The Nissan sentra-surprising capability in a smaller car!
My sentra has been nice. It has surprising pick up and is never a problem to get up to freeway speeds. As for comfort I have driven several times to visit family in Dallas, TX a four hour drive. I usually pop some music on and relax for the drive. One thing that I haven't tried is the additional 'sport' mode which I assume tightens up the responsiveness of the car. I haven't really tried that yet because the steering is already tight and the shows enough power to get me where I am going even with big trucks on the road. I have tried the 'eco' mode which controls how fast you can get off the line at traffic lights and helps save fuel. So far I haven't had any problems with it and I can say that I really enjoy driving it on my daily commute and my travels out of town. Speaking of which when I have passengers they enjoy the backseat room and the trunk is able to carry a big load.
2017 Nissan Sentra review
My vehicle has always had a squeaking noise on the trunk leaks water. The driver side door leather interior has already tore and began to burst open even more. My Nissan also had a noise on the front driver side wheel. The motor seem to be performing well and it gets good miles per gallon of gas. It's a 4 cylinder so it doesn't keep up with bigger engines on the highway. The color is white and the inside is black. The seats appear to be made of good quality interior. It need to have a light that pops on in the floorboard at night when the door is open and also in the glove box. The alarm system should beep when the owner is far away from the vehicle instead of needing to be real close. Overall, the vehicle cost a lot more than it is really valued at.
Its a good starter vehicle, but it loses value quickly.
The gas mileage is pretty good. I find myself spending less to fill up than some people with similar size cars.
It's fairly comfortable to drive for the size, but passengers can't make the same chair adjustments as the driver so taller or larger passengers may not enjoy the ride as much.
Also, the vehicle has a bit of drag during acceleration unless sport mode is active while eco mode does seem to help conserve gas to some degree.
I hate that the Bluetooth function does not allow music to be played; only phone call functionalities are allowed.
I also wish the center console was larger for my phone and had better USB port locations for passengers, and it would be nice if there were cup holders in the back seat area.
a good vehicle choice when shopping for an inexpensive, reliable car.
My 2017 Nissan Sentra has served me well so far. It is the standard, base model with no upgraded features. It is very basic but gets the job done. The interior is not very comfortable. Any drive over an hour long gets very uncomfortable for me. The car gets very good gas mileage and is inexpensive to fill up. It accelerates decently. Trunk and back seat are decent size. I have a one year old daughter and getting her in and out of the car seat can be difficult but it is easy to clip in. For the price point of my car, I am very happy with its performance. It is a great option when shopping for an inexpensive vehicle with no bells and whistles
My vehicle is graphite blue. It has a black interior and has navigation system
Hello! I own a 2017 Nissan Sentra and I absolutely love it! I have had no problems at all with this vehicle. I have never had to put it in the shop at all. There are a couple different options when choosing to buy a Nissan sentra. I chose to have the automatic seat buttons, which allow the operator to be able to position the chair however they feel comfortable. I also chose to have the touch screen radio. This also comes with a GPS and navigation system. Now I typically use my navigation system at least 4 to 5 times per week. Overall, this is a great choice in vehicle. I highly recommend.
I love that my Nissan is a very safe and reliable car with great gas mileage!!
I love my 2017 Nissan Sentra. It is a very reliable car and it's just the right size for me. I've always love the Nissan, this is actually my second one. They are very good on gas, which is perfect because I love to drive to a lot of places. I would definitely recommend getting one of these cars, they are really safe and reliable and they last a very long time, my old Nissan car was a 1998 and it still ran like it was brand new, up until I upgraded it! I just love the interior in this car including the radio, the aux/ USB slots and the Bluetooth to make it hands free and safer to drive.
Comfortable Economical 2017 Nissan Sentra
It's the basic sentra with no add ons but really cute and sporty. Has great gas mileage and reasonable insurance coverage. Convenient when needing small parking spaces or trying to get into a small spot. I would recommend for a 1st time car buyer or gift for retired mother or grandmother. I love the eco button which also helps with gas mileage along with the sport button which allows you to pick up speed on the open road. The cloth seats are comfortable year round and the interior is easy to clean. I love Nissan cars and would recommend everyone to purchase one at least once in life.
The dependability of the Nissan Sentra
It's really good on gas and comfortable. I like the rate at which it picks up speed. I mainly use it to drive to work and back and around town. I haven't had any mechanical issues with it so far, hopefully this doesn't change. Some drawbacks are that is has a 10 gallon tank. This tricks you into believing that it is great on gas, but it really just has a small gas tank. I also got into a car accident and it wasn't the most stable or sturdiest car to handle this type of event. It's been great to have this car, but I recommend that you drive safe
The gas tank is small but you get awesome mpg anywhere.
This car is very reliable. I have never had an issues driving it or anything. This year model was the first of the Sentras that really changed. It looks like a small Altima which I do like. The inside could be a little nicer. It's a 2017 but no push start, which I don't like that. There is no touch screen in the vehicle either. That's another thing I would change. Besides that it runs great. I get awesome gas mileage as well. Around town I keep it around 33 mpg.
Four door comfortable car.
I love my car, I lease my car's so this is the fourth sentra that I have had. I cannot say enough good things about it. The car gets great gas mileage, it is comfortable when driving and easy to operate. It's a four door so it is convenient for me to get my daughter in and out. Despite being a smaller car, the trunk is spacious and the back seats fold down which is a plus. The lease payments are inexpensive which is a plus. I highly recommend this vehicle.
