I love the space and comfort that my Nissan provides for my large family for us to travel places together with everything we need to pack for our trips. It has been a huge improvement from my old cars which provided no space. I love it and I hope to keep this car for a long time. No mechanical issues yet.

Nissan pathfinder warranty.
I bought my Nissan from a Toyota dealership. It had a few problems at first but they fixed the car under the warranty. I am just glad I found the issues before the car warranty was up, then I would’ve been screwed. It is a very nice car and has a lot of space.

Nice truck with a few annoying flaws.
Overall I have been very satisfied with my vehicle except for the transmission droning noise and the a/c quitting. The air conditioner just stop pushing cool air this summer. Took it to a sears service center and was told it had oil leaking from one of the a/c pipes. I was told the work could not be fixed at sears and that I had to take it to the dealer to be fixed. I was told by several people that the cost could be quite expensive to fix. Nice leather interior with good amount of room. Fuel economy is not bad not great considering that it is SUV/CUV. Ride is very comfortable and confidence inspiring.

Great family and traveling vehicle altogether.
I love my vehicle. It is a great family vehicle. The only issues I have had with it is the handle broke off and I had to buy a new one to replace. It is very spacious, great for traveling. It has great speakers for listening to music with the kiddos. Also it drives so smooth.

Nissan pathfinder 2013 reliable car.
The vehicle drives great. It has a 3rd row which is nice for kids and storage too. When not in use. I haven't had a many major problems but a lot of my mechanical stuff went out. The visor lights, heated seats, steering wheel, back door automatic shut all went out around the same time. But overall, I am happy with the car.

Love the car and its amenities but mechanics/transmission issues are common.
I love the car and all the amenities. But the gear selector and transmission have major issues and are a minimum of 3000$ to fix. The gas mileage is good, but pathfinders are known for its transmission issues and it is not on recall. I love the extended rows. The car itself I love it is the mechanical issues that I hate.

Buyer beware of lemon. Expensive vehicle to maintain.
One month after purchase(2014), the transmission had to be replaced. The transmission had to be replaced again in 2019. Countless amount of costly repairs. I will never even consider purchasing another Nissan again. The only positive feature is that the vehicle is spacious.

That something will always need to be repaired.
I like that it is an SUV. I do not like that the hatch to the trunk gets stuck, and the button to open the trunk can get jammed. I dislike that it is a push button start instead of a key.

Very comfortable drive! Not what I expected of a pathfinder!
Loving my Nissan pathfinder. Comfortable to drive. Easy handling on the road. Love my backup camera! Double sunroof is very nice when you want some sunshine in the car. Heated seats front and back. Easy to put back seat down for extra cargo space. The only problem I have had with this vehicle was having to replace the transmission. Everything else has been great!

CVT transmission problems.
We bought it new off the lot and have had to take it in numerous times for transmission problems. Cvc transmission shakes when taking off. I found out there was a class action lawsuit filed on 2013 Nissan with CVT transmission. They’ve fixed it several times but every so often it shakes when I take off.

A great and utilitarian family car
Our Nissan Pathfinder has been the perfect family car. It has enough space in the back for our two large dogs or we can use the 3rd row seats when needed. It's comfortable and smooth for our everyday needs. The towing capabilities have met our needs for our open trailer or small camper.

I love the balance and style of the car.
Tends to have issues with the air conditioning. It is comfortable and I love the leather interior. There is also ample leg room in all the sections of the car. Fuel consumption is as expected for an SUV, though it costs more when compared with a sedan. I love the brand and the fact that I can connect my mobile devices to make and receive calls. It also has a sensor which prevents me from rear ending any object behind me and I find this super helpful.

Plenty of room, great on gas, great horsepower.
I love my Nissan pathfinder. I have not had to replace anything. I have never been stranded. The kids love the seat because they all recline and allows for more comfort. It will also get up and go. I was really shocked when driving my friends car that it did take off like mine does and I love that.

2013 Nissan pathfinder platinum.
I absolutely love this car. Great for children. Has the TVs behind the headrest so super easy for entertainment. Also the interior is leather so it is super easy to clean and maintain stainless. The car drives very smoothly so far only issue I had was a check engine light and it was just a sensor that needed to be replaced other than that again I absolutely love this car!

Ultimate mom of 1 plus dog car.
I love my car! However, we bought it in 2018, and we have had to replace the ac twice. Thank goodness for extended warranty! We have one toddler and a goldendoodle who travels with us a lot, and it is a great size for us! We will be looking to upgrade when we have a second kiddo! I feel like 2 car seats plus the doodle would make the car extremely cramped.

