The cruise control has been an added plus!

2002 Subaru Forester L

I have taken my Subaru on many road trips and have never experienced a breakdown. I have over 200,000 miles on it and am in the process of doing a major tune up and expect to get at least another 100,000 miles out of my car. MPG is not as good as I would prefer but the size of the car is perfect for me! I'm short but the driver's seat moved forward still give the feel of roominess and everything is within very comfortable reach.

Excellent, safe family car!

2002 Subaru Forester L

This car is great! It handles like a much smaller car, I love the storage in the back. I live somewhere with lots of weather so the all-wheel drive is a great thing to have. Also there are a lot of places that will work on a Subaru if I do have any problems. The car seat anchors make me feel good about driving my infant daughter around. All around reliable.

Subaru Forester - reliable but lots of maintenance

2002 Subaru Forester L

It handles great in winter weather but I don't like the AWD in general, because you have to replace all 4 tires at once, which is not very affordable. Other pros are that parts are generally affordable and maintenance is easy. Cons: I have had to replace transmission and some other major parts. But in general, it has been reliable

I love the heated seats, it works really well and heats up the seats.

2002 Subaru Forester L

They only problem I had with my car was the exhaust leak. It's very reliable, it gets me around safely. I love the heated seats, so does everyone who has ridden in my car. It's very comfortable, I've had people fall asleep in it. The automatic windows are awesome and work wonderful.

Great all-purpose vehicle!

2002 Subaru Forester L

It has great visibility, it is comfortable, and not too loud. It does not shift super smooth, but it does not compromise functionality. You can fit so much in it because of the hatchback, which is probably my favorite part. It comfortably fits five people.
