The Scion xB is an excellent vehicle. It appears to be small on the outside but it is extremely roomy inside. It is very easy to get in and out of especially with you are disabled. The seats in back fold down allowing you plenty of room to transport decent sized items. The Scion xB has a Toyota motor which is very reliable and rarely if ever has mechanical issues (Take care of it changing the oil etc and it will take care of you).
It is a reliable vehicle for your everyday transportation needs. A scion xb will get you to destinations without a single problem. The vehicle is very economic and sufficient for the modern family or the typical driver.
The car is small on the outside but it has plenty of room on the inside. The car drives really smooth. It is a good family car. It is a safe car. I get good gas mileage on it. The air vents in this car are better than most cars and you can adjust them to blow any direction.
The only cons 'maybe' would be that it gets around 24-26 mpg gas mileage. Some other cars may get a bit better than that and also it's not a luxury smooth ride. One of the things I noticed when I test drove it was how it was a bit bumpier ride than my previous vehicle which was a car. This is not really a car, the insurance companies classify it as a van. Regardless of the slightly bumpy ride you will easily fall in love with this driving it.
Their original stereo gives me some problems. There is also the constant need to make sure you have adequate oil in your vehicle, and to make sure there is the right tire pressure in your wheels. You have to consistently maintain your vehicle to ensure it does not break down.
It can be too small for big families. The trunk is not real big so grocery shopping wouldn't be ideal to store groceries in the trunk. The back seat does not have air vents so it can take a while to cool down in the summer.
The 2009 Scion xB has an average owner rating of 4.33 out of 5 which ranks it #9 of 25 other Compact SUVs.
