No accidents. Cvt transmission. Dual exhaust.

Ok so I bought my 08 Nissan Altima 2. 5s from a used car dealer a few months back. When I first got it the odometer was 103, 117 now I am at 112, 099. However the problem is when coming to complete stops my oil light will flicker then go off right after. I do not know what's wrong but I think it is the oil pan. There's also a high pitched gurgling sound coming from the right side of the engine. I do believe this may be more costly the longer I drive on it so I am having it looked at in the morning. Other than that the near 10, 000 miles I have drove it for has been fun. The cvt transmission is one of my favorite parts about the car. The fact that you can switch from automatic to manual minus the clutch is pretty cool. My car still has been in no accidents and the exterior is sleek as well as the fuzzy soft black foam seats. The mpg is not horrible but not impressive just slightly above average. As of now I average 23 city and 28 highway.

Handling, reliability, and comfort.

Problems: the biggest issue with this vehicle is that the dash melts in the sun. It gets sticky and tacky, and over time it has basically ruined. Performance: this car is fantastic and fun to drive. The 3.5L coupe that I have is zippy and has a lot of acceleration for an Altima. It handles very well. Reliability: I have had no problems at all with this car being reliable. With dedicated maintenance, this car is now 11 years old and still drives great. Comfort: front seat comfort is fantastic with plenty of legroom. Head room is fine for me (5'6'), but if you are very tall you might hit your head on the ceiling if you hit a speed bump. Back seat comfort is fine once you are in the seat, but climbing back there is difficult in the coupe. Features: with the 3.5L SE trim, I have the sunroof, cruise control, a decent stereo, and a fair bit of power. The only thing this car is lacking is bluetooth (but it's an older car).

Very good car, good mileage low maintenance.

It is quiet. I have driven it for six hours filling the tank before I left Dallas TX and when I left port Arthur TX to come back to Dallas. It is heavy and can handle strong winds with ease. Changes lanes with ease, barely turning the steering wheel. I added run deflectors on all windows because if it is raining when you go through the drive through at a fast food restaurant you will get wet. When the rain hits the front window it does not distort your vision. I am a cup holder person, I have three middle console and one on each door. I have used the console as a cooler when traveling to keep sandwiches cool. You wrap an ice pack in a plastic bag and sit sandwich on top of ice pack. I love the space, no closeness of passengers. Trunk holds a lot of stuff. I like that it tells you when something is wrong and where it is. I love every aspect of this model of car.

Old reliable should be the nickname of the Altima because It can take you places

This car is very reliable. I've had it for 10 years and it's been great. Obviously as it ages problems come along like engine issues and battery replacements but that is typical of a car. It's big enough for a family of 4 but small enough to be efficient. One major issue I've had are faulty sensors for oil changes and engine services so that is something that needs to be looked out for. The cloth seats provide decent comfort and the technology isn't exactly up to date but it has a CD player and an AUX plug. A positive of the car is the large amount of cup holders which is 10 in the entire car. There is a push to start function with a keyless remote. One downside is if you lose the remote you cannot start the car and also if the remote is left in the car, the car will not lock.

Be cautious of transmission issues if buying a Nissan Altima used

I purchased my vehicle used with a little over 110,000 miles on it. I'm sure if purchased new the consumer experience would be different. For me this car has been problematic since I purchased it 4 yrs ago. I started having issues with the transmission slipping after only 2 mos. The electric system is also screwy. For example my radio worked for the first two years then quit for the next two. About a year ago for no reason whatsoever it started working again. The air conditioner started go off and on working at sometimes and not at others. I will say the gas mileage was excellent until this year and though the transmission started slipping 5yrs ago my car is just now in its death throes. If bought new and properly maintained it seems to me like this could be a tough car.

A very nice car that holds up well!

I have owned my car for 10 years now. I only have 49, 000 miles on it. The tires are the originals. I did have to replace the connection for the car to start 2 years ago. I push the button and the brake to start the car. The major problem for the past 2 years has been the light that is supposed to come on when the tire pressure is low. I have had sensors replaced, but the light stays on all of the time. I just check the pressure myself instead of paying more money for this. The last time I brought it in, the men working on the tires did damage to the lug nuts and I ended up paying $100+ to get the problems fixed. I complained to the company and they did cover it. I really love this car.

Nissan Altima is a good, reliable car.

I really like that the car is a push to start - I have only had a few problems with my steering wheel being locked and the car will not start. The car is also very roomy and has enough space even if 5 people are riding in the car. The heat and air works well and works quickly and I also really enjoy the sunroof. It is not the best on gas, but it is not horrible either. I get between 20 -25 miles to the gallon. The gas tank is very large though, it holds around 18 gallons. The car is very reliable - I have never had really bad problems with it and I have over 120, 000 miles on it. Overall, I think it is a great, simple sedan!

- Kayla M

An interesting and far looked over detail is the spacious and lit up glove box.

My vehicle is very reliable and easily managed. The trunk holds quite a bit despite it being a sedan, on multiple occasions it's held camping gear, tailgating coolers and canopies, beach items, you name it. The seats are very comfortable and the backseat has a lot of legroom! The speakers have good bass and the radio console is easy to use whether you're listening to local channels or have a phone hooked up via aux cord. I have been driving this car for almost 4 years and the only problem I've run into was one of the engine cylinders misfiring. An easy fix once I took it to a repair shop but I've had no other problems since.

2008 Nissan Altima review

2008 Nissan Altima is a great car its reliable, good gas mileage, roomy, trunk is big..but it's not really comfortable. It has an aux cord plug in but it breaks very easy. Can play CDs am/FM radio. Can go from automatic to slap shift which is great. I personally don't like that it's not all wheel drive or have 4 wheel drive..the car is horrible in the snow and rain. I personally do not like the car..it's to small for my family, the seats are not comfortable, the car seat leave marks on the back seat, I would rather have Bluetooth than the aux port. But overall I'm not a fan of the vehicle but I'm sure others would love it

Durable, dependable, sleek and reliable

My car is dependable, beautiful, safe and reliable. I will always buy Nissan's after owning this Altima for nearly 10 years and it is still in great condition. I had one of the first push button start cars among people I knew back in 2009 and it has never given me a problem. I love the features like the large trunk, the 60/40 split seat in the back and the space and comfort of the front seats. I will be handing down my car to my teenager when she can drive and I will be buying another Nissan in the next year or so! Other than regular maintenance and tires, I have only had to take her in ONCE for a fixing!

Push to start with keyless entry.

My vehicle is now 10 years old and I am just starting to have issues. I had to replace the compressor and I had an air leak due to leaky valves that don't cost much to replace. My car is very reliable I have driven it across many states with over 18 hr drive times and it never gave me any problems. It is comfortable for a single person since it is a 2 door car. It does sit low to the ground. I love my sunroof and the keyless entry feature. My favorite part of my car is the push to start. I love not having to dig in my purse for my keys as long as the fob is nearby, I can open my doors and start my car.

2008 Nissan Altima review.

I am pleased with the quality of my car. I bought it in 2007 and I still drive it daily. Its roomy enough for 3 in the backseat to sit comfortably. Spacious enough in the front as well. I love the steering wheel music controls and also the start push button. The only issue I have had is every once in a while the steering wheel locks up when I try to start it and it wont start. This happens about once or twice a year. The way to "unlock" the steering wheel is to quickly turn the steering wheel back and forth a few times forcefully. It works but its a nuisance when it does happen.

How reliable and safe it is.

My Nissan Altima just it 100, 000 miles and has never broke down. It is very trustworthy and can always get you where you need to go. The seats are very comfortable, and it may seem small on the outside, but there is plenty of room for five people to use seatbelts. The trunk is large and room, and can easily fit 4 suitcases plus bags. I live in the mountains, and I never have a problem with my car getting up steep hills or around tight curves. The best part about the car is that you do not have to use the gas pedal much, once you are going, you keep going.

- Timothy G

Nissan Altima one of the few cars that will outlast you.

It is still running never had any major problems oil changed on time new tires every once in a blue brakes and suspension redone since 2008 is not bad only 60k miles on it. Daily driven season on gas can go 85 miles or more on 1 tank of gas and still have about half a tank left to make the trip back if needed. Seats are ok nothing too special. Comes with Bose sound system and it sounds great also has aux outlet and 2 outlets for car chargers. The dash has a orange tint not too bad on the eyes. Great trunk space can fit everything reasonable.

- Anthony R

1. It is reliable. 2. The black paint job is poor quality & it is easy to customize.

Because I bought it second hand, there has been some minor issues with the breaks and windows. As of right now my driver's window does not work. It is reliable however, and performs well. It basically gets me to and for work and other places. I have also noticed that the paint job on most Nissans (black) are of poor quality. The paint is already fading on the roof and trunk. Also, the rims are not even covered in chrome, it is actually plastic! Discovered this after piece broke off while driving. As of right now I like the no key feature.

- Amanda L

I find it very interesting that a 10 year old car can be in such good shape.

The low tire pressure light has been on since I got it. But, the tire pressure was checked and it is fine. It is just annoying to see that on for no reason. Might be a faulty sensor. I am really not sure. Other than that, the car is a good car. It is ok on gas. Takes about $40 to fill the tank. And I can literally drive an entire two weeks off of a tank of gas. I get regular oil changes and other required maintenance. I treat my car like a baby. I have had it since February 2018. So, not too shabby for a 10 year old car.

- Dom M

Altima's are good running cars with few mechanical problems.

I own a 2008 Nissan Altima that I have had no problems with other than needing to put brakes on it when it got to about 70, 000 miles. It has been very reliable, always started and gets about 26 miles to the gallon. It has a very smooth ride though I wish it were a bit quieter on the road it is still better than other cars I have owned. It has a keyless entry, you carry a remote with you. I am not real thrilled with that, I have had one remote stop working on me so I only have 1 left and they are expensive to replace.

- Kimberly R

Perfect car for a new driver.

This vehicle is extremely reliable as long as you take care of it. Keep up on the oil changes and watch the power steering fluid. I had only one major problem with this car which was a part that carried the electric signal from the start button to my engine, but compared to most fixes it was somewhat cheap (160). I have had this car for a while and I am in love with the heated seats and moonroof, power windows and aux port. She is a beautiful car and is nice for long drives since it has cruise control.

- Jalen B

My car is a Nissan Altima coupe that was made in 2008.

I have a 2008 Nissan Altima coupe and I absolutely love it! If you are in the market for a car I would definitely look into getting a Nissan because of the reliability and performance. The gas mileage is great, it gets about 26 mpg in the city and around 30 mpg on highway so you do not have to worry about filling up that often. The gas tank in my car is on the bigger side, around 20 gallons, so it is a little more expensive to fill up but in my personal opinion is it well worth it for the car!

- Emily O

My vehicle has amazing leather seats and holds gas great.

