I love my scion xa. . . 126, 000 Miles and still going strong!
I take my car in for regular maintenance with a repairman I trust. It has performed well for me since 2004. It is a little rough of a ride (which I am used to but others notice it). If you are pumping gas, you must hold the nozzle. . . You cannot just rest it in and let it self pump - the nozzle will not stay in. It is the best car for the money.

Scion xa 2004 bright orange and black in color, very reliable.
My car is a very dependable fuel efficient gas saver vehicle it is orange and black and it is nickname nemo from the color of it. It gets great gas mileage and I haven't had no major problems with it other than routine maintenance such as oil change and tire replacement and rotated.

Reliability
I bought a 2004 scion xa November 4, 2010. She had 5200 miles on her As of today August 10, 2020 she has over 250,000 miles. She handles well in the 5 Maine seasons (mud season is our 5th season) This little car is fun to drive and great for hauling ,as the back seats fold down. Having a used car last almost 10 years is probably unheard of these days. When it comes time for another can it can only be a Scion xa

It is good on gas it has a lot of miles and still runs good, it is comfortable.
It just screeches when I turn on the air right when I turn on the car and the windows are not working 100%, but other than that I love my little car, it is good on gas and it really zooms, it has colored lights on the radio face and in the cup holders and you can change the colors. I wish the seat would go back a tad more, but even though I am 5'7' and have back problems it is the most comfortable car to drive especially long distances.

It is not a sports car. Does not speed up or switch gears super quickly.
It is compact. Gets good gas mileage. Gets from point a to b. Relatively cheap to upkeep.

My thoughts on Scion xa 2004
Make a strange sounds sometimes and it feels a bit cheap. It has an aux which is great. It's acceleration is a bit slow but has great brakes. It's small so it's easy to park in most places but has enough space to fit a whole family. The fuel lasts about 5 days if you fill up the tank.

It is small, but sturdy and can transport quite a bit when seats are put down.
It is reliable and gets great gas mileage! I am starting to have problems with the locks and paint is chipping.

Economic, attractive comfortable ride.
Strange that the odometer being center council is odd. Wish bumper did not scratch so easily. Not crazy about the digital readings. Seats are very comfortable. For a small car lots of room inside. Pick up is good. Great gas mileage, have not have to do much maintenance at all, just the usual. For an older car it remains very stylish.

It doesn't have a lot of trunk space. It has a good turn radius though.
Like that it's small and easy to parallel park. Its nice and roomy. Needs more space in the back

My car is not the nicest looking or the newest model but it's perfect for me for now.
It's small however it gets me around perfectly fine. It is used and I have no complaints.

Amazing car for a long time, but now getting dangerous to drive.
It's been a good car in the past, but it's beginning to have issues that make it dangerous to drive. Most notably, the transmission takes a while to switch gears for the past several months. It is not uncommon to have to push the car to go up to 5-7 thousands rpm just to get up to speed enough to not get hit. It also has many electrical problems, such as some lights in the dash not working, and the motors for the windows on the left side not working. I believe this car has reached the end of its life, but I will be sad to see it go. It had great gas mileage before it's issue with the transmission, was the perfect size for city driving, was surprisingly spacious when I needed to pack it up to move, and had an amazing stereo. It's also very easy to handle and has very few blind spots. The ones it does have are very small.

Fun Economy car that is easy to drive and maintain. What doesn't it do?
My Scion has been a workhorse. I have over 200K on it and it still drives very well. Living in the south it is critical for your vehicle to have great A/C and the Scion does. Additionally, I commute over 90 miles a day to and from work and I still get over 30MPG. Best of all it's paid for and the tags and insurance is low.
