WORST THING YOU CAN DO TO YOURSELF. UNDERPOWERED MONEYPIT
It's gone through Two Engines and is looking at a third with 300K on it. The first one, I ran Royal Purple full synthetic on 6,000 miles. I got exactly 131,000 miles out of it. Bit the dust going up I-75 in Kentucky. The 2nd one is a Jasper rebuild. Jasper does good work, which kind of proves the 3.6 is just not engine enough to haul the poundage they claim you can do with this vehicle. It started chattering at 125,000 miles (total on the truck at this time, 256,000 miles). These are highway miles, mind you. Not start stop start stop of town/delivery driving. Promaster's Transmission (I am on my 2nd transmission as well) .. As it approaches 100K is sluggish, gets hot, has little gumption up the Appalachians and the Rocky Mountains laughs at this POS. We (a friend and I ) bought 5 of these from a dealership in Wassau Wisconsin. ALL FIVE had to have Engines replaced. The one I have is the only one on the road and it's being babied because the top end is chattering. Again. Pieces of metal in my oil filter AGAIN. Same thing happened with the first engine. Opened it up and , just wow....two of the Cam lobes were filed down to a razor thin sliver. As for the rest of the truck, this thing also has terrible problems keeping headlights burning. Don't even know how many I've replaced, but I've gotten d**n good at it. Can do it in the dark on the side of the road. Yep, you'd better be prepared to do that yourself. You will run into it. The Front End just eats them up tires. I've gone to just rotating front left to front right, and keeping the rear tires in the rear, with the same swap from side to side. Doing it that way I can get as much as 170,000 out of a pair of Michelin's. Here's another big Pain with the Promaster.. This truck goes through cooling fans. This truck has eaten four of them already. I've got every record of work done on this truck. It's my livelihood and now I am stuck nursing it during this business shut down/comeback in a 3 state area when I am used to running nationwide. SO much more I could say, but the best piece of advice I could give is Stay. The. Hell. Away. From. This. Piece. Of. Garbage....or buy one and plan on staying close to home and near a repair facility.

Do not buy!
This vehicle is so incredibly unreliable. I have had engine trouble, Transmission problems, Electrical problems, had to rebuild valve train, rebuild transmission at 62,000 miles, brake system problems, Excessive wear on tires and now Im having oil leaks in 3 places: Valve covers, Timing chain cover and Transmission. If only Toyota made a tall cargo van. It’s apparent that Ram knows how bad these vehicles and they have not offered to cover any of the above problems Note: I never tow and I don’t carry anything that is heavy. To call this a commercial vehicle is a joke I will never buy any Mopar product ever again. Extremely dissatisfied customer Bill Scalio

This this vehicle should be covered under the Lemon Law the whole Fleet do not purchase a Ram ProMaster
Problems problems too numerous to mention all. Let's start I have a 2016 Ram ProMaster Diesel words cannot express my absolute hate of this vehicle it breaks down weekly it literally has ruined me financially I've called Dodge and RAM to complain on deaf ears. The diesel particulate filter went out $4,500 part ,starter went out, alternator went out, battery, transmission. Turbo. The parking brake alarm will not go , the slider will not open from either inside or outside, the computer locked me inside the vehicle I could not get out I broke a window, the hill holder clutch does work properly, both of my key fobs broke $400 a piece, the vehicle did come equipped with a reverse camera that you can only access when the vehicle is in reverse there are no rear windows on this it would be nice to flip a switch and look behind me every once in awhile down the freeway there's a huge blind spot behind me I can't see anything but know that the Geniuses at Fiat who designed it then think about that huh and these are just things I'm thinking off the cup I didn't write any of this down please do yourself a favor going by a Ford go by Chevy hell even go buy a Buick LOL as I said in the beginning this vehicle has literally ruined me financially I fucked I'm in the sink so deep and the narcissistic owners of these companies do not care they just ruined a hard-working American by selling a piece of s**t and they knew it before they were sold it they'll do anything to cover it up they won't even call me back f*****g assholes. I'm going to do everything in my power to keep the people from buying Mopar Dodge Ram products it's a disgrace what these companies do two hard-working Americans and they're advertising bulshit I'm ruined at 60 years old after working all my life no it's not warrantied I bought it used. The worst decision in my life literally it is the worst decision I've ever made in my life is to buy a Dodge Ram Mopar product. I truly think I will have a heart attack just from putting the keys in ignition and not knowing what it'll do and listening to all buzzers and warning lights and bulshit that you can't turn off on this piece of s**t f*****g piece of s**t vehicle not apologizing for the customer just the way I talk you don't like it don't read it. I did not I hope everybody out there I hope their vehicles run fine never give him a problem get great gas mileage and don't wear out the tires are the brakes God bless everyone I know you'll have better luck with whatever you get as long as it's not a Dodge Ram Mopar product

The mileage is great and gets me to where I need to go. It is roomy.
It drives smooth and the seat adjustments are great. Radio works well and has Bluetooth. Heated seats and air conditioner is great. Mileage is amazing and the back seats display a lot of room for passengers. The back seats fold down and the console is durable for many needs.