The vehicle does not really give me any issues. It is very reliable the only problem it has given me is with my air. Which I really need especially in the summer. Every time I go to get it fixed it messes back up like 2 weeks later. I might have to take it to someone else. My car has leather seats which is good unless it is very hot but it does not hold stains or smells. It also holds gas very good it does not take much to fill it up. I could put like 40 dollars in there to fill it up.

- Sheila D

Amazing car, but very low to the ground.

I have been driving my Nissan for around 4 and a half years, and it is a very good car. The only real issue that I have had with the car is that the driver's side electrical door lock mechanism stopped working around 100, 000 mi and needed to be replaced. Otherwise, it is very reliable with regular maintenance. As far as comfort, the only complaint that I have is how low to the ground it is. When driving at night, it can be difficult to see due to taller oncoming vehicles' lights.

- Kaitlyn P

How the backseats fall down so the trunk is much bigger.

My Nissan Altima do you only thing I dislike is the color it is red. My car runs great I haven't had any issues with it I maintain my car as needed oil changes are done every three months I just got a brand new set of tires for it. It is a smooth ride, the motor is not loud. It is not too big it is not too small. I wish the backseat was bigger for a two door. It is very hard for anyone to sit back there and be comfortable. Other than that I am very happy with my vehicle.

- Mary G

When it runs. It runs great keyword when.

My car has every recall I could find wrong with it and when I call to check with the dealership they say there are no recalls on my car. My whole dash is literally melting into a sticky mess. The valves are shot keeps overheating driver hood - locks by itself without touching any buttons periodically. Have replaced radiator condenser coil packs valves spark plugs battery air filter water pump radiator neck filler- just to name a few and only had it for 14 months.

- Jessica D

The Nissan Altima is very spacious and has a big trunk.

My vehicle has been very dependable and reliable. The tank holds a lot of gas, so unless you have a far commute it will last a long time. There was a problem with the cooling system of my car and I had to buy a new cooling pipe. My mechanic said it happens often with Nissan cars. Since then no other problems have risen. I have put 250 thousand miles on the car, and as long as you keep up with the tune ups and oil changes the car will last you a very long time.

- Chance C

It has a fantastic Bose system:).

I love my car. The leather seats are comfortable and heat up when it is cold out. The ac/heat system works very well. The Bose system is my favorite part, listening to the radio is amazing! I also love that it is a hybrid, saves on money. It is getting kind of old, so some things are not as functional as they once we're, I cannot move the mechanical driver's seat.. So hopefully no one tall wants to drive it. And of course it needs other maintenance.

- Kristen M

2008 Nissan Altima: nice 4 door family sedan.

My car has about 140, 000 miles and is in decent shape as long as you provide routine care. Within the first 3 years, the transmission had to be replaced, it was still under warranty. My brakes locked up to where I could not start the car, had to repair that. Also, 3 out of my 4 automatic door locks went out at the same time. Quoted over $800+ to replace, I just manually lock them. It has nice leather seats, nice Bose system and pretty comfortable.

Previously owned a 2011 Nissan Altima 2.5S and would definitely own one again.

I've owned a 2011 Nissan Altima 2.5S in the past, and the crankshaft sensors kept going bad, even with replacement parts from our local Nissan dealership. When the sensor would fail, the car would not start at all. Other than having to replace a $10 part every couple of years, it was generally very reliable, comfortable, and got me where I need to go. I bought another Nissan Altima (2008) and have not had any issues with it. They're good vehicles.

- Tyson W

The problems that I have with my Nissan are really unexpectedly for this brand.

My vehicle does not perform as well as I would like for it to. I start having problems at 116 k miles. The exhaust system has malfunctions, the interior is cracked up( the dash) it is also melted, do not know what the material is but it is not durable. My air compressor also went out at 128k miles. Also seem like the paint faded quick. It is not what I expected out of a Nissan. Very disappointed, I will most definitely not purchase another one.

- Laura F

A car that was built for endurance.

This is the most durable car that I have ever driven. I have unfortunately been in a couple accidents but the car has had no major damage whatsoever. The parts are relatively easy to find anywhere and the annual maintenance cost is very reasonable. I have never had any problems with the vehicle as well and I am coming up to 190,000 miles with this vehicle. Truly remarkable and dependable. I am definitely considering buying another Nissan soon.

- Gabrielle C

Best vehicle to purchase and own.

My car is very reliable and dependable. I have never had any problems at all. I have all leather interior and it is in perfect condition. I have a sunroof and heated seats. I love the heated seat feature in the winter. My car also has a push to start feature. That is a nice feature to have so you do not have to dig your keys out of your purse. It drives very smooth and it is very comfortable. It also has dual heating and cooling controls.

- Jeanette E

The airbag lights go on and off at times and the tire pressure light.

I do not have many complaints except that after several years of having this vehicle the starter button needed to be replaced since the engine would not rev up when started but all you had to do was purchase the starter button, get it replaced and you were ready to go also the dashboard gets very sticky on a very hot day and cracks, but when I too it to the dealership they said they didn't need to replace it so I still have that problem.

08 Nissan Altima runs like a champ. Minor issues with AC, paint, and interior.

I bought my car used about 3 years ago. The previous owner put on new tires, replaced the windshield, and got the oil changed before selling it to me. Since buying the car, the only mechanical problems I've had is with the air conditioner. One of the wires were loose causing the compressor to not turn on. Other than that, I've had some minor issues with the paint fading and the interior cracking. But the car runs smoothly and I love it.

- Alyssa P

Not my favorite vehicle by far but has a good sound system.

Dash is melting transmission is slipping I've put 1400 dollars in it and it is broke down again new radiator new valves 2x new coil packs 2x new water pump new condenser ac blows half the time would not buy another one unless it was brand new I bought a pre owned I've only had it a year. Though most of the problems are on a recall list and when I called about the recall I was told my car wasn't on the list according to the vin number.

- Jessica D

My vehicle is reliable, economical, a I enjoy driving it.

I enjoy driving my Altima, especially on the freeway. It is good on gas even after 9 years. It has been a very reliable car no major problems so far. There are many attachments that are so convenient such as not having to dig out your key to drive the car, also I do not have t be afraid of locking my keys in the car. But these are just a few of the features I love about my car. I continue to be very happy with my Nissan Altima. .

- Connie S

It is a fuel economic, smooth transmission and reliable car.

It is fuel economic, running smooth and has continuously variable transmission options. Transmission adjust based upon your car speed. It does not make bad sound while running. You can break very smoothly wherever need. I never had a problem with since I purchased used car from the previous owner. It a car you can rely on it. Hope anyone can like this car. My experience is very good and I am pleased it Nissan Altima 2008 2. 5 s.

- John H

Decent and reliable value for the price.

The car has operated pretty well over the 7 years that I have had it. I have only had to replace a small belt in that time frame. One of my issues that i've noticed around 5 years of owning the car (about 9 years after the car year) is some of the electronics coming and going. . The passenger window control does not work anymore and the parking brake light is almost constantly on (even though parking brake is not engaged).

- Tyler M

I like the gas mileage on the car!

The main problem that I have had with my vehicle is that after 2 hours straight of driving it, the engine starts to overheat. This causes the car to slow down on its own to make it safer. I love the seats, radio area, and pretty much everything else about the car. It holds pretty good gas mileage too! If anything is wrong, Nissan is pretty helpful with figuring it out. I had to get my tires aligned because they were out also.

- Morgan D

It has a great engine, so you can really accelerate your way onto the freeway

I love it because it looks nice, is reliable, and is a good size. My biggest complaint at this point is that it's getting old and so is starting to require more expensive repairs, and also it's old enough that it doesn't have the technology like Bluetooth or a backup camera that would be nice these days. But overall, I'm very happy with this car - it was very affordable, and has been very reliable and safe all these years.

- Xena X

Great car, worth your money

I really love this car. It is very reliable and has had almost no problems in the time I have had it. The size is great, small enough to be convenient and good for city driving, but big enough that it is comfortable inside and big enough to transport multiple people or items. I wish the gas mileage was a little better but it is still good. I've had this car living in a rural area and a big city and it works great for both.

- Allison H

The heated seats and eight cup holders

The car is really reliable and is excellent on gas as well. It's can go for many miles on a full tank. It takes about $45-50 to fill the car up but it last a long time. The seated are comfortable. The front seats have an option where they can have choice to have them heated. Nice sound system. It has a 6 CD player in the radio, and aux and two ports to plug in the car charger. Also have 8 cup holders in total

- Tay B

After 10 years, I am told how great the engine and system as a whole is.

My Altima is great and super reliable. It is comfortable, dependable, the features and settings are easy to use, and I continue to drive my Altima for longer than expected. It is been a great car to me and the maintenance and upkeep have been minimal. No blind spots in the car like others may have with new updates to the body style. I hope to drive my Altima as long as possible and over 200k miles.

- Megan S

The best car to get you far.

The car is great price. It is extremely reliable. The car has been in our family for 11 years, it's never been in an accident, it runs great. There are over 140,000 miles on it and it still runs as good as it did when I purchased it. Maintenance is minimal. Standard oil changes every 3,000 miles, etc. In the 11 years it's been in our family there have been very few parts that needed replacing.

- Kate W

Good comfortable car that has lasted.

I have loved the Nissan Altima and it has been a good car for us. It is a comfortable vehicle and I like it is look. We haven't had very many problems with it but I have heard from friends that there is some part of the vehicle (I believe it has to do with the steering) that has been known to brake without warning. This has not been the case for us though and I have enjoyed driving the car.

- Emily R

My 2008 Nissan Altima is a great vehicle. It has taken my family and I on a wonderful road journey for years. With safe, outstanding travel there and back. I have been driving my Nissan since 2009 and have replaced the transmission in 2018. Which is great. I have not had to replace the Air conditioning system at all. This has surprised my personal mechanic. I love driving my Nissan Altima.

- Jackie B

The comfort of driving, the features, the roominess... Overall satisfied.

I have had problems with having to replace all four coil ignitions. I enjoy the features that is part of the car. It is a very comfortable car to door and smooth, the most comfortable car I have ever owned and driven. It has good pick-up for a 4 cylinder and plenty of space including the trunk. So far I have no complaints about the reliability. I would definitely purchase another Altima.

- Andrea H

The ac is required to be turned off if you do not want it on always.

So far I haven't had any problems with my car that I didn't cause. The fuel mileage is wonderful for a commuter car, roughly 28-32 mpg, and it is a full sized sedan so there is room for days. I can even lay the driver seat 180 degrees flat. Some models offer Bluetooth and reverse camera but I am good with the more basic one. Definitely recommend this car to anyone wanting an awesome car.

- Leigh L

I love my car even with the issues. 2 issues otherwise performs great.

I only have two issues with my car the tire air pressure light came on about six months after I got the car, and for some reason when it rains water gets caught in all my doors but they drip out quickly. Other than that the car runs so smooth, brakes everything is very reliable. I bought the car used and I've had it for 4 years approaching 90,000 miles and I have only had those issues.

- Tiffany R

I love my car despite some of its imperfections.

