Nissan leaf review: an affordable, nice, comfortable car.
My personal vehicle is Nissan leaf. It is an automatic electric car. I love to drive this car. There’s no major problem I think I faced. It is comfortable too. But I think they should update their mileage some more. It is an electric car. After using 1.5 years I can say this car will not fail you. It is reliable. It has many exciting features. You really should see this car.

Nissan leaf: a comfortable and eco friendly drive.
The Nissan leaf is a wonderful car and drives very smoothly. It has comfortable seating for up to five people, while maintaining a small car atmosphere. Very rarely do you feel any bumps while driving this vehicle. All while using electricity which is helpful to our planet.

It is easy to drive and good for beginners. The features the 2018 model Nissan Leaf has allow for safe driving for the driver and surroundings
I enjoy the safety features including the blind spot sensor and the driving assistance. I like the LED headlights. I do not like the windshield wiper frequency.

This car is all electric and produces no environmentally harmful emissions.
I have always been interested in environmentally friendly cars- and specifically electric vehicles. My Nissan Leaf is perfect for me because it has quite a good range and can get me to and from work at least 3 times a week before I have to recharge. I also love the size of the vehicle, and that it is deceptively roomy for it's looks.

Looks better than the previous models!
Love the fact I don't have to go to get gas! The inside is comfortable enough. The dash and center area are surprisingly well-designed and user friendly for not being a higher end car brand. My only complaint is the battery range, 150-160 isn't bad but a little more would be great on a full charge. The new outside body design is also a million times better than the old way too.

It is good for the environment, fun to drive and very quiet
I like my car because it is all electric. No more gas stations, spark plugs, tune ops, or emissions into the atmosphere

The most important thing is to learn how to charge it and to become used to the range.
I like not having to pay for gas and the low maintenance cost. I like that it is smaller than my previous vehicle and more efficient. I like that I have a Carpool Sticker.

Good commuter car
The 2012 Nissan Leaf is a decent electric alternative that is terrific as a daily commuter car.

Electric vehicles are the way to go.
These all electric vehicles are the very best of any vehicle ever in history. No gas. Clean. Very little maintenance. Once these cars solve the range and recharge issue they will completely replace all other cars all over the world. Using renewable energy to run cars is the best way to ensure we can all breath clean air.

Definitely would recommend the SV A pleasure to drive.

Nissan review: sensors and bumpers.
Sometimes the sensors do not work, has been an issue when it comes to parking and on the highway. The bumpers can also be easily dented after someone backed into the car they dented the car and now it looks like the bumper is a bit loose. It also scratches really easily.

The leaf is electric, long distance, good price, quick charge
Love that it is gas free. Can go long distance. Easy to drive..

Nissan leaf range and speaker review.
The range is not as accurate as it can be. It says there's a range of about 160, but I go more like 120 on a full charge. It may be because I use freeways a lot more and going faster uses a lot more charge than intended. The speaker system does not have the most clarity especially the louder you make the speaker.

Battery life
Driving 90 miles roundtrip. Without having to recharge, will the defrosters be able to work well enough to keep ice off the windshield for about 2 hours of drive time?

Poor Customer Service/Degrading-Non existant charging network.
I’ve owned a 2018 Nissan Leaf SV for a year now.The salesperson misrepresented the amount of savings, the growth of the ChadeMo charging network, and what features the app would have going forward. All of the ChadeMo chargers between where I live(Tidewater, VA) and Richmond, VA (where I work) are broken, permanently. The Priority Nissan (Newport News-manager Brison Chu) have BLOCKED and PADLOCKED their charger after I reached out to Signet to have it repaired. It had been broken for over a year. I just don’t feel Nissan supports their brand, and I, for one, will NEVER buy another Nissan.

The 2018 Nissan leaf, great small car for local driving!
Charging duration is only good for local close driving. There are not enough superchargers around to do longer drives. Driving through the mountains takes a lot of battery and definitely not recommend for long trips. It is a great car for local driving and can be plugged into a standard home outlet to charge overnight. I love the e-pedal, it allows for city driving using the brakes less. Great speed and handles nicely! Great car!

The Nissan leaf is worth the investment.
The new Nissan leaf is a great car. It handles well, has great pick up and is extremely efficient. With an average of 150 miles per charge, you can get to where ever you need. The body is sleek and stylish and looks more like a sport car than the previous version. I would highly recommend the car. Zero maintenance.

My vehicle is very fun to drive and there is many fun quirks to it.
This car is amazing. There have been no issues. It is easy to drive and handle. There is instant acceleration as well which is really nice. I wouldn't want to change this car for anything else on the market right now. This car is very comfortable for long road trips and there is always enough space for everyone.

Great electric car if you drive less than 150 miles and have access to a charger.
The 2018 Nissan leaf sl is my daily driver and I drive about 120 miles round trip to and from work. The car is very good in traffic when utilizing the e-pedal which lessens the amo by you have to depress the gas pedal. Also this car charges fairly quickly but I rarely need to charge from 0%. I usually charge when the car has about 30% and takes about 6 hours on average to get me to 100%.

Great electric vehicle roomy and powerful
The performance of this vehicle really surprised me! It has speed and maneuverability. It has good room in front and rear seats. The storage area/ hatch is roomy. This vehicle is the mid grade and didn't have leather so keeping the interior clean is tough. The charger that is included is slow. Battery life in the winter is short between charges.

