs very well. Altima's we've had in the past were also good, but this one has far exceeded our expectations.

Very good for a first car. Comfortable and affordable ride.
I love that I am able to move my chair as high as I want. I love the features with the temperature, it is never too hot it too cold you can always make it perfect for you. Back seat has a spot for my little kids to sit their cups in or even put their heads on when they are sleepy. It has not failed me yet. Never had an issue with the car. The only issue I had at the beginning was my flex pipe had been broken and I had to get that fix, which made my oil leak and after that was fixed it has not been leaving at all. Cost me a round $120. Also it is very easy to tell when you something is not okay with the car. I recently started to hear something coming from my back tire and my mechanic stated it was my wheel bearing. Also this was my very first car and is still running like new. The only did I changed when I got it was the car stereo. Other than that, it is a perfect car first car.

My Nissan is very dependable. I rarely have to fix anything on it. I have monthly oil changes and the hardest part to change are the spark plugs when it is time for a tune up. Gas mileage is also a plus. It has a lot of space to be a car. Rare suspension problems.

Being a 4 cylinder vehicle it's good on gas with regular maintenance.
My car can be a reliable transportation with regular maintenance. The headlights are not bright enough and a film of yellow forms quickly causing visibility to be less. Power outlets are either in the way of the shifter or not easily accessible due to being located in the console. Does not have a purge valve for the antifreeze and it's a hassle. Overall good car with plenty of cabin space and truck space

Love Nissan car is 14 years old 130,000 miles still runs fantastic.
Car is like new I would keep it until it stops running but I have owned four previous Nissan pathfinder 4x4 that take a beating and keep on running.. I know my first 1987 was still on the road 5 years ago. I miss the taller vehicles so that will be my only reason moving out of Altima to rogue because easier for taller people to get in & out of so this winter I am move up & out to larger taller model. Altima has autostart I love full adjustable drivers seat power windows just perfect car.

I bought second hand and was really happy at first, comfortable back seats, smooth driving. Now after two years I am having a lot of problems with a/c, windows, motor problems. I am uncertain if these problems are because it is from 2005 or because it's not a good make. It does not have many features, nothing is technologically advanced.

Its reliable for the most part but if I didn't know how to work on cars then it wouldn't be so reliable parts aren't cheap for it and it seems to have a lot of recalls for this year and model but because I am not the only owner or the first owner of it I don't have a warranty I had to do a lot of repairs to it but it still drives.

Good car. It is fairly old so recently I have had multiple problems with it. I took it in to get the alternator replaced and not even a month later it died again. I am not sure if it is the alternator this time, but I also had to replace the battery. I like the car though, I like the style and it drives smoothly.

This car is reliable, comfortable, and affordable! I get awesome gas mileage and the price to insure it is reasonable.
Drives amazing and withstands the tests of times! I wish it had a spot to plug my iphone into to listen to music, and a sunroof. But since I got it used, I don't know if this is a feature that was available at the time. Trunk is nice and large, and the seats are adjustable for comfort. Would highly recommend Nissan and the Altima.

My vehicle has great bass and audio quality.
My vehicle is in good shape and has no impacted damage to the body. However, there is a slight leaking problem with the steering fluid. However, my car brings me to and from where I need to be. The speakers in the car are wonderful and have a nice bass to them.

It doesn't drift, it slips

My vehicle is a pretty good car. It does take a lot of gas because it is a v6. As long as you change the oil on time and do whatever you need for the upkeep. The year and high mileage does not matter. I am the 3rd owner of the car. It has CD am/FM radio cruise control button on steering wheel. You can also adjust the radio from a button on the steering wheel.

I love my Nissan Altima. It is extremely reliable. I drive it cross country, 3,000 miles to and live there for 6 months, using my car on mountain roads, and drive back another 3,000 miles every year. I have never needed repairs or even oil. It is a very comfortable car and the trunk is deceptively larger than it looks from the outside. It is a 4 cylinder that has more power than many 6 cylinder cars.

Nissan Altima, luxury cruiser on highway but professional go kart in town.
The car was purchased new ad has one owner, it barely has 104000 on I and is starting to show wear and tear on steering wheel, doors, seats, but also motor mounts, fuel gauge, and normal maintenance needs to be carefully watched to keep in good shape. I love this far, good on highway and quick around town.

Its an old car so it has it is problem but they are fixable. Brakes, etc.. It is a very comfortable car and it gets me to wear I need to go. Since it is older, it has to be kept up more, washed and cared for. I actually love this car and would want to keep it as long as possible.

It is a reliable car that gets good gas mileage.
I like that it is reliable. I like the school gas mileage. I do not like how old it is. I like that it was a four-door sedan.