Problems would include the tire pressure sensors, I've had them fixed multiple times but it stays on. Performance, reliability, comfort are all excellent. It does lack in some features, such as rear view cameras and a working AUX port for the radio. There are some bad blind spots, but since I've driven the car for a decade, I can find my way around them. It is been a great car.

- Jennifer B

This is a great beginner car to get you to point A to point B.

Well I got this car mostly because the wrack my last car. So I just needs to get something cheap and reliable. That is when I bought the Altima and so far I have had no problems with the car a all and Its ten years old, yet it still runs pretty smooth. It is just your basic car like any other nothing to special except that it is a coup and to me that is always a bonus to me.

- William G

Economical affordable in good running.

My car is a 2008 Nissan Altima 2. 5 s sedan 4 cylinder it is great on gas has power windows power locks it is equipped with airbags haven't had too many problems with you know you are just your regular oil change regular tune-ups the overall tune-ups you know replacing gasket seals and that is about it but nothing major struts but the ac did go out and got a replaced.

- Louis L

What is great about my awesome Altima.

I love this car. It rides good, drives good and really handles the road. I have a 4 cylinder but it has all the power anyone would ever need. I can safely pass 2 vehicles on the road if the need arises. It is a beautiful car and looks fabulous when it is clean. It gets great gas mileage and is easy to keep maintained. I would definitely buy another Altima any day!

- Angela A

The title of my review would be the sleek champagne.

My car is very sleek. I really don't have any problems with my car except the battery corrodes easily. You will need to check the battery for corrosion monthly. My car performance is very smooth, my car rides very well. My car features are very basic based on the style of my car. Nissan cars a very good on fuel and reliable. I would highly recommend this brand.

- Willet H

Sporty, fun and yet practical Car

I have had very few problems with my car. It has very quick "pick up" and therefore allows me to get in and out of tight situations very easily. It is very comfortable and sporty. It has great features although it does not have the backup screen or navigation GPS in it. The only thing that could be improved possibly would be is that there are some blind spots.

Nissan Altima: A Long-Lasting, High-Quality Car

I have loved my Nissan Altima, and I have found it to be very reliable. It is a comfortable, spacious car, and it has a number of amenities. My family has owned and driven the car for nearly its entire life and have had no serious issues (and relatively few repairs). The design is sleek and continues to look new and modern, though it has been a decade.

- Jane D

This car is very useful and a good beginner car.

The car runs very smooth. Gas could be a problem if you drive a lot and to far places. It's very easy to drive and is very comfy. The back can get crowded at times. Cruise control is available and very useful. It doesn't have a sunroof however. One thing I noticed is the accessibility to everything under the hood. Working on this car will be very easy to do.

- Collin V

I have a 2008 Altima coupe. It has a sunroof.

I have had the car for some years now and it has been very reliable. My only issue is and I have never seen this before is my dashboard melted. I live in the south so it gets hot but I didn't think that was possible. The dial to change the side mirrors came out and my back window leaks which is also strange BC I drive a coupe so it's never been opened.

- Lauren G

It is a very smooth drive.

The dashboard is melted because of exposure to direct sunlight. The a/c goes out frequently and costs a lot to fix every time. The two doors make it difficult to travel with multiple people. Also, the tire pressure light is always on all the time even when I fix the tire pressure in my car the light stays on, apparently it is an issue with Nissan.

- Sydney S

Nissan the right choice for everyone.!

Nissan is my favorite car.. Giving the choice between any other brand. Nissan Altima and or maxima are my most favorable vehicles.. They are definitely dependable and do very well on gas and over all good and easy to drive as well as comfort not to small not too big.. It's the perfect size car for most.. I wouldn't choose any other over Nissan..

- Erica M

Comfortable, stylish, reliable.

Honestly, this is the best car I have ever had. I bought it totaled and had it rebuilt and it is still a really great car. I haven't had any problems other than small maintenance issues. I had a tire that was loosing air, but my tire pressure light came on so I am not mad at all! This car is super comfortable and sleek and absolutely wonderful!

- Emma B

After shopping around for months, I chose my Altima, and couldn't be happier.

Amazing handling in curves even when taken faster than advised. Good acceleration, even on top end. Good on gas. Tons of modifications available to make it however you want it. Holds it is value very well. My only complaint is that I tend to hydroplane when on highways in water, although I live in the country and we do not have the best roads.

- Sara C

08 Nissan Altima. 2008 Nissan Altima has major transmission issues.

Transmission went out once already, not a reliable vehicle. No recall on transmission but extended the warranty mileage to 120,000. No where on website did it volunteer this information. Had to google it and call corporate. Trunk light out. Not a normal bulb. The car is oxidizing and we don't live near water. . Company not to truthful either.

- Michelle M

It is a full size family car. There's plenty of room in the back seat to fit car seats and other miscellaneous things.

The only thing I dislike about my vehicle was about two years into having it, I had to get my transmission replace. Now every year during the summer, I have to get my transmission fluid flushed and refilled so that it can run smoothly. Other than that, I love my vehicle. It gets great gas mileage and the maintenance is easy to keep up with.

- Julie Y

Significant Rouge Features

I have no complaints about my vehicle. It has a smooth ride. The vehicle is very reliable and is comfortable. This car is great in bad weather. This car has several cool features. My favorite feature is 4 wheel drive. The car also has great Bluetooth ability. Drivers will be able drive and talk on their phones without using a mobile device.

- Valerie D

Put money aside from every paycheck for car Maintenance.

The car drives well but there are a lot of problems occurring recently. I've had to get new brakes, tires, rotators, back-to-back oil changes and extensive engine work. I've purchased affordable replacements and the expensive replacements and both seem not to last as long. I don't do long distance driving just work, home and to run errands.

- Kai S

The main highlight of my vehicle, I think, is the miles per gallon it gets.

I have had no major issues with my vehicle. It is comfortable and drives smoothly. The gas mileage is great and I love that, even being 11 years old, my car still looks nice and not as dated as some cars look that are the same year as mine. It also has a nice stereo system, even though it's not super fancy, it still produces quality sound.

- Natasha A

I am not a sales person so I don't see why I need to write sales reviews.

There's isn't anything not to love about this car. Everything is perfect, rear view camera glitches every now and then. The car is pretty fast, the tech is basic in my car but everything works great. Doesn't have blind spot detection bit you can always purchase a vehicle with all the technology in it. I chose basic because it was cheaper.

- Ana T

Altima the car that lasts.

Reliable, it is a comfortable car for a small family. As my children have grown it is no longer a choice for road trips. Interior leather and dash look good still even after 10 years. It has seat warmers, radio and cruise control on the steering column. Not major mechanical problems at 120,000. Normal maintenance repairs and tire change.

- Sara D

Altima rocks for families and friends with plenty of room for fur buddies also.

The Altima is a nice full size vehicle with plenty of legroom no matter how tall or big you are and it also has plenty of storage room with a big trunk space and back seats you can recline down for bigger items it is good on gas and has plenty of power the negatives is the rear view windshield is hard to see out of for short individual.

- Tina G

it is excellent on gas mileage, and has air bags all over the place.

I love my Altima, it gets me where i need to go and is super good on gas mileage. I can typically get close to 500 miles to the tank which is excellent. Only thing i wish that i had was bluetooth connectivity without having to plug into the AUX cord spot. Other than that, i have no complaints, it gets me and my kids where we need to go.

- laurie b

Great vehicle and great gas mileage.

I have had my Nissan Altima car for about 2 years now and I have not had any problems with it. My car runs really smooth and it is very manageable. My car also gives me great gas mileage. That is one of the best things, that I do not have to spend so much money on gas. My car is a 2008 and it still runs really good without any issues.

- Flor B

2008 Nissan Altima coupe review.

The car is reliable good on gas never have had any problems other than the normal keep up. I would recommend this car to anyone especially for a first time car buyer it is comfortable easy to drive and features Bose Audio leather seats a sunroof heated seats and so much more! I love my Nissan Altima and would recommend it to anyone.

- Bill L

Great gas mileage, great space especially if going out of town on vacation.

Definitely a great car, gets great gas mileage. Seats are cloth and very comfortable (wish they were heated though). Decent size as well, decent amount of space in the backseat as well as the trunk. The only problem I have seen with mine and heard of in others, is the transmission will sometimes slip when the car is switching gears.

- Ashley S

Reliable, fun to drive, and cute. Huge trunk, new tires

I like my car. I bought it used in 2010 and the mileage was under 30,000. One of my best friends worked at the dealership and I got a great deal. For a few years now I've had no payments - the loan was paid in full. That's been nice but this past year I've had a lot of problems with the car. Time to get a new (used) car, I think.

- Sheila O

It is a Very economical vehicle and I recommend it highly

The 2008 Nissan Altima that I drive is a great car both in value and profound I would recommend it to anyone looking for an everyday economic vehicle. I will hopefully have this car for a long time and would consider getting another one after this. I only wish it was a little higher off the ground but other than that, it's great!

- Steve L

A dud- reliable brand but not this car

Replaces transmission and read online that model and year has had issues...but no recall so i had to pay for the transmission. I am having transmission issues again now. Water gets caught in the door when it rains and if i go through a puddle too high water come s in the through the hood of the car in under the steering wheel

- Roxanne G

It is a good vehicle. Dependable. Comfortable.

I haven't had any major problems. It is fairly comfortable. It has held up very well. There is not a lot of room to haul stuff if you have a stroller. This is the biggest downfall. I would like more room for vacationing with a stroller. The air doesn't circulate well enough in the back. My son gets really hot in his car seat.

- Jennifer B

Great car for a young professional

The durability of the car is great, but the frame is weaker than I hoped for. I continue to get dings and dents all over my car just from things like going to the store and having someone open their door into mine. Mechanically I have never had issues. It runs great and has been a very dependable car for me and my husband.

- Alex C

Review for Nissan Altima: Great car for winters and holds up well

My 2008 Altima is a decent car. It runs very smoothly and I have not had many issues with the upkeep of the car. It is just very long in length. I have had to replace the entire back underneath of the car about a year out of purchase but other than that it has been very reliable. Drives great in the winters as well.

- Anna P

My 2008 Altima still rides smoothly after 11 years.

My parents bought my car for me when I was a junior in high school so I have had my 2008 Nissan Honda since 2011. I have had minor problems such as having to replace brakes and air filters. I will always give Nissan Altima a thumbs up. It has been a very reliable car and plan on driving it until I am no longer able to.

- Erin D

Very nice and trust worthy car.

My car drives very well. Very smooth. It wastes a lot of gas. It is very comfortable when I drive and it has AUX and an mobile Charger. Has room for a lot of CD’s and is very spacious. It is very pretty looking. I have taken my car on road trips. The furthest trip was from Boca Raton, Florida to Fontana, California.

- Kelsey R

A great first car! Very reliable, easy to control, and great gas mileage!