Good for environment, cheap to charge at home, but mileage is still a concern.
Love the fact that no longer need to pay for gas. Electricity charging is way cheaper, and more conveniently done at home. Downside is the mileage. Although I was told 180 mpg equivalent, I would say in the summer I can get 150, and in winter it can get as low as 110 mpg. Hopefully technological advances will help push the limit of mileage further. I heard that the 2020 model can go over 200 mpg, but will probably wait and see if this report is accurate. Lot of malls and public areas offer dc fast charging these days. It can go from 10-80% full in amount 40 mins, which is not bad. We usually find chargers at malls, and will park the car and do some shopping while eat at a restaurant. Love to see some promotions given to electric car drivers who charges their cars at the mall. Wonder why no one else thought of it.

Great, solid vehicle. Good on gas, not overly big like many SUVs are.
Comfortable, economic, great mileage per charge are what I like.. What I dislike is the black interior and cheap tires.

A short ranged masterpiece.
I love the turning radius; it feels like I am driving a golf cart. The heated seats are especially cozy on cold mornings. The only problem I have seen so far with the car is that the range of it is battery life drops significantly in cold weather. Definitely not a long range vehicle but it is definitely a good investment if you have charging stations in your area. I am able to charge mine right from our solar panels which is super convenient.
accountCircle Kathy S on December 31, 2019
It gets better mileage/range below 60 mph.
Never having to stop for gas. It is comfortable. It is roomy. It handles well and has nice safety features.

Pros and cons for the 2018 Nissan leaf sv trim.
It wasn't clear in the beginning that the trim level of the leaf we got does not include a level 2 charging cable. Charging times on the level 1 cable can take up to 35 hours from 0-100%. This was something the dealer did not make it clear. However not needing to pay for gas is pretty awesome. The car also comes with an app to track all its statistics, making it really cool to check how our driving impacts the vehicles performance. We ended up installing a fast Charger at home, and now charging times are significantly shorter. Comfort level is good, front driver and passenger seats have a lot of good headroom. The backseats are raised higher giving people in the back nice view of the road ahead. Overall we are pretty happy with the car. It looks cool and overall helps us save gas money in the long run.

Nissan Leaf sv
Just bought a used 2018 leaf sv. Really like it. The acceleration is fun and quick. Range is good. And driving past gas stations...!

Never stop at a gas station again.
My electric car runs quiet. It has fast pickup speed. I like the latest technology it has with driver assist features and rear view backup camera. I like the heated seats. I love not having to go to gas stations or get tune ups or oil changes. It has many safety features and is comfortable to drive.
accountCircle Chris A on October 27, 2019
We keep it well maintained.
The fuel cost is great since gas prices are high. There is a certain amount of range anxiety though. Overall I am very pleased.

The leaf I love and why you will love it too.
There have been no problems. It runs quietly. It is reasonably priced. I like the interior it is easily cleaned. It is spacious for three 5'9 kids. The battery life works for my family as I can make it from one side of town to the next on a single charge and still have enough to get to work. Infrastructure could be better as the leaf making does not seem to be high on Nissans list.

Issues on my 2018 Nissan leaf sl.
Low range miles to drive the car, it has a small room inside for tall people, so honestly I do not drive it comfortable. And charging stations are not enough for all the ev electric vehicles out there, also the brake system it feel aggressive when you use the e pedal.
accountCircle Bronson S on July 28, 2019
I can get anywhere I want & never have to worry about the charge in the battery.
Love the technology ie. Nav system, pro pilot, Bluetooth capabilities etc. Also love the range of the battery however disappointed that they feel short of 200 mile capabilities they promised.

I like that it does not use gasoline/petro. I wish it could fit six people instead of five.

Sporty, fast, affordable, good for the environment.
I really love the electric vehicle. Easy to charge and operate. There is little to no patience other than tires and brakes. I like the pick-up and acceleration of an electric vehicle. I also like the zero fuel costs of the car. The interior is small but comfortable. The only thing I would like different would be for the car to be larger and have a longer midlife range.

Nissan leaf: best priced electric.
I have driven the Nissan leaf since when the only other fully electric vehicle on the road was the tesla roadster—and I still love my leaf. I am on my third leaf actually. I plug-in to the charger in my garage which is much easier than buying fuel. My car rides smooth and I like the heated seats and how quiet it rides.
accountCircle Catherine M on April 28, 2019
It is a fully electric hatchback that goes about 140 miles.
The miles estimate is generally incorrect. Because it is electric, the miles deteriorate on the freeway very quickly versus on side roads. My car should go about 200 miles but probably goes about 130 total (depending on where I am driving). Also, some of the car chargers are unreliable on how well they work so it can be intimidating to rely on a certain spot to charge if you are taking the car on a road trip.

Perfect for our daily commute!
It is very reliable. I have not had any issue with charging or performance. It drives very smoothly and quietly. Also the interior is nice and all vegan! The technology included works great with our phones. We have not had any issue with this car. It is nice to not even know the cost of gas because I do not need it anymore!

Electric Cars Save Money and Time
I love the fact that it is an electric car, which is great for the environment. Moreover, the range of this car is TWICE that of my last EV, at 175 miles per charge.

Great but has some flaws that should be fixed in the next generation
The Nissan Leaf is great in that it is a reliable electric vehicle although the battery can run out quick. The front seats of the car are great while the back seats don't have any ac or chargers and can feel a bit cramped at times. When looking for an electric vehicle the Nissan Leaf is a great option.

Nissan leaf, great value sweet electric vehicle.
It is an electric vehicle so I am still getting used to the range. But I really love it. There no exhaust smell, I never have to go to gas stations. It also has a really smooth ride because there are no gears. I upgraded from the basic trim so I could get apple CarPlay which is really good for keeping me from touching my phone while driving. I am also excited about the tax credit for electric vehicles.
