Reliable car for someone who does not want a high maintenance or flashy vehicle.
I haven't had any problems with it since I bought it (used) and it is reliable. It gets great gas mileage for being a 2008 model. It is got a roomy trunk and I like the fabric seats. Everything in the car is very user-friendly. It does have a bit of a bumpy ride sometimes compared to other vehicles I have driven in, but that would probably be my only (very slight) complaint.

Overview of comfort and reliability.
My Nissan Sentra is not my dream car. I bought it because it was convenient. It drives well and has lasted over ten years. It does have a few transmission issues but it is comfortable and clean. It gets great gas mileage and is cheap to upkeep. Overall, I enjoy the car.

Fantastic car. Minor cosmetic issues. Still runs beautifully.
Bought used with 80k miles on it. Lovely car. Great gas mileage. Smooth ride. Just has some issues cosmetically with the rubber seals peeling off and the radio button falling out. Very spacious interior and lots of trunk space. I am extremely happy with this vehicle and highly recommend it.

Nissan Sentra a car for everyone.
My car is very reliable and always had been. When I bought Bluetooth was fairly new but it still works very well. For it is age there are not major problems. Could get more comfort in an Altima but well worth the price. The 4 cylinder engine is peppy.

Decent car for the money.
This car doesn't have fully automatic steering, which is kind of a pain at first, but I eventually got used to it. It's pretty reliable for the most part. Does go through gas kind of quickly.

Nissan used parts - review.
We bought the car used in 2013, and about a year later, the engine died. We were able to find a used engine on eBay for 400 dollars, and it has been working ever since! So the great thing about this car is that you are usually able to find parts for really cheap!

Used Nissan sentra is reliable but not overwhelming.
Bought used and it has been fairly reliable up to the last 3 months when the engine started acting up. The size of the car is good for the one person that primarily used the car. A new CD player would be nice. The gas mileage is good when the engine is running nas it should.

Reliable and Sturdy Nissan Sentra is the way to go!
I've had my car for 10 years and it has been extremely reliable. The only issues I've experienced has been the air conditioning going out. It is comfortable and the inside has all of the modern features you could possibly want.

Super little car with great mileage.
We bought the car to be towed behind our rd. Purchased used we did expect good mileage but this little car far surpasses anything we thought. We average 35 mpg when we do drive it and the car has been driven (not towed) across country three times now without any issues.

Great everyday car to work or for college students or single mother.
Bucket seats engine good as long as it is maintain. Back seat is a little small can fit 2 adults but no more than that. Fits 3 kids well.

It's not your grandmother's Sentra. This is the SE-R Spec V model. It has a 2.5 liter 4 cylinder engine with a 6 speed manual transmission.
It's a lot of fun to drive. Has great power for a 4 cylinder engine. It has a small gas tank so I don't spend a lot of money on gas. I am very disappointed that Nissan stopped building this particular model in 2011.

It is very dependable. I bought it used and have put over 50,000 miles on it after buying it with 70,000 already on it.
I like that is a 4-door vehicle but it is a little too big for just one person to drive around. I wish I had a smaller 4-door car that was better on gas mileage. I would prefer to have an electric vehicle.

My Nissan sentra is used 95% of the time. The only time we'll use the Toyota SUV.
I don't really have any problems with my vehicle, none that cannot help anyway. As soon as my 'check engine' light comes on I take it to the nearest autozone & let them run a test on it to see what the problem might be. As far as the performance & reliability are concerned, if you stay on top of your oil changes, tire rotations, tune ups, & the cleanliness of the vehicle, your vehicle will stay running like new. A lot of people do not pay attention to the tire rotations, but that is one of the most important features, besides the oil change, because your tires will last a whole lot longer. So, if you stay on top of all maintenance issues for the most part, the comfort of the vehicle will fall into place.

2008 Nissan Sentra with sensor locks and keyless start.
Nissan Sentra S are really great commuter/student cars. They get great gas mileage, and you can really rack up miles without worrying. I have only ever owned a Nissan Sentra, and I love them. I have had my current one for a little over a year, and it has about 233000 miles. It does use some oil now, so I have to keep it checked and filled, but other than that it is great.

I like the interior space and color of the car. It rides very quiet and smooth. I don't like the way the previous owner did not take care of things like routine oil changes.I have had to do minor repairs that probably would not need to be done. But, it is easy to get parts for!
The transmission is different,it doesn't shift the way other cars do.

Upgrading to a 2008 Nissan Sentra
Having upgraded recently to this car from what I previously had, I honestly cannot think of anything negative to say! The car has great space, great gas mileage, and the features are all around wonderful. It's great for someone wanting a spacious car that's not bad on gas mileage and also has quite a bit of pep to it's step when you need it!

The front panels are a little wide and it sometimes causes a blind spot. This is my only complaint about my car. Something I really didn't notice in my test drive. If I would've noticed it earlier it might have swayed me to look at similar 4 door makes and models.

My Nissan Sentra is very reliable and performs well. Haven't had any issues with it and it's a 2008. One small issue I have had with my past two Sentra is the tire check light comes on and never turns off again even if the tires are fully inflated.