A Nissan Altima is a great first car to own. The breaks are responsive but not too responsive, and it is able to increase speed without much effort by your foot. The gas mileage is impressive to me, as I usually fill up once every two weeks. The car is up to date, just does not have touch screen which would be nice.

- Katie J

Love my Nissan! Safe and smooth.

This vehicle is so nice. I feel really safe when driving it, and I really like the cruise control. The price was not unattainable, and it rides really smoothly. I have not had any problems with this car! It also gets great gas mileage, which is a plus, especially compared to other cars that I have owned in the past.

- Anna C

The car is has great fuel.

The car is in great shape. The fuel is great. The engine is working well. The car is in good condition. I plan on buying a brand new car soon. The quality is what I am looking for now. I am save my money to buy a new car. I do not much about the car features yet. I am working on it. Thank you. Thank you. Thank you.

- Tyson T

It looks very nice. It is a reliable care. I would recommend it if anyone were looking.

I like the reliability. We had issues with the transmission that have mostly been covered by Nissan's extended warranty on the transmission. I'm at 140,000 miles now with very few problems. My biggest complaint other than the tranny is the seats. They aren't very comfortable and the foam has really broken down.

- Donny H

Nissan Altima best car ever!

I love my car. It drives very well, is easy to turn and it gets really good gas per mile. I haven't had any issues with it breaking down or needing any repairs. I love it. The seats are very comfortable and there's enough cup holders for every seat. Great car for road trips. Very nice sound system including an aux.

- Alyssa T

Its a sporty little car.

It's falling apart. Have had several problems since I purchased it 2 years ago, although I do not believe it to be the original state of the car as it has a rebuilt title. If I had purchased it brand new or from a reputable dealer, I believe that I wouldn't be having the problems that I am having with the vehicle.

- Heather W

very reliable and very comfortable for a family

vehicle is made with safety features in the front end in case of an accident, the front end will arch instead on go in to your lap. Seats a family of 5 comfortably. Never had many problems with my car other than my transmission but I'm unsure if that is because of the car or because of the driving that its endured

- rebecca A

The Nissan Altima is a very practical and reliable car for me.

It is extremely reliable for us. It is relatively good on gas but only if the premium gas is used. It is pretty roomy for its size and very comfortable. We have had an issue with the transmission a few times. It has the basic features such as power seats, mirrors, windows, etc. It is Bluetooth compatible as well.

- Lora G

Basic car info that I think is important.

It is very good at making you feel comfortable and safe! It gets pretty decent gas mileage although it has risen thanks to the California gas tax. It has not had any real problems aside from some minor inconveniences. An example of this would be squeaky brakes, panel underneath car came loose and started to drop.

- Mother F

Reasons why you should buy a Nissan!

Its got a roomy trunk and back seat and it has a lot Of zip. Easy to drive and manage and to park, so far Only had to do maintenance such as battery, brakes and tires. Nissan seems to back up most things except a hole in my catalytic converter that garage told me should be covered but Nissan refused to cover it.

- Gail S

My Nissan a car that. Is reliable.

My car drives very well meaning it drives smoothly over rough roads. If I have to make a sudden stop my car brakes very quickly. In cold weather when there is a lot of frost, my defrost system is very reliable where as I am not waiting too long to heat up or defrost. Last but not least my car is good on gas.

- Anita G

Nissan Altima 2008 - fantastic and reliable car.

My Altima has been a good, reliable car. Very minimal maintenance issues have happened. Breaks tend to go out often, this could be just from my driving. Vehicle is compact but we have been able to fit 4 people and a big dog in it for long travel. Gas mileage is great even after many years of wear and tear.

- Lupita W

Nissan- good looking but unreliable

This car was great at first, but a month into buying all but one windows stopped working. This is very undesirable especially in hot summer days. Also my radiator continuously has issues and I'm constantly putting antifreeze and water. I love the look of this car but do not like the overall working of it.

- Lauren B

Clean, drives great and reliable

Overall has been a good car. The ac has gone out 3 times, and the front axles 1 time along with the rear windows no longer rolling up from driver side button..Besides that it has 136k miles so far and no major issues. Paint has lasted, leather seats have lasted the engine and transmission are doing great.

- Ashley L

I love the fact that it is not a full key.

Even though I picked a 4 instead of a full 5 for loving my car is because my heart lies with jeep and that is what I want to get next but I do love my car. I love how even the basic car and not the unlimited is still great running and looking. Outside and especially inside. The car runs nice and smooth.

- Eleanor D

Is Nissan a good car to invest in?

I do not have too much problems with my car. The one thing that gets too me is the amount of gas it burns. Other than that it is a pretty safe reliable car. If anyone is thinking of buying a Nissan I'll say go for it. You will not be disappointed. I am glad I purchased this car so far so good thank you!

- Danielle S

I like the push button start option.

The problems I see with my car would be the way the middle section of the car is. I feel like it get all backed up and it feels tight besides that everything is good. It has lots of space, I like the push button start option and the AUX cord. The other inconvenient is where the charging location is at.

- Karla M

A reliable car that will get you where you are going.

The car drives well and has not caused me any trouble. I don't personally find anything exceptional about it, and do not think it has any sort of wow factor features. I enjoy the push to start option, and the trunk is very roomy. I have not had any issues being able to fit what I need into the vehicle.

- Nicole E

Nissan Altima aren't that bad

My car used to have transmission problems. Now that everything is fine, it drives well. The only problem is that it runs out of gas super quick. I would definitely recommend the Nissan Altima to be a starter car for a teenager. It will definitely be within your price range because of the age of the car

- Joshua P

Sensible car that also gives you the cool sports car feel.

Very realizable vehicle that has get up and go. I am very pleased with the. Gas mileage. Rides smooth and a very sleek looking vehicle. Not easy to get people in and out of the back seat if you have the coup but surprisingly spacious once you get back there. Decent truck space and comfortable seating.

- Samantha E

2008 Nissan Altima pearl white exterior with black leather seats.

I absolutely love my Altima. I have only had minor issues with my car since I have owned it. Just the normal wear and tear of a vehicle that is 10 years old. It has always been a reliable vehicle and the comfort of the leather seats are amazing. Great size. Has a spacious trunk. Get great gas mileage.

- Sara S

It is very luxurious and picks up speed quickly.

My car body Is very nice and luxurious. It has a lot of miles on it (162 thousand) it still runs great and is very smooth on sharp turns and tight areas to fit in. The only downside is that it takes up a lot of oil. I feel I have to change it more than average but could also be that the car is older.

- Shannon C

Great gas mileage. Luxury feeling.

I love my Altima. Gas mileage is amazing. It feels like I am riding in a luxury vehicle. I always recommend people buy them. They are affordable, with the feeling of luxury. I have had no issues with my 2008 Altima, whatsoever. It is absolutely amazing. I'd buy another one for the gas mileage alone.

- Hannah S

The rear view camera is the most interesting detail

My vehicle comes with vehicle warranty. It has a rear view camera, automatic drive, etc. As far as problems I've recently had to replace the alternator as well as tires. I keep up with my routine maintenance such as oil changes and tune ups. My vehicle is really great on gas. I use premium gasoline

- Shikara N

Stylish and roomy vehicle

Very reliable. Very stylish and updated interior. Comfortable seats. Wears well. Room for 5. With good legroom. Plenty of storage with middle console and glove box. Large trunk. Power windows, locks, adjustable seating. Would recommend this to anyone who is looking for a long lasting reliable care.

- April G

The vehicle is blue gray with a very sporty look to it and quite reliable.

The dashboard of the car has defects as others have experienced as well. Such as, the dashboard gives off a reflection and a glare off to the windshield of the car when driving. Therefore, it is a safety issue with the car of this model type. But overall performance and comfort of the car is good.

- Nelly O

Well constructed & out lasts American made vehicles.

Very well made, dependable economical, original parts last long time. Great vehicle. Keeps it is value, paint lasts, motor & a/c, transmission all exceptional. Original brakes lasted 95, 000 miles. Can not say enough about these vehicles, they're very well made & out lasts American made vehicles.

- Lillian G

The pain in the rear with the key fob

The battery in my key fob goes dead at least once a month, my back door doesn't work out of nowhere I just couldn't open it nor the nor the extra money to get it fixed. Half the time it doesn't even read my key fob! Great car for a single person but not for a family! Definitely NOT a family car!

- Tiara T

Fun to drive and still nice to look at.

I love my Altima. It has less than 70, 00 miles on it and I have never had a problem. It is fun to drive, it is comfortable and for a 4 cylinder engine it has great acceleration. The resale of a Nissan is great! Although I wouldn't, trade it. Perfect for any age or driver, it still looks modern.

- Wendy R

Vehicle is sturdy and a great every day car.

Car drives great. Is a bit large for the city environment but is generally comfortable. Feels spacious inside for four passengers. Have made several trips up and down the coast and have felt very secure driving in this vehicle. Trunk space is ample. Performs well on the highway and feels strong.

- Brooks B

Very popular car. Excellent performance. Excellent on gas and maintenance.

A very good automobile this is my second Altima Nissan excellent performance, excellent on mileage, excellent on gas, beautiful features you. Cannot drive it and feel on top of the world. Comfortable driving. Excellent maintenance. Very popular car. It has excellent luxuries that can be added.

- Claudia G

It is cool vehicle that will get you very far if you take care of it.

It is the best vehicle for a family. I love the electric seats and windows. Also the big storage space on the trunk. The back seats turn into almost a bed so I can fit more stuff. I also love that my car does not need a lot of maintenance. I have approximately 90,000 miles and have 0 problems.

- mair J

Reliable and great gas mileage.

The gas mileage is great and has lots of space. The trunk fits quite a few items. I do the regular maintenance and have not had any issues. There are lots of cup holders and the console space is nice. It picks up speed quickly. Aside from purchasing tires, no large purchases have been needed.

- Monica A

Very spacious, reliable, family car.

I have only had very few problems with my Altima, aside from regular maintenance. I recently had to replace a cv axle but aside from that it is a really decent vehicle. It is spacious and really good on gas. In my opinion, it is a very reliable car. I would recommend others to purchase one!

- Stephanie W

I love my Nissan Altima, and so will you!!

My car is very reliable and safe. I have had my car for 8 years and only have had to do very little maintenance, and have never been disappointed! I will always choose a Nissan as my car for my family! Nissans have run in my family for the past 30 years, my whole family has each driven one!

- Melissa F

It handles well and is economical in gas mileage.

It performs well not a lot of horsepower but I bought it for economy not sport. It is been very reliable not broken down at all. Clutch went out but it was after 166 thousand miles. It is not very comfortable because it is a two door so hard to get in and out especially with a newborn baby.

- Hector P

Little dependable. Love the sleek lines of the body, which is a coupe.

My Nissan is a reliable and dependable car. I has all the bells and whistles, including heated seats, leather interior, backup camera, great sound system, Bluetooth audio and a 3. 5 engine. Only problems is that it is bad on gas and kind of a small backseat when I pick up my grandchildren.