Platinum edition is outstanding.
I love my pathfinder. It handles well in all kinds of weather conditions. The third row seat is easy to put up and down. The back has plenty of room with the third row seat down. It does very well on gas mileage. I bought my pathfinder to replace a jeep I really loved. Best features of the pathfinder platinum edition are the heated seats in both the front and rear seats. The 3rd row does not have any heated seats. The 2nd row also has control over the air and heat in the back row. Living in a cold weather climate the heated steering wheel is always nice to have. Dual zone climate controls make everyone in the car feel comfortable. The platinum edition also gave cooling seats for the driver and the passenger seat.

It is very comfortable and spacious. I have had to replace two transmissions in seven years as there seems to be a problem with that years transmissions. Other than that, the performance is great and we have driven many long journeys in this car. The kids love the TV screens and I love all the features - heated seats, rear view camera sunroof/moonroof.

Rear hatch door hydraulics issues.
It's a great vehicle and has the seating area we need for our family. The hydraulics on the rear hatch are easily messed up by not always utilizing the push buttons and shutting it manually so it becomes necessary to hold and push it open after using the open buttons to make it stay open without shutting back down immediately.

Faulty transmissions and parts coming off the line! Corporate doing nothing.
Several recalls on airbags, there were electrical and transmission problems until it went out and Nissan refused to do anything about it. There was a recall campaign on the same year as mine and during the same time manufacturing but Nissan said my vehicle wasn't apart of the campaign. Corporate refused to fix my problem.

The new mom car, lots of legroom and easy folding seats to have even more room.
My pathfinder is great! It's got that perfect soccer mom vibe without having to drive a big van. Fits 8 people including the driver. Lots of legroom for passengers. Both rows of seats fold down, making it easier to move big loads of boxes or to go grocery shopping at Costco.

Pretty decent for what you pay for.
Having some electrical issues and I have had to repair all the window tracks from rotting out. No matter how many times they say they fix it I still have issues with the recall of the passenger airbag but had the room I need for my big family so that is very helpful. I know those are major issues but everything else is great.

Reliable and sporty; would buy again.
It is been a very reliable car overall; we've driven it cross country but use it primarily in the city and it is quite comfortable. There have been some minor issues with door handles and windows sticking but for the most part it is been an excellent vehicle.

The Nissan pathfinder is a wonderful mid-size SUV. I have now four children and they all fit very comfortably in it. We have taken it on a 12hr drive and rode very comfortable. It has never left us anywhere and has always been reliable. The gas mileage is also a plus for a mid-size SUV.

Vehicle is not what I expected.
This vehicle is not good in the snow. I seem to go through tired quickly, which are not cheap. Minor things seem to go wrong often which add up quickly when getting fixed. Once things start going on it they seem to go often. My heater has needed to be fixed three times.

The ups and downs of the Nissan pathfinder.
Overall the car is functionally ok, 22 miles a gallon but the inside when driving is very compact, hard the see your blind spots when driving and viewing the road can be difficult because of the think frame on both sides of the windows. The car has been reliable, it has never broken down after having it for 6 years.

The 2013 Nissan Pathfinder is an excellent family vehicle. With one young child and another on the way our family is not worried about finding space or having to buy a new vehicle to make room. For how large this SUV is, it still provides excellent mileage both on the highway and in the city. This year of Pathfinder has also proven to hold up well on gravel and rough terrain that we Traverse on our property. Overall a great vehicle for everyone.

Great on performance, reliability and many features are high quality. Only “issue” is comfort due to spacing/room alone. We have four children in car seats. So, the pathfinder lacks extra space. Grocery shopping can be a tight fit. With third row seating up—truck space is slim.

This is a great family vehicle.
We have had issues with the power window on the drivers side. Other than that, no major issues. I love driving the SUV. It is comfortable. I wish it had the captain chairs in the middle and the three seats in the back. The only thing it does not have that I wanted was the navigation n-s-e-w. Overall the vehicle has served us well.

This is a really good vehicle. It's has a beautiful interior. It's big and roomy. 2nd row as well as 3rd row very comfortable. The trim is sleek and modern. Good looking. It's extremely reliable. Great get up and go. Negative is navigation is limited. No Bluetooth GPS. Excellent speakers and radio. Negative can't plug phone into radio without buying an adapter.

Not as family friendly as hoped. Performance is good. Love the features of the platinum! Great reliability. Love the CVT transmission type. One issue we had was the visor breaking and saw many others have the same issue. Was easy to replace on our own but something to keep in mind.

My 2013 Nissan Pathfinder Platinum
My 2013 Nissan Pathfinder Platinum has had several recalls. Nissan has been great with the recalls and fixed them as they could. A few things I like about the Nissan Pathfinder is that everything such as the radio, air conditioning system, and radio screen is very easily accessible. A few things that I do not like about my Nissan Pathfinder is that there is not enough trunk space with the third row seats lifted up (although third row seating is a plus).Overall I really like my Nissan Pathfinder.

