2016 matte gray scion tc base.
I am very pleased with my 2016 scion tc! It gets great gas mileage at 26 sometimes 27 mpg!! It is a sports car so it is 2 door and also has a hatchback. It looks like it would be small inside, but actually has more room in the back seats, and also in the front seats, than I ever imagined!! I'drives super smooth, and can handle great speeds! I would not recommend this car for a new driver, for a young driver, nor an inexperienced driver due to it being a sports car and the person trying to do more than they are capable of.

Great car, wouldn't change a thing about it.
There is not any really big problem with my car. It is the last year of production so if you want one better act fast or your chance will go away. Sound system is great with this vehicle and same with performance. Aftermarket products are also great with the car. Go get it.

Sleek small and easy to zip around in.
I have not had many issues with my car. I drive a lot and as long as my oil changes are done on time there are no problems. It has never broke down. The only thing people need to watch out for is the lower profile. I ran over a traffic cone and it took a chunk out of the front which was immediately replaced. It is not very kid friendly because it is only 2 doors. It is easy to clean and keep up. I absolutely love my car after 4 years and would most definitely purchase it again and would recommend it.

The most important thing I would tell others is that it takes a lot of gas.
Dislike how fast it goes through gas. Love the style and drive of the car. It makes nice purring noises as well.

The scion tc release series is a more “rare” car.
The scion has an incredible amount of back seat space. This makes having a child a lot easier. The seats are very comfortable and easy to maintain. The weather mats the car came with make winters in Maine less messy. The car has never minimal blind spots which makes highway driving significantly easier.

Great affordable sporty car!
The scion tc is a reliable car. Very good on gas. One of my favorite features is the hatchback trunk. Being able to fold the back seats is a great feature. I have been able to fit large ikea boxes without having to move either front seats forward. The car drives smoothly and it is fast. One thing I am not a big fan of is the shift gear system. I bought the car new and even from the beginning it takes a bit of effort to shift into certain gears. I have driven other manual cars and never had this issue. Another thing I wish the car had was a solid sunroof cover. The car comes with a retractable type fabric. I might be picky but I feel like it takes away from the quality look of the car. Overall the car has been a great investment.

The sporty scion tc with the double sunroof.
I personally have no issues with this vehicle. Simply for the fact it is great on gas. I go to the gas station put $10 dollars in and the car is at half a tank. $20 dollars usually fills her up and I can travel about 2 in half hours before I have to refuel my car. The performance is amazing. The scion is great on mileage and the inside has great features as well. This would include the speakers and seating. The seating is so sporty with its bucket seats and they are really comfy as well. Plus it has a few extra inside perks that I personally cannot get enough of. Such as: my double sunroof and my radio. What makes my sunroof so awesome is that it is tented. So you can see the outside world without the sun blasting in your face. Also it is a double sunroof which not only allows the driver to feel the breeze but the back seat passengers as well. My radio is pretty awesome too. It has this protective slide that glides over it to hide it from thieves. It is really nice to feel like I have extra protection from the inside. All in all it's a great car!

Scion tc 2016 4 cylinder coupe with great sound system and sporty body.
Performance is great. Get up and go is better than other 4 cylinders I have drove. Built in sound system is the best part. Very loud great bass. Gas mileage is average. Body is very unique and stands out with its sporty look. Interior is small but not cramped in the front and in the back it has less headroom but still spacious. Hatchback design is great as well for a car this size. Back seats also fold down for large items.

Very fast, uses a lot of gas.
I like the sound system, style, and speed that this cars provides. When choosing a car, these features drew me in. After having it for 3 years, I now hate the car. The gas mileage is terrible and the interior is cheap. There are a couple functions that I have been told cannot be fixed.

It's a cheap and kinda fun car.
The car is very reliable, and was good value when I bought it. However, it is slow, and the performance is very lackluster, especially when compared with other competitors.

There is nothing else to say.
Good on gas. Good pick up, nice looking, change oil every 10, 000 miles good performance. There is nothing else to say.

Gas mileage is great (at least compared to the subaru i previously had), driving dynamics are nothing special but definitely more fun than most other toyota products. Rides a little firmer than expected but still comfortable and interior has great space (i’m 6’ 1”, heavyset, and can fit in the back seat with ample space) only complaints are the rather large blind spot created by the thick C pillar and a few extra noises that come from the double sunroof. Hoping for many many great years to come

It is a hatchback the seat folds down it can fit a decent amount of cargo.
I do not like the fact that there are no updates for the pioneer radio which is a nice radio otherwise. I have no other complaints about the car it has been reliable and drives well. I have not had any problems with it. I will note it requires synthetic oil which is more expensive and the tires are expensive. Something I did not consider or know when I made the purchase.

Is The 2016 Scion tC A Good Car?

Yes. Very nice and safe. Drive is nice, loud exhaust which some people do not like but I do. Back seat is very spacious.

How Reliable Is The 2016 Scion tC?

It does not have any problems that I know of. It is reliable and I am hoping to have it for a long time.
Andrea W.
It has been very reliable for me and I have had no problems with it at all. I would say the only downside would be that it doesn’t have immediate take off when accelerating.
Veronica H.

Is The 2016 Scion tC A Good Value?

My scion tc cost about $22,000. I do not feel like it is worth that much but I do not have the best of credit and my down payment was very minimum.
Andrea W.
I paid $22,000. I believe it is a good value. Oil change is only required every 10 thousand miles which is very convenient.
