We enjoy the Sunroof especially in the summer and evenings. The heating system is ample for our needs through cold air comes under front passenger seat. The vehicle requires little maintenance. Gas to mileage is good.
Small car, easy to drive in tight spaces. The back seat is surprisingly spacious for being a two door car. If you love hatchbacks, it will be a good trunk for you to store things inside. Four people can drive inside of this car comfortably and enjoy the experience the car has to offer.
The pros if the vehicle are it is made by Toyota, it is cheap and made for the younger buyers. The cons are that the interior is cheaply made and the seats are not good quality after a couple years they wear down.
Pros: car rides well in heavy traffic, moves smoothly. Air conditioning is very good. Mileage and gas very good especially during long trips state wide. No major issues with repairs. Trunk holds a lot of groceries.
It is reliable. The gas is affordable. It is small and easy to drive. It is cute. It is stylish. It drives smoothly. It has a spacious backseat and nice sized trunk. It is easy to drive. The sound system is nice.
Good on gas and attracting. Hard to use mirrors, lots of blind spots. Have not had many repairs beside basic maintenance. Synthetic oil changes every 5000 miles run about 100 dollars. Besides that, not many issues or repairs.
The seats are uncomfortable. The radio/audio can be tricky to operate and configure. There are features I don't like that makes it very irritating to use sometimes when using Bluetooth. There is cold air under passenger front seat that is hard to control in the winter.
Since it is a small car, it is probably not the most save option on the market. If you were to collide with an 18-wheeler, you are not going to have a good time. Also there are many blind spots as if it were a small truck with big posts at the back of the car making it hard to see the blind spots while changing lanes.
Cheap interior, seats get worn out after a couple years or wear. The side panels in the door start to sink the clips break easily. The seats stain very easily. The plastic material that is inside needs to be updated.
Selecting music true Bluetooth from phones can be challenging. Car turns off something while driving or waiting for a light to change. Seats are uncomfortable forcing your knee into uncomfortable position forward, in 5ft 2 inches. On a bumpy road the car can be very uncomfortable and painful.
It is a bit small. It does not have the GPS installed into the radio system automatically. It does not go too fast even though it has good horsepower. The paint chips easily. The antenna is broken unfortunately.
Blind spots are terrible. It's also super low to the ground and gets scuffed up all the time. Hate only having 2 doors. Want four. Sunroof is nice, but too windy if open and windows are down. Could get more miles to the gallon. Have to fill up twice a week.
The 2014 Scion tC has an average owner rating of 4.56 out of 5 which ranks it #8 of 39 other Small Cars.