The price we paid for a 4 wheel drive is very reasonable and the 7 seater comes in handy.
It has blind spots because of the shape but has a very smooth ride. The a/c is nice and cold even in 110 degree weather!

Great family vehicle with tons of extras.
Comfortable with plenty of legroom in the second row, and the third row seats 2 easily but we rarely use it. My kids love the dual monitors and DVD player, and the dual panel moonroof. The car has a 360 degree camera and monitor which has improved my parallel parking game. Rides smoothly, if not a little big - feels like a minivan without the sliding doors and with only 2 kids it often feels a little too big for us.

My pathfinder includes heated and cold seating. Heated rear view mirrors, traction control, 4 wheel drive, has five seats and has the ability to have 7 since it has a third row. It is very reliable and good on gas especially if you travel a lot or go far distances often. It also has heated steering wheel which most cars do not have. If you need help getting somewhere it has navigation and it has a very good radio also.

Seats are extremely comfortable. Easy to clean interior. Spacious. 3 row seating for big families or big shopping trips. Good stereo system can be very loud if wanted. Good exterior lights for visibility. Great interior lights. Very safe if ever in an accident.

Versatility and beauty for anywhere I want to go!
I love the versatility of my Nissan pathfinder. I can comfortably seat seven. The seats fold down or lift up to accommodate anything that I need to fit inside, such as camping gear or my dogs. It has 4 wheel drive and will take me just about anywhere I want to go. It gets good gas mileage. It is sleek and looks nice. It has automatic windows and a decent stereo system. The most comfortable and smooth car!
My family and I absolutely love the pathfinder. There is enough room already with only two rows to fit the whole family, but the added row adds so much comfort and wiggle room. The performance of this vehicle is a huge amount greater than most of the cars I have ridden in. The added seat warmers in not only the front, but the second row of seats is very helpful for my family on the cold winter days too and from sports. I definitely recommended this car to anybody looking for a smooth, roomy ride!

I love this vehicle. The only problem I have with it is it stopped shifting out of park. I have to use the override button to shift out of park. Other than that I have no complaints. There is plenty, of room in the back for my two dogs. I love the third row seat and how, the middle seat moves back to give more leg room.

Pathfinder platinum has many accessories that make driving a luxury.
My pathfinder has leather interior and heating/cooling seats. It is extremely nice accessory for winter and summer. I have climate control as well for both passenger and driver that can be individualized. The pathfinder also has two TVs in rear passenger seats which makes long trips nice with two kids. It came with two headphones as well which allow the driver and front seat passenger to listen to music while the backseats can watch and listen to their movie. I have a Bose sound system which is a great condition. We bought the car used but not with a ton of mileage on it and so far it has ran like a dream. We had one issue just this year with our air conditioner blowing out which cost a hefty amount to fix but overall it functions perfectly and runs smooth on the highway and in town. It has a 2 wheel and 4 wheel drive which why we bought it. Since winters here can be icy.

Low maintenance 9 seat SUV.
Great low maintenance car, just change the oil and you good to go. The transmission is still going strong at 110k miles. Did not have any major issues in the 6 years. My friend has also the same car and did not have any issues. These cars are just super reliable.

I love the 4wd and space for 7 people. It looks really sharp from the side and is so versatile. The gas mileage is acceptable as well given its features. I like the gas mileage tracking and alerts for low tire pressure or time for oil change reminders. It could use more charging ports.

Versatility for Family on the Go!

Overall good car, will be buying another one.
Comfortable ride, had to replace CVT transmission in year 6, a/c cools fine but seems to struggle in the hottest summer months, electronic issue with rear passenger window that began in 2015, consistent battery issues (have had to replace the battery at least three times during the ownership of the vehicle) and seem to primarily originate with terminal contact problems. Replacing the battery terminals seems to have largely solved the problems, but occasionally I still have to 'jiggle' the wiring/contacts because my car won't start. Comfortable ride for 6 passengers, can squeeze 7. Have taken it on many road trips, with no complaints on long distances. Good mileage on gas for a three row SUV.

Transmission Issues
Transmission was recalled for replacement 12/2016. We were assured the issue with the transmission was reengineered and should not experience the slipping of CVT belt again. Sorry to report this is not true, once again, we have exactly the same slippage problem. This transmission is poorly engineered and Nissan will not assist with the repair of the second transmission. I will admit we drive a lot, but, we do not abuse our car.

I haven't had any issues with my pathfinder. My favorite feature is the USB port in the center console that allows me to play music from my iPhone. The vehicle is sensitive to the touch so it can get up and go, or it can stop in an instant.

Great family car or someone wanting a spacious SUV.
This car is awesome! Love the third row seats, heated leather, and dual climate control with rear climate control. There are several things that are not as great like the wiring in the power seats are faulty on the passenger side sometimes they work and others they do not and you get stuck in whatever position the seat was in. We have also found that there is a piece that is part of the brakes tends to get bent and will rub on the rotors and make a high pitched squeaking sound but is easily bent back into place.