- Mary R

It isn't perfect, but it's good and cheap. That's enough for me.

It's a really good economic car, if I am being honest. I used to drive a Toyota and it spent more time at the mechanic than on the road. I don't spend much on gas since it's a 4cyl. And it's easy to fix up about any kind of situation and fits 4 large people and a small extra, just in case.

- Amanda Z

2008 black Nissan Altima 4 door.

My car is perfect besides I need to get a part for the windshield wiper fluid. The brakes pads is getting bad so that needs to get fixed. It's a black four door 2008 Nissan Altima I absolutely love it. Everyone should have one. Its very nice. Heated seats. Navigation system, leather seats.

- Megan R

It is very practical. Saves on gas.

I need a new car it is always breaking down. Plus I got it use and it was the cheapest good car I found. Then I am not really a type of person to have that type of model, they tend to break down very often. And it is not like how I dream of having my dream car but it does get me to places!

- Karla C

My car has been a great so far, but I wish I can get another one.

Its ok, I have had some problems with my car. . My transmission without less than six after my purchase. My motor had to be replaced in my car also my main computer box. Now my air conditioning is out. But it's really a good car. If you kept up with you maintaining the car would be fine.

- Kim K

Love it, it is so amazing. I have had no problems with my amazing car.

Very reliable, good on gas, comfortable interior, fast car, performance is great, has cruise control which is nice, amazing ac, good mph, nice stereo system, good radio coverage, easy to use and identify dashboard, nice tires and rims, big trunk, nice back seat area, nice size glove box.

- Jenna W

Nice interior and comfortable vehicle

My vehicle is very nice and comfy. I haven't had any major problems with the car over the years except acid build up on the battery. The inside is very comfortable and is great for road trips. The trunk is spacious. The push to start feature is very convenient and helps to prevent theft.

- Gabby W

Great sleek look. Good gas mileage. Unreliable transmission.

I love my car but it has a lot of transmission issues and there is some lose stuff under the hood that rattles. I wouldn't buy it again but it was my first purchase so its my baby. I like the look and size of the car I like the way the transmission works I just wish it actually worked.

- Savannah B

Interesting detail is the car is not what I expected.

It has too many mechanical problems as soon as the warranty was up it started giving me problems. , Nissan use to be my favorite, but it was made better than it is now. . . My car sounds like an old truck. I have been doing repair work since 116k miles. Not what I expected out of Nissan.

- Laura F

Nonexistent and no not a bad thing.

The car is good its fast reliable cheap gas money is good for you and I don't was the time I was here to pick you off and I was just checking in my email address to you and I can get it back on the way homeless is in a good placement for the night and I will be back at work soon I was.

- Gloria T

I enjoy the performance and handling of the vehicle style and color.

From 2008 to date 2019 I have had 4 tires changed, bought a battery, have had no vehicle mechanical problem, had the right rear marker lamps replaced the vehicle has been dependable and reliable, have had a slight wearing off from the dash cover, good vehicle to own all the way around.

- Frank P

Very popular car low maintenance long-lasting car.

Nissans are dependable, reliable, safe. They handle curves well, good on gas, low on maintenance. It is an extremely popular car so many on the road. I love my Nissan. The look is sleek and sophisticated, they are quiet cars as well. If you take care of them they will take care of you.

- Beth F

It's a beige sedan with a tan leather interior.

The car is very reliable, it has a leather interior and large seats with tons of leg room. It has a Bose sound system which is really nice. My personal vehicle has quite a bit of miles on it, yet is still running well. The heated seats are a nice plus as well, definitely spoiled there.

- Gabby J

Features that are required/appreciated.

Full size car with a lot of legroom. Great features such as sunroof and heated seats. Leather powered seats. Decent trunk space. Dual temperature control. Automatic or manual driving options. A lot of internal storage space on the doors, glove compartment and middle arm rest console.

- J U

Nissan Altima awesome or awesomely reliable.

2008 at 100,000 miles had to change transmission it is currently at 160,000 and drives great with no issues so far, great gas mileage drive everyday too and from work. Drives great in cold and heat with no issues when starting. No other work done since bought and transmission change.

- Derrick M

Sunroof, CD player, backup camera, GPS, leather heated seats.

I love the leather seats and heated seats the sunroof the GPS and backup camera and on board calls Bose 6 CD player the color push button start it ride great it has cruise control volume on steering wheel big trunk power steering it four door seat very comfortable big middle console.

- Ethel B

High quality long lasting reliable vehicle!

It is 11 years old and still drives like new! The interior has taken a beating but still looks like new. I just get it serviced every 4 months and it hasn't had any problems. Gas mileage is good. It is comfortable to drive for long rides. Offers plenty of legroom for tall people.

- Amber L

Very reliable and economical

Side view mirrors don't allow you to see in blind spots. Seats are little uncomfortable. The car engine is economical but could use more power. Factory windshield wipers are not very good. I had to replace them almost immediately. Minor maintenance issues but not many engine issues.

- Raul V

Very reliable car seldom gives me any engine problems

The vehicle is a 2008 Nissan Altima silver in color 4 door and it is very comfortable and drives very smoothly and seldom gives me any trouble. I have had my car for 11 years and I have never had any problems with it other than minor maintenance like battery changes and tire changes

- John S

Very modernized for being an 08.

I bought a used 2008 Nissan Altima with about 80, 000 miles on it. So far, out of all the cars I have had, I love it the most. The space inside is incredible! Also, trunk space is more than enough. Also, maintenance does not cost an arm and a leg. Neither does gas to fill the tank.

- Christian N

It's a great family car! I can fit 3 carseats across in the back seat. In the trunk I can also fit 2 bikes and a stroller!

I like the space and I love that I have a huge trunk! I can fit a ton of stuff in it!! I am not used to the TPMS sensor, I keep having issues with that. I also am getting water in my car from the sunroof, I believe my sunroof drain valves are clogged, so that's a big frustrating!!

- Tiff H

Overall it's a great ride to have for families and does great on long trips.

I have a 08 Nissan Altima it has 160000 miles on it. Runs good. It's a push start keyless entry all electric. Good on gas. I. Have a CD player and radio the only thing wrong it has a air bag recall other than that it's a good ride and would consider it for a family sedan to anyone

- Lacy P

All-round comfort and very spacious.

I have owned three Nissan Altima's and would definitely own more. I love the styling of both the interior and exterior. I am very comfortable and everything is within reach of the driver. The back seat sits 3 children in booster seats comfortably. The trunk space is very adequate.

- Karen R

Nissan Altima very reliable.

My Nissan Altima has been very reliable. My car is now ten years old with 195, 000 miles on it. I have had no major work on my car. Just the basic work like oil changes, tires, etc. I would highly recommend a Nissan Altima. I will definitely be buying another when the time comes.

- Sam R

Nissan Altima, the way to go!

I have a very reliable vehicle. I have had it for about 10 years we bought it brand new and it is worked great I haven't had any problems with it. I would highly recommend buying a Nissan Altima it is great on gas, it is very durable. I especially love the gas mileage my car get.

- Jordan M

I love this car and you will too!

I have owned my care for 10 years. I love that it is push start and I do not have to use a manual key. I consider my car reliable and it is also great on gas. I have cloth seats and not leather and it is very comfortable. I would absolutely repurchase an upgrade to this vehicle.

- Sarah D

This vehicle is very good with gas.

I really like my vehicle is very good on gas very spacious the only thing that I have had a problem with this vehicle is the catalytic converter where my car will stall out and not go up hills and so forth nice leather seats inside nice radio system backup screen spacious trunk.

- Charisma G

Nissan Altima, a sharp looking and economical sporty choice.

I love the feel of this car. It is roomy inside and has leg room and head room. It is comfortable for long rides and sporty, for a sedan. It is good on mileage, for the most part. It is a sharp looking vehicle that seems durable to me, at least, from my own personal experience.

- Char M

Heated steering wheel is amazing

Overall it's a great car. No major problems or anything like that. Mine is older so there isn't an aux port and the CD player skips on and off but other than that it's aged we'll. The sun roof is nice during summertime and the heated steering wheel is such a plus during winter!

- Rachel A

Still performing well after 200, 000 miles.

I like the reliability and convenience of available service for my vehicle. My car has over 200, 000 miles and because I have kept it serviced regularly, it is still going strong. There have been a few minor care problems, especially more often oil changes, but the car is good.

- Georgia H

They are dependable cars built to last.

It makes a rattling noise, a/c doesn't blow hard enough, the tire pressure light will not go out and the dashboard lights go off. There is a sticky substance on the dash that was there when I brought the car that causes a glare on the window which makes it hard to see through.

- Yasmin P

I just did this in the last part. Make your questions different. Dumbass.

I love my car it has its problems but overall it performance great. The problems are small and do not affect the performance of it. The stereo does not work, the doors don't lock on their own, and the windows malfunction. However, there is never a problem when I drive the car.

Nissan Altima! The car that everyone can depend on.

This is absolutely a great car. I have a two-door one. The only problem that I would say with it is that it needs to be recalled for the glare on the windshield. Because of the heat the dash melts and it makes dog hair and dirt stick to it. Other than that, great reliable car.

- Ashley W

Handles and accelerates wonderfully.

Problems: none available. Performance is great accelerates wonderfully. Very reliable I have no mechanical issues other than regular wear and tear. It is very comfortable and has electric everything, good stereo system, push button start and push button trunk and door opener.

- Clifton N

Reliable, comfortable and a smooth ride.

My Nissan Altima is very comfortable and it is a smooth ride. It has been a reliable car for me. I do have a problem with the dashboard, it is melting. I put a cover over it because the melting dashboard was causing a reflection and I had trouble seeing through my windshield.

- Lynne S

Review of my Nissan Altima coupe as a small, compact, and reliable car.

The Nissan Altima coupe has blind spots which makes it difficult to see sometimes and the seats are pretty uncomfortable for tall people. The car is also low to the ground which can be scary on highways when driving relatively fast. I like the gas mileage and size of the car.

- Lisa A

The way my car looks when its washed and waxed. It looks so good.

Altima is my favorite car there comfort me and air condition the ride is good and smooth, the seats are heated it has a sunroof for added look and comfort it's good on gas mileage I never really had any really problems with the car yet any breakdowns or major engine problems.

- Rachel K

A great, reliable ride that feels like a luxury car.

It is very reliable. It seems like a luxury car. There is lots of legroom in the front and back. My car is 11 years old and it still runs well. The trunk is spacious and the fold-down seat make hauling larger objects easy. My only issue is it uses antifreeze/coolant quickly.

- Katherine C

Comfortable and long lasting.

I absolutely love Nissan! This was my first car purchase and I'll forever stick with Nissan! Its safe and durable. These cars can last a lifetime! They are big enough to fit three car seats in the back comfortably. They're roomy and I just love that! Nissan is the way to go!

- Sarah H

The best thing about my Altima is the stereo system by far!

