1997 Nissan Pathfinder - Great dependable little Truck
This 1997 Nissan Pathfinder, 5 speed standard, was purchased in Tennessee and imported into Sarnia, Ontario, Canada in 2002 at 56,000 miles. I've owned it since 2007. (My daughter owned it for the 5 interim years. It now has 147,500 miles on it and I've had no problems other than regular maintenance. I've added a nice topper on the back and 15" chrome rimes with tires for summer. The original 14" rims have my snow tires. Tomorrow, May 8, 2019, I'll be giving it to my 17 year old grandson. It passed the required safety tests with flying colors. The only negative I have is the original spare that was mounted underneath at the back. Just a collector of dirt and rust. I now keep one of the alternate tires in the back for a spare. (The spare is still in good shape as far as the rubber, even though I once drove about 300 miles before I could get the good tire repaired. Good quality.) Of course, living in Ontario, Canada, I've had it rust-proofed every fall. Sure has paid off. I'm a little sad to see it go, but I'm glad it will still be in the family.