I love how practical, comfortable and spacious is this car.
I love this car, it is really spacious and comfortable inside even though is a small car. It has radio AM/FM, CD player and easy to understand Air conditioning controls. It is really smooth to drive, reliable, gas efficient, great trunk space, great engine low maintenance. Perfect for parking in small spaces. Downside would be that is a small engine, therefore with too much weight in it or going uphill you can hear the engine struggling a little.

Happy with my Nissan sentra.
I am happy with my Nissan sentra. I find the interior comfortable though a little cramped in the back seat. The ride is good but with the smaller tires you do feel the bumps in the road. The gas mileage is good. I believe I would purchase another Nissan but I might go with a little larger model (Altima) if budget allowed.

Spacious in all aspects of the car
I have had the car for about 8 years, and it has gotten me a lot of places. It is a very reliable cars and I have not had very many issues with it. The gas tank lasts a while and I can get a lot of miles out of each gallon. The car itself is quite spacious with it being only a five seater. I love how big the trunk is too. I am able to fit two large suitcases plus 3 carry-on bags. Overall, I highly recommend the Nissan Sentra.

A typical gas saver and easy to park anywhere.
Little things break like the power window buttons. Also my radio buttons. Great on gas. Not a bad little car. I haven't had any major issues except my mass airflow sensor broke. Was able to repair it. I have had my car for a while now and has not let me completely down yet. I love the newer models.

My vehicle was in bad shape, after getting a lot of work done, it now runs fine.
My vehicle was pre owned so naturally it had some problems such as a bad fuel pump, and air mass flow sensor; also had to replace coils and shock, had a bad battery got a new one; did slot of fixing to this car. Older model cars come with a lot of problems.

Nissan go anywhere that you wish
I enjoy the vehicle. I think that the vehicle is great on gas and it is a smooth ride. The only thing I do not like about the car is the sound it makes when it starts, however, that might just be from old age. I just got the car recently and so far everything has been great. The other thing I do not like about the car is the radio, but again that is from old age. The car runs well and it is an adventure car for my boyfriend and I.

Coil is in the compressor. It will cost over $800 to fix air conditioner.
I have no air conditioner that works. I have been told I need a new coil. The coil is inside the compressor. It is too expensive for me to fix. When the weather changes, the tire light comes on. Sometimes when I turn my steering wheel, the music changes station.

Dependable transportation
I love the gas mileage, wish it was a little bigger, but great for someone who does not need the extra space. I replaced the clutch and flywheel at 125,000 miles, but at that mileage I suppose that isn't unexpected. Comfort wise its average, nothing great about it, but nothing terrible to complain about either. Basic features for the most part, parts are not overly expensive.

I love my Nissan Sentra! I've had it for a little over 10 years & it's still going strong! I've never had any major issues with it aside from the typical car issues like oil changes, brake pads etc. It drives really smoothly still after all this time. The trunk has a ton of room & I love the no key start engine. However, it would be nice to have the luxuries of a rear view camera & heated seats but those come at a cost & I'm fine without them for now.

The transmission is rebuilt. The transmission in the car went out last October and it now has a rebuilt transmission.

Good vehicle aside from the hood starting to peel.
Generally I really like my vehicle. My only complaint is that the paint of the hood has started to peel and rust. I've been in no accidents so not sure what caused this to happen. The rest of the car is fine. More spacious inside than the outside looks and i enjoy driving it.

Some little problems I have noticed.
Steering wheel is uncomfortable for your hands in two spots. Wipers stop on leave a film in the line of sight for the driver. End is cheap - car shakes at higher speeds.

The low tire light has come on a while ago and has never gone off.
My car is fairly reliable. I have noticed that the transmission is sticking a bit lately and have added some solution to is so it will not. I have not had many problems with it. The only major thing that has gone wrong with it is the started went on it and had to have it replaced. I would of done it myself but finding the part is sometimes it is hard to find those parts.

Very reliable and comfortable
I really enjoy my vehicle even though it is not my preferred car nor did I pick it but it has been very reliable for me. The performance on it has been very good. Recently I have run into trouble with the air conditioning but that wasn't anything to major to complain about. I was able to fix it very quickly and cost effectively. The car itself is also very comfortable. The features on it aren't too up to date but they aren't completely out of date. Overall, the car has done me a great solid and I have been able to depend on it heavily.

Simple, has a roomy front passenger and rear passenger seat.
Synthetic oil 5 qt engine, tends to blow piston rods even with a good amount of oil in it. Door lock buttons tend to stick and break. Error code P420 oxygen intake tends to be problematic and throw a code via service/check engine light on. Engine mounts and transmission mounts known to become very loose very often and in result leads to undercarriage shroud to get melted and or shredded from being pressed down from engine jerking and moving from being loose.

It sucks. The tire pressure light has been on for years because of faulty sensors.
Cosmetically it looks like c**p. Peeling paint, hubcaps peeling and they rattle. Covers of mirrors on my visions have broken off.

In term of performance, it just a sedan car so it runs normally but after 10 years, the tire alignment already out of its proportion. It is reliable car for my daily use which is mostly go back and forth to my workplace. The best part of my car is the speaker, Bose. The bass sound comes from it makes me alive.

Buy a Nissan, they are reliable!
It is a very reliable car and I have had it for many years. I would always put my trust in a Nissan. It might be a little car but it has gotten me through rough weather.

Best gas mileage i've ever had from a car that i have owned
Wonderful performance, the gas mileage has never let me down and aside from standard maintenance no other problems