My vehicle has leather seats, heated seats, Bose stereo system & great gas mileage. I would 10/10 recommend a Nissan Altima out of anything else on this planet. Mine drives so smooth and quiet. It is quite honestly the best thing ever. The price wasn't that bad either!

- Nicole A

Reliable & Good Choice Overall

Overall the car has been good. Everyone loves the smoothness of the ride and the extras that come with the car. I have had small issues with breaks and check engine light coming on for no real reason. Regular maintenance is important and tire pressure sensor is sensitive.

- Kimberley J

Nissan Altima is the car for me for its great gas efficiency engine.

Very energy efficient. I use it for travel and it doesn't waste too much gas. I great for travel and city traveling. From and to work everyday. My family and I fit great in this car. I will trade for a newer model one day. My car is easy to park it fits almost everywhere.

- Eva L

Nissan Altima- a nice car

It is great and it drives really well and it has great gas mileage. The seats are comfortable and they are wide enough for larger people. The steering wheel is smooth and the tires are strong. The windows are nice. I like the car a lot. It was a good purchase. No problems

- Meagan A

Overall a good car. I would buy it again!

My Nissan Altima is a pretty reliable vehicle. I enjoy the many cup holders and areas to store things inside. I will say though that I wish the paint wouldn't chip so easy I've seen many Nissan Altimas like that unfortunately. Overall it runs smooth and is easy to drive.

- Alexis M

The car is small and compact. Also saves on gas.

If you take care of the car when you first get it then you will have no problems with it. Changing oil and tires and keeping up with the maintenance will help it last longer as well. The only trouble I have had is the power steering but it was easy and reasonable to fix.

- Erica V

It has the best air conditioning I have ever had in any car

It is a great car easy to maintain and reliable I never have a problem the gas mileage is wonderful and it has amazing air conditioning it also drives very smooth and I love the way it handles and is very easy to park I have never had any major problems with it I love it

- Beth W

Premium gas is the death of me.

My car is great, the only thing that is a brother is that premium gas is recommended for high performance which is really the only gas that should go in it because gas mileage is really bad on any other grade of gas. Everything else about my car is actually really nice.

- Karen B

Great style, shape, color. Sunroof!

No problems, very comfortable. Very reliable. Only fixed maintenance problems. Have had the car for 2 years. Only thing is tire pressure is always on. Great car overall, great first car, good on gas and mileage. I like the 2008 series. Mine is leather interior, sunroof.

- Robyn L

Great car! Reliable and fun to drive!

I bought this vehicle used about a year ago. It was one owner in good condition. It drives very well. Good transmission, there are many of these on the road and there's a good reason for this. Very reliable and fun to drive. The sound system is great and it looks nice.

- Windy S

I had it for many years and drives smoothly and reach high speeds well.

Very reliable, never had an issue with starting or getting me anywhere. It is very comfortable with the adjustable seats making it easier to drive. The only problem I would have is the gas now needs more money to fill up but that is no big deal. It performs very well.

- Tiara L

The Nissan Altima is the best car I've ever had

Really reliable hardly ever have any problems. Love the push to start and the lock button on the door handle I never have to take the keys out of my purse it's great when carrying groceries and/or kids very comfortable and rides really smooth best car I have ever had!

- Shayna M

2008 Nissan Altima, low mileage, reliable car.

The tire light keeps coming on, good gas mileage. Nice riding car, heated seats spacious enough for five people without being crowded. Very good car, upholds value very well. Color is gray and kind of dull, someone scratched the trunk, do not know who did it or when.

- Victoria W

Nissan Altima: gas mileage is high.

Nissan Altima is reliable. It needs very little maintenance. At 200, 000 miles, it still runs like a top. Gas mileage is about 29 mpg. Adjustable drivers seat is comfortable. Anti-lock brakes add to safety. The radio needed to be replaced due to the display failure.

- Joy H

2008 Altima needs a lot of work.

The car is difficult to get smogged. The transmission make a whining sound after driving for 20 minutes. The car has odd sounds in the cabin while driving. The car is doesn't get very gas mileage anymore. The car also needs a tune up and engine mounts have worn out.

- Robert L

King of Speakers Prince of reliability.

I've had this car for about 5 years still very consistent performance wise. Everything on the car is still stock and is very reliable. The stock speakers are very high quality as well that last still sound brand new to this day. MPG on it can be questionable though.

- Damian R

The car is black, leather interior, sunroof, mp3 compatible, fog lights.

Love nissan, no major problems . Yet. Car has lasted several years with upkeep. I cannot wait to get a new nissan. My mechanic has been able to fix any problem that arose. I would recommend nissan to anyone. The only major fix was a fuel injector. No other issues.

- Beth L

I think the vehicle needs to be fully checked out.

My vehicle is a push to start, but every time I start the car it has a rattling sound to it. Every now and then when driving the gas pedal will feel easy to press down on or hard to press down on. It still gets me to point A to point B, so it is not all that bad.

- Brie D

Very spacious and great for family.

The Nissan Altima is one of the best family cars and traveling cars. It is good on gas and is very spacious. It's great for putting big things and groceries and such in it due to the spacious back/trunk. It's not a compact car but is easy to maneuver and control.

- Alex A

White glossy 2008 Nissan Altima.

A issue with the car is that it makes strange noises and has a sunroof leak. The positive is that it's lasted this long with no serious problems. The seats are comfortable and I feel safe while driving. The back seats are spacious and the trunk has a lot of room.

- Eric O

Nissan Altima is the way to go.

The only issue I have had with my vehicle is a brake issue. It prevented my vehicle from starting. I had to dislodge the brake assembly by the peddle and reset it. I have not had an issue sense. I like my car a lot I wish it had more pick up but I like it a lot.

- Joe L

It is a really great car I would not say it was if it was not.

The car rides a little too low and bottoms out sometimes and the fact that I did not realize how hard maintaining black paint and how easy it scuffs and scratches and how much heat leather seats would hold and the same with the black colored dash but that is it.

- Jane Doe D

The car still looks good and drives well maintains it youthful style.

There have been very minimal problems. The car is reliable and performs very well. Probably the most comfortable car I have owned. Good gas mileage. The Nissan battery did not hold up and after it was replaced ( not a Nissan product) the issue did not re-occur.

- Marilyn M

My 2008 Nissan has left a good enough impression to purchase another one.

Performance is great with a 3. 5 l engine. Recurring problems have been motor mounts and tire sensors. Reliability has been very good. The only time I was stranded was the battery. The car is comfortable with all seat adjustments present including heated seats.

- Dennis A

Runs great and looks good.

It was fine when purchased, even used, however, it has really downgraded on things I really didn't think would downgrade that much. Like the driver's seat is.. Leaning. The seat belts, 3 of them at different times have not worked. So, good at first- then not..

- Carolyn M

Boring but a reliable way to get to and from work and home.

I've had it for a very long time, and it's done surprisingly well. Really reliable, but a little ugly duckling. Its seats are soft but it gets hard to clean. I would consider getting a neutral color so you don't get bored of what you have to look at every day.

- Zoe M

Its drives very well and good on gas.

It's a good car. The main problem I have is my battery. The reliability of my car is good. The comfort and features are a plus. I highly recommend this car because it's a great car. My next car will be an Altima or any Nissan. Great car for a college student.

- Sw H

Good gas mileage and electric moving seats.

Excellent performance and great gas mileage all in all the car is good and I am satisfied with how it runs very dependable electronic moving seats music changer Bluetooth calling and free oil changes at maintenance and tire shop great ac with cruise control.

- Denzel W

Legacy rims, lowered, changed interior from grey to black, and added new stereo.

One thing I love about my car is the gas mileage. I am able to drive from southern California to northern California on one tank of gas. It is also a comfortable car to enjoy those long Journeys. The car drives very smooth and the car is extremely reliable.

- Kelly M

My vehicle is worth the price and has been more useful than I thought.

My vehicle is super reliable and comes in great use. It has beige leather interior which is very comfortable and allows for the seats to keep cool during the summer. The car picks up speed very quickly and it able to endure fast speeds, such as on highways.

- Jena A

Love that my car has tinted windows air slapstick and tilt wheel.

My vehicle is a very smooth ride. I love that I have had very little problems with my car. Battery tires oil changes. Drives great air works great so does heat. Has slapstick if preferred. Seats five people comfortably. Would recommend this car to anyone.

- Susan D

2008 Nissan Altima. Very dependable and modern car.

This is my second Altima and both were pretty reliable cars and had few problems until they 250, 000 miles or more. They are comfortable, modern and very smooth driving. In both Altima's had a oil issue that never got answered but didn't cause any damage.

- Brittany H

very reliable car. one thing though, do not let it sit up without being started for a while. I did this when I went on vaca and came back to a dead battery

What I dislike is the newser models are too close to the ground - my 1999 model was high enough for me to get a trailer hitch attached in case of needing to evacuate for hurricanes. My 2008 is so low there is no way I could do this and save my belongings

- Laurie S

Very roomy with a decent amount of legroom for driver and passengers.

Nissan's are very reliable cars. I haven't had any major issues with the car other than the normal repairs for a car of this age. I have replaced the transmission and catalytic converter. I am hopeful the car will last another 2 years with proper upkeep.

- Rosetta U

Broken Window Nissan Altima

First the back windows stopped working. Then the front windows stopped working. The sun room came off track and right before my warranty ended the transmission went out. Also, I wish it had tinted windows and a way to hook my phone up to it using Wi-Fi.

- Christina S

Great car to own. I would buy another with no hesitation.

It has been very dependable. Very little repairs and great fuel mileage. Comfortable to drive. Easy to work on. Overall it has been a very good car to me. I would highly recommend this vehicle to anyone and would buy another one when this one gives out.

- John B

Best all white Nissan Altima.

2008 Nissan Altima is a great car for a single person or a family. I have three children and it is still fine. It is great in gas. And I love that it is small but just enough space. The truck is a great size. It was a sunroof which I love in the summer.

Very sporty and sharp vehicle.

Only had to replace serpentine belt. Car has always been very dependable to be 10 years old. I love the power which is very impressive, love the black interior. The stereo system is one of the loudest and clearest stock system I think I have ever heard.

- John B

It shifts like a dream with a his and her shifter.

None really, I like the way the transmission shifts it is like a standard she up but also was an automatic which gives you lots better gas mileage I love it, I love the sunroof in it dial around everything the Bose stereo system love it love it love it.

- Fred B

Smooth and comfortable ride and roomy.

The dashboard is melting and I do not like the fact that the doors do not automatically lock when you start to drive. My Nissan is reliable and it is a nice, smooth ride. The seats are comfortable and there is lots of room inside the car and the trunk.

- Katherine S

The best foreign car ever.

I love all of the features that it has the leather seats the great speakers. I also like that I have temperature controls and the leather seats are heated. I haven't had to put the car in the shop except really mostly for maintenance and wear and tear.