Pathfinder can go Great Distances!
I wish that it had a better screen to view media/songs in and I wish it was Bluetooth also. I love that it's a very smooth car and it fits a great amount of people in it. It's perfect for a big family or for a big trunk space to put your dog in. This car is super reliable when it comes to driving long and short distances which is something I find very necessary in a car. I love the comfortability of the seats and how easy it is to clean.

The Nissan pathfinder is extremely reliable. It is low maintenance and parts are not expensive. It is a 7-seater and the seats are comfortable. It looks luxurious too. All of the back row seats can be put down for cargo room. The color is sparkly white.

Safe and easy ride prices are fair and coverage is good with the company.
I love the interior room. I like the versatility of use. I appreciated no hassle with warranty when I had to replace the transmission.

Great truck for hauling longer items and comfortable enough to carry 5 adults.

Exceptional color matte..
The car’s endurance is pretty much impressive, smooth driving on the road, protection from the interior and exterior with gas consumption coming in normal. Only downside with the vehicle is the at times leaking that gets produced while driving on roads.

Unreliable
I’ve owned Nissans for years. Would never buy another one. Air conditioning went out after 3 years. Transmission went out after 5 years. Visors are extremely poor design. Had them replaced under warranty, then refused to use the new ones, but they STILL broke. They fall down and obstruct view. It is roomy, and gets decent gas mileage- but unless you are a mechanic, I’d avoid this car.

I love the space in my pathfinder and the ease of driving on the road.
I wish the gas mileage was better and the computer was more functional. There are times when a maintenance light will come on for no reason such as "tire pressure" or "check engine light". The tire pressure light comes on when the temp outside changes, and the engine light comes on when I put cheap gas in the truck.

Nissan pathfinder: not my recommended vehicle.
It is little things that a falling apart. I had to replace both front door handles. The sun visor on the driver side. The hatch door opener broke. Engine not running smooth. Too pricey for the things that are constantly breaking. I would not buy another pathfinder, if I had my preference.

Comfortable and roomy the technology inside is easy to use not too complicated.
Great vehicle for people with big family a really have a lot of space and really nice design I just do not like the fact that it does not hold so well when it snow. But overall great car, we enjoy having some great family trip on that car and my kids love the fact that is very spacious also.

This pathfinder keeps us safe and keeps us feeling safe.
My pathfinder has been a great vehicle, plenty of room for kids and traveling. We use it in town and on our outdoor adventures. I am so glad we have the backup camera, I depend on that a lot! Our pathfinder makes us feel very safe on the road, we use this vehicle every day and it has been totally reliable. The gas mileage is pretty good for it being a SUV. Our pathfinder also has the third row seating which helps if we have more people with us or have a lot of stuff with us. The controls on the steering wheel is a big help along with the Bluetooth capabilities. Would definitely recommend to anyone!

It has seat warmers which is very neat. I like it a lot.
I have no problems with the car it is a very good car and it is dependable and spacious for big family. It is a very nice car that gets us where we need to be and we have had not had any issues with it yet. It is great for road trips and leaves enough space for everyone to not get cramped.

The car Was not built well. It has computer issues and there is always something needing to be fixed
The car is too big and challenging to park. It also has horrible blind spots and gets terrible gas mileage. It does have plenty of room for people to sit and for moving stuff.

Smooth ride with plenty of space
I have had my car for over 2 years now and have had no issues, it runs smooth and has a lot of space. It was in an accident over a year ago but we were able to salvage the car. Since then, it still runs well, even on long road trips. I get great gas mileage and our family is able to grow with this vehicle. There is plenty of space for our newborn son and 2 large breed dogs. I would get another pathfinder in a heartbeat.

Transmission
Very nice and comfortable except for the fact that mine has only 27k miles and the transmission went out already. Also not so great with families more than 5 people, very little leg room on the back and hard to get to. Great job nissan! :(

Best midsize SUV for its class.
This is an overall great SUV. The handling is great. The best part is even though Nissan seemed to have a lot of trouble I haven't had any issues with my car outside of regular maintenance. Surprisingly for a mid size SUV the vehicle also gets really good gas mileage. I am able to get from California to Las Vegas nevada on one tank of gas. Another great feature the car is having a DVD player in it built on to the back of the headsets so kids can watched their movies on road trips. The ecossaise comes equipped with GPS navigation and rear camera so you are backing up you do not run into things.

I like having the third row for seating. I dislike not having a lot of trunk space when the third row is up. I also wish music from my phone could be played using Bluetooth and not have to be plugged in.
If you park the car on an incline pay close attention to the gas gauge miles it lists. It will add extra miles to the number that you do not have.
