Very reliable, just routine preventive maintenance and have had no problems. Never have had a time where it refused to start, always has gotten me to work, or wherever I wanted to go. I would replace this vehicle with a new one when the time comes.
It has a huge cab with tons of space for passengers. The engine provides more than enough power. Also, the engine and transmission have been sold with no problems, currently at 100,000 miles. Poor fuel economy. The size of the bed in the four door model is quite small.
My Titan has a comfortable interior and is fully loaded with navigation, satellite radio, DVD, and audio package. Also off-road capability and towing capabilities are more than adequate and it has been extremely reliable and has not left me stranded so far.
Its runs very good. It drinks gas and I think the are very go trucks. They are very compact trucks and if you have the 2 door like I do they are small truck so go for the 4 door. You could never go wrong with a titan.
Drives great, has great handling, lots of horsepower, decent on gas, easy to reach the oil filter for an oil change and I like the hooks in the back of the truck bed. Overall it is a very nice truck.
The gas mileage is not that great inside city. When your out on the highway it is better, but if you hit 75 like on interstate it drinks a lot of fuel. I average 14 miles per gallon. I just wish I could have gotten better mileage while still having the pulling power, now the payload is not that great either, only 1500 lbs.
The Titan provides tons of power but poor fuel economy. My XE four door Nissan Titan has a small bed due to the four door cab. The silver paint on the roof of the cab has faded pretty bad. The cons for this truck are minor in my opinion.
The fuel mileage is lower than other vehicles however I bought a full size truck and not a Prius. Also the factory clear coat wears off and is destroyed by the sun easily so my truck has been repainted because of it.
It drinks gas it doesn't get the gas mileage that it suppose to get. I think it should have better gas mileage than what it does. The back seat is very small to where there is no leg room for the person to move around my kids to be very squashed back there.
Buying parts for my truck are expensive, I do not like that the starter is located in the center of the engine. The interior is falling apart and it is hard to keep cold air flowing through the a/c vents.
The 2006 Nissan Titan has an average owner rating of 4.40 out of 5 which ranks it #8 of 20 other Full Size Pickup Trucks.