- Leah M

Sporty type car, very eye catching

Good car for a single person or a younger couple. Not very much of a back seat so not ideal for young children or babies. It's a very sporty like car, good for driving around town and good strong vehicle. Easy up keep on the car and easy to keep clean

- Hannah M

Very dependable and roomy.

Very roomy, for a 4 cylinder car it runs very well and is great on gas. I have had only one issue with the car since I bought it in 2008, a sensor needed to be replaced. My Altima is a very reliable car and I would recommend it to family and friends.

- Debra P

2008 Nissan Altima Review

Overall it is a great reliable car. Some problems that I've had with it are coils, oil leaks and exhaust. My exhaust has actually rusted to the point where my exhaust tips fell off. Interior is comfortable and spacious. Good size trunk space as well.

- Matt T

My Nissan Altima is not very fast

My car was bought used so it came with some problems. The left side of my back bumper flies off everytime I go to fast, so I have to tape it up. It also makes a very loud noise when I press the gas pedal. My E-brake doesn't hold if it's up/down hill.

- Mariam Z

This car will take you anywhere you need to be.

I have owned this car for almost 2 years and I love it! I like that it looks sleek and sporty, and has more than enough room for me and my family. The v6 engine allows for this beauty to be a beast on the road when needed. Would definitely recommend.

- Sarah W

Wonderful long term running car!

My Altima is a really good car. There was a lot of miles on it when I purchased it and it still runs great. It also has push to start, which is really convenient. I have had no major issues besides regular maintenance any care takes to keep running.

- Allysa L

Great car, lots of space, great gas mileage, and comfortable. Easy to drive and can parallel park like a boss.

It's been a great car, though there's been a lot to fix recently. Part of that is the climate I live in, it can be rather harsh on cars. But all in all, great car, would definitely see about buying a new Altima when the time comes for a new car.

- Allison A

Nissan Works Mostly Fine Although Black Is Too Hot of a Color For Texas'

It's still hard to get used to the push button starting mechanism and the electronic key chain. I want to paint it a lighter color as well. However, the gas mileage is pretty fine, and I think that the handling of the car overall is also good.

- Broderick B

I love my Nissan Altima. This is my second. I've had tit for 8 years. It's given me little to no trouble. If I wasn't looking to get a bigger car, I'd buy another. I'd HIGHLY recommend it. Especially for new drivers or for someone's first car.

- Eric D

One important thing other should know about their car, is the reliability.

This car is very reliable. I haven't had a problem with it since I bought it and it is 10 years old. Driving is extremely smooth. Opening and starting the car with one button is very convenient. It is, overall, the best car I have ever had.

- Karen G

A Combination of Sleekness, Reliability, and Functionality

I have had my car since 2008 and have never had any issues with performance. It is economical and reasonably priced on fuel. The only issues that I have ever had were flat tires or the battery dying, but each problem was resolved easily.

- Hannah Q

It is a 4 cylinder and gets great mileage, but has a lot of power on takeoff.

My 2008 Nissan Altima only has 95, 000 plus miles. It gets great gas mileage and has been a very dependable car. I just recently had the transmission replaced while it was still under warranty and expect to drive it several more years.

- Joyce S

Best car I have ever owned!

We have a issue with the power steering at the moment. What I love is the quality of the vehicle. I love the look of the car inside and out. Inside I love the heated seats the options on the steering wheel and the gas mileage is great.

- Jess B

Very fast handles well with the right tires.

A/c compressor broke early, dashboard replaced before 40, 000 mi brakes wear out fast but very reliable comfortable very fast handles well with bright tires, clear coat coming off on trunk stereo cd player broke before 40, 000 miles.

- Matthew M

It is reliable. Rarely has needed to go to the shop.

It is reliable and gets me where I need to go. It is not as big as I would like for a family of 4 and it is getting a little dated. It does not have any of the fancy features such as back up cameras, etc. That newer vehicles have.

- Christin M

No major repairs in the 8 years I have had it. It is dependable.

I like the car for these reasons: the car is dependable. No major problems. I dislike the car for these reasons: sometimes the car gear slips this has been an ongoing problem since I purchased the care new. Cash mileage is fair.

- Marilyn (lyn) F

The cvt transmission is much better the what the critics said about it when it first came out.

I have had this car for over ten year and generally I love it. It has been very reliable and has never broken down on me and left me stranded. My biggest complaint is that the exterior plant has not held up very well at all.

- Nader Z

This car is perfect, and as all things: If you take care of it--it will take care of you.

This is an awesome car because it does not require a lot of maintenance and the car parts are pretty cheap. My car was stolen a few months ago and now I am finally having problems with it because the thief wrecked it.

- Angela P

The one most important thing anyone should know about the Nissan is that the mileage per gallon is very good, better than most cars on the road.

My Nissan has about 30 miles per gallon on the road which is pretty good to commute to work. The interior is nice with black leather seating with a superior air conditioning system. I love my sound system in the car.

- Jonathan B

A Nissan Altima is a classic car that is good for first-time drivers like myself.

My vehicle is easy to drive and drives smoothly. It has a lot of space in the front and back. The trunk is average, and I wish it was a little bigger. The air conditioning broke in my vehicle, which is a problem.

- Heather D

The Nissan Altima is a reliable and dependable car. It is reasonable priced and has longevity

My vehicle is reliable for the most part. I've had it for about 10 years and have not really have had any problems. On the downside, it is getting older and things like the seats are becoming less comfortable

- Cynthia G

It's a nice, safe car that gets me where I need to be

I like that it had all of the features I was looking for - aux hookup, sunroof, push to start button. I would like a newer car though because it's starting to make noises that make it sound super old and cheap

- Sarah N

Great features and nice looking too.

What I love about my vehicle is that it's mine, it's the first car I bought with my own money. It'll get me from point A to point B, and back to point A. Only dislike is in the summer it gets very hot inside.

- Angel D

Gas is super cheap for a full tank 17-20 gallons which adds to about $45-$50.

I love my Nissan Altima because I've had it for 10 years and it's still in such good shape. My car drives very smoothly and rarely ever has any problems. Also, gas is fairly cheap for a full tank in this car.

- Victoria R

Do not buy it if you plan to have children in carseats in the car. The back seat is small and not very accessible. But it is a fun car.

I love the look of my vehicle. I don't like that it does not fit a carseat very well, it is difficult to get my 5 month old daughter in and out of the car. The gas mileage could definitely be better as well.

- Haley C

It is pretty but pretty is not always better especially underneath the hood.

The transmission and censors have lot of issues. However this model is have has been used so it could be a matter of wear and tear on the vehicle however I have heard these vehicles have these issues often.

- Megan O

This car is probably the smallest safest car made in 2008.

I love my Altima! My car has over 100, 000 miles on it and it still runs great! I like the sporty look it has to it. I've had to get my brakes looked a and my needs a new headlight. It still runs great.

- Alyssa W

The tire pressure sensor is not the check engine light sensor. It looks very similar but they are not the same

My nissan Altima is a very reliable vehicle. I have had little to no problems with it. The only issues were normal wear and tear, brakes, tires, and air getting hot and not cooling as fast as it should.

- Makayla C

It's great for long road trips. I can get from Anaheim, CA to Sacramento, CA on 1 tank of fuel.

I like that it is spacious for a small vehicle. It has a big tank that holds a lot of fuel. It has a great commute, but it's service streets mpg could be improved. I like that it is less computerized.

- Felicia K

Even though it's a hybrid, it has enough power for quick acceleration.

I like the hybrid fuel efficiency. Also the car is loaded with every option available. Not happy with the sticky material on the dashboard coming up. It's a factory recall that I don't have $250 for.

- Tedd G

Falling apart quickly and costing more than it is worth.

Electrical issues and other code issues. Transmission is not consistent, headlights always causing problems as well as emission issues. All around bad purchase and definitely will not do it again.

- Gina P

Anyone using the Nissan has to know to never leave keys in car.

I like our Corolla because it keeps on going.. We try to buy Nissan or Toyota.. I love the Corolla. Because it is dependable. I have no complaints about the Corolla except I wish I buy a new one!.

- Catherine M

Be ready to get another paint job

Car runs well but the paint job is less than ok. Paint is various shades and there are rust spots in some areas. The car also makes a rattling sound that I caNnot locate and therefore cannot fix.

- Cornelius S

It has excellent acceleration.

There is not enough visibility. In town gas mileage is poor. I like to ride higher for better visibility. I would prefer to drive a hybrid for better fuel economy and for environmental purposes.

- Linda T

It is fuel efficient and doesn't cost much to fill it up.

My vehicle is wonderful.I like that it is very fuel efficient,I can fill my tank up for the under $30.I like that is compact and the perfect size. There is nothing that I don't like about my car.

- Christina B

That it has been super reliable for the 10/almost 11 years that I have had it.

Vehicle has 160k miles. Vehicle has been super reliable, just poorly maintained. Due to low maintenance I am having issues with the struts, tie rod ends and I have an oil leak from the engine.

- Joel H

This has been a great car. Over 300 thousand miles now!

My car has extremely high mileage. I bought it used, and had to replace the transmission first thing. After some research, I learned that transmission problems are common with Nissan Altima.

- Lisa B

Is a nice car, but burns through gas quickly.

It is a gas guzzler with almost 200, 000 miles on it. It is a safe car, but the brake pads and the actual ride is iffy. Is a steady vehicle but not made for the heat or to drive long-term.

- Samantha R

Keep up with the maintenance.

My Nissan is good on gas, she loves me and she has been dependable. Great trunk space. The heated seats have been a favorite! I do not use the sunroof as much as I did when I got the car.

- Melissa C

That is has 156,000 miles and is still going strong.

My vehicle is great because it rides well, is a pretty color (white), and is very reliable. The only thing I don't like is that the doors are often locked when I don't want them to be.

- Greg M

Very reliable car have not have anything major go wrong with it yet.

Lot of legroom in the back seat, haven't had any major problems with the engine except for regular oil changes and tire rotations. Very reliable. Push to start is a really nice feature.

- Thomas H

Its durable; the seats are comfortable; mpg.

My Nissan Altima is a great car; the car is very good on gas mileage; it also have a awesome Bose sound system' it ride very sooth; I purchased it used and it is a very reliable car.

- Sandra A

I wouldn't be able to get around without it to take me there.

It has major motor issues that I have spent a lot of money trying to fix. The main thing I love about it is it has gotten me where I needed to go. But nonetheless it is still my car.

- Carl J

My Nissan drives well even in bad weather.

I love my car because its reliable. In the snow it's drives well minimal sledding. The overall look of my vehicle nice. The interior of the vehicle is spacious, including the trunk.

- Crystal M

Features of the Nissan Altima.

I have a black Nissan Altima. The fastest my car can go is pass 160 miles per hour. There are alerts on a screen to tell me when I am out of gas, the temperature outside, and more.

- Maya G

Will get good gas mileage if on the highway.

I like I have title as it is currently paid off. I dislike its older and could have anything go wrong at anytime. I like that its low maintenance as parts are cheaper than others.

- Joel W

It is a good car to be older.

I like that it has many miles, yet still runs nicely. It also is roomy and perfect for my family and lifestyle. I hate that there are parts broken so it takes more gas than usual.

- Alexia R

2008 Nissan Altima Hybrid

It's an older car now. It has been reliable, no real issues. It's also a hybrid which has saved on gas. I have done the regularly scheduled maintenance. This has been a good car

- Joshua S

The most important thing about my car is that it's versatile and good for everyone

My vehicle isn't perfect but it gets me from point A to point B. It functions great, and I've been lucky to not have damaged it too much even though I've been in minor accidents

- Leila B

It looks nice and would still work as a family car.

No complaints. I like the way it drives, how comfortable it is, and the features. It came with a sun/moonroof, has steering wheel music controls and the sound system is great.

- Kayla H

It is been dependable. It also gets great mileage.. The ride is smooth and quiet..

I love the keyless entry. The feel of the drive. Great for 3 person trips.. The cars computer has issues (we had it checked by Nissan) the tire pressure light never goes off..

- Michelle B

It runs well as long as you keep up with maintenance.

I like that it drives comfortably, for the most part. It accelerates well and has had a decently long life so far. I don't like that some repairs felt unnecessarily expensive.

- Anthony S

Good quality car which has held up well for 10 years without any significant problems /repairs needed

Comfortable ride with good legroom and supportive seats. Handles well in variety of road conditions. Good gas mileage in town and on the highway. Trunk capacity above average

- Jeanne K

Good, reliable car. Would recommend highly for a family or a single person

Very dependable car. I have had it for about 8 years now and have not had any major problems. The only complaint I have is that the seats are starting to show wear and tear.

- Cynthia G

The most important thing people should know about the car is that it doesn't need many repairs.

My car is a 2008 Nissan 2.5 SE coupe. It's blue. My biggest dislike is that there is no legroom for the back seats. I do like the add-one like the sunroof for the low price.

- Jeffrey C

My family sedan is reliable and fun to drive.

I love the fact that my car is low maintenance and reliable. It has a good amount of power and is great on gas. I think it is perfect for families of 5 or less individuals.

- John C

We love it, and recommend Nissan to others. Nissan vehicles are reliable and durable.

An Altima SE with 3.5 OVC engine, my car has rapid acceleration, great handling, and reasonable mpg. We maintain it well, and it the 20th of our Nissan/Infiniti vehicles.

- john d

A very reliable car except for....

I like the car, but if there were things I would change would be the key fob alarm which keeps going off in my pocket and the sealed transmission that cannot be serviced.

- Kenneth T

Nissan's are very well made vehicles. I would recommend them to anyone. They drive smoothly.

I have loved this car from day one. I have only ever had one issue, the air conditioning went out one year, but it was an easy & inexpensive fix. I would buy another one.

- Audra L

It runs just as well on regular or super gas and is energy efficient.

It is the most reliable car I have owned. It is sporty and has a lot of cool features. It is a 6 speed manual transmission with lots of pickup. It's a black 2 door coupe.

- Marcia B

Older Altima still powerful and stylish.

Very reliable, comfortable, lots of great features and options. It has a lot of power. Never any issues at all with the car and I find it stylish even for an older model.

- Denise S

The stickers on the back of my car are pretty cool.

It's a red coup closest thing to a sports car like the way it feels and look after driving minivans and full vans towing the children in, made me feel like a real person.

That it is a very safe, dependable and comfortable vehicle.

I like the size of my vehicle, the gas mileage is great too. My vehicle is dependable and I also have heard good comments from others and recommendations on my vehicle.

- Margarita P

It has a backup camera for safely purposes.

Like the sporty look, the way it handles and all the bells and whistles that it has. I like the speed and the pickup. The only complaint is that the back seat is small.

- Mary Lou R

It is very dependable and is also very fuel efficient.

I love the fuel economy and the quality. I dislike the white color and find that it is very common; I normally prefer a red car that is a little more uncommonly seen.

- Linda M

Over all, it is reliable. Engine runs great. CD changer does not work.

All leather and heated seats. No key, button Start. Air conditioner doesn't work. Some issue with clunking from left tire. Has been reliable. CD changer does not work.

- Brent K

Story of my ten year-old Altima!

Car is very fast! Interior is nice and fairly roomy. The brakes have squeaked since I've had it and no one seems to think there is anything they can do to prevent it.

- Christen Z

It just keeps on going without needing repairs, but we do maintenance regularly.

It is an Altima Hybrid. It gets incredible gas mileage. It is very roomy and comfortable for a mid-sized sedan. It has been practically repair free. No complaints.

- Richard S

Nissan Altima is an amazing, economical vehicle. You can't fail in choosing this great car.

Have had this car for a while with very few issues. The main issue occurs during the winter months and the tires slide a lot in the snow. It's very economical on gas.

- Esther M

It is very reliable and never needs special work.

Car is extremely roomy and great size to transport my family. Only complaint is due to it being an older vehicle, it lacks a lot of the safety features now available.

- Marina L

It can last a long time and make sure to keep up with all the important warranties.

I like that it is roomy, reliable and not too many issues with it. I dislike the transmission, feels weird when shifting gears and tends to jerk weird when stopped.

- Joanna k

The value is there for an Altima, just be careful of the sunroof.

I like it's interior because it's leather and has a sunroof. I like it's reliability to get me places. I don't like that the sunroof has been leaking for years now.

- Andy j

Have to push brake before holding the push button to start the vehicle.

Problems: loud, oil leakage. Reliability: very reliable. Comfortable. Push start feature. No sunroof, cloth seats, power seats and windows, a/c and heat work well.

- Makayla H

Great value, but down the road you will get what you pay for.

I love that my vehicle has a lot of room. However, there are some Nissan-specific issues that I've noticed. For example, the sealing in the windows has come loose.

- Evan C

Nissan Altimas are very reliable cars that are also great on gas mileage.

I love my vehicle. It choose it because it's great on gas, reliable and durable. I don't have many complaints other than the breaks have seemingly always squeaked.

- Candi R

It was fully loaded when I brought it.

It does not have Bluetooth where I can listening to music from phone to the speakers wireless. Also it is just older and time for a newer car with updated parts.

- Brittany L

Great gas mileage! And it isn't a bad looking car either.

Not terribly comfortable. When I sit in the driver's seat for prolonged periods, my back tends to hurt. I appreciate the good gas mileage and the car runs well.

- Mya A

It's a great car for gas mileage and if you're a first time car owner.

It's navy blue in color. It's a 4 cylinder engine and it has a pretty good sized gas tank. Rides really well and has an awesome sound system for it to be stock.

- Chris B

It is dependable and gas mileage is good.

I have the Altima sports coupe and it looks sporty and drives very smoothly. The maintenance has been minimal. The car still looks great. I have no complaints.

- Marilyn M

- Frank G

Excellent price, drives very well.

It is dependable, price was excellent. It drives well in the snow, summer, spring and fall. Do not have any regrets, perfect size for me and I love the color.

- Victoria W

It has a good speed, but brakes are a bit sensitive.

Brakes have squealed for eight years. Every mechanic including at dealership says there is no way to fix this issue. It is old so has issues along with that.

- Christen Z

Great car for anyone. No problema

Pretty good car. No major problems with it. It's good for my family and runs smooth. I like the keyless entry so I don't have to worry about being locked out

- Autumn L

Its a push to start so that's pretty cool.

Very nice reliable car. Most of the problems i have are due to an accident. Wish it was a little higher as i hit a lot of curbs. Also not that great on gas.

- Janelle M

Trustworthy reliable vehicle

I've had minimal issues with the vehicle besides normal maintenance. I am close to 200,000 miles on the car and expect to still have it for quite some time.

- Courtney R

Good gas mileage, does not cost an arm and a leg to fill up.

- Marie N

It is reliable and it has a great turning radius. It gets good gas mileage.

It is good on gas. It is roomy for a small car. Fashionable while it is also practical. The trunk runs deep so you are able to use it for even large items.

- Alyssa B

It is dependable and comfortable.

My Altima is very roomy (legroom and trunk) and comfortable. It is dependable and has over 175, 000 miles and still going strong. Good gas mileage as well.

- Tricia K

It is a good value for the price. They can rely on the car to have only expected repair expenses. The trunk can hold 4 sets of golf clubs.

My Altima has been very reliable. It gets decent gas mileage. The trunk is spacious. My greatest complaint is it does not handle particularly well in snow.

- Raymond J

Nice car. A good car for anyone. Very reliable.

I have been very pleased with my car over the past ten years. I have only had two minor repair needs during the time. I do wish it had a little more room.

- Gina N

Nissan are great cars, they last long, there spacious.

I love the push the start on the vehicle, great on gas mileage, spacious back seats, large trunk space, Nissan Altima rides low so not good on curves.

- Kay M

It is reliable, so far. It is comfortable and it performs well.

Love my vehicle because its interior is comfortable and nice. I enjoy driving my car because it's easily to drive. I dislike how it waste to much gas.

- Solange C

The Altima is a reliable family car that gets you around town easily

Comfortable seats, quick engine and break response (that has slowed a bit with age though), AUX input is nice, keyless start and button doors a bonus

- Rebecca V

the seats are very comfortable and adjust very easily

heated seats, sunroof, climate control, bluetooth, aux hook up for music. very reliable. breaks are squeaky but just need to be fixed nothing major.

- austin n

It is dependable. I have not had issues with this car. It has kept it resale value.

I have never had a major issue with it. It drives well. It gets decent mileage and it looks good. It has aged very well. It does not look outdated.

- Wendy M

Nissan runs very smooth at any age.

I love my car because it is still in great condition for 10 years old. I dislike my car because over time I have realized that I need a bigger car.

- J S

Great features at affordable price

I have the SL trim, so it's really nice having the leather seats, sunroof, and upgraded audio system. Gets good gas mileage and good on long trips

- Wyatt F

Never had any engine problems. Will always remain loyal to Nisan. And the price was great!

It's the most reliable vehicle I've bought. It is great on gas mileage. The color is beautiful. It holds 5 people comfortably. I love my car!!!

- Barbara C

This is a dependable family car

It's a very reliable car. It hasn't required a lot of maintenance. It works well for my family. It doesn't drive particularly well in the winter.

- Phil C

- Madison T

It is a very reliable vehicle.

I like that it saves money on gas. I dislike that I do not have a lot of room for my kids. It also does not have enough space for extra things.

- Meagan T

It's a great car and its really fast.

Its looks very nice. Wish it was a little more roomy. Its not running right. Love how fast in accelerates and it handles great on the highway.

- Aja R

Decent for couple with older children. Not much room if you take a stroller.

No problems. Reliable. Sturdy. Comfortable. A bit too small. Hard to clean next to the front seats. Paint is peeling. Window tint is bubbling.
