It is great for a big family.
Love the reliability and how it handles. Fun to drive and great looking. Wish it had higher clearance. Tends to bottom out easily.

Subaru cars are too small for average male adults.
The cabin is too small for everyday use. We have tried to haul small items like a shelf and the opening for the back end is to small even for an average size TV nowadays. Also where the drivers or passengers sit is too small for an average adult male but for smaller individuals it is perfect.

Possibly a lemon? 2014 Subaru Impreza.
This is the nicest car I have ever owned but I started to have a lot of problems in this last year. I had to have the transmission replaced at 80k miles (luckily just within warranty) and my ac compressor went, very expensive repair. I feel that it does drive well and is comfortable. It is not extremely fancy but nice and good size. Not sure if I just have a lemon or if this is a common issue with Subaru. Would not suggest the CVT transmission.

My Subaru will be my forever car!
I absolutely love my car! The sport limited package came with a sunroof, Bluetooth, navi system, roof rack, and heated seats! It drives so smooth, and I have never had a better brake, or sound system. I have yet to test out the AWD on the snow but I am looking forward to it. This will definitely be my forever car!

Highlights of a Subaru Impreza sport.
Good for winter, all wheel drive is great for all seasons, does not require winter tires, reliable, minor quirks that are tolerable, affordable to repair, affordable to lease and / or purchase, plenty of mechanics that service this vehicle, the sport edition is peppy, the hatchback is very useful for camping and moving medium sized items.

I love the seat warmers that came with the basic package!
The subaru impreza is reliable, safe, and an awesome car. While small, it is comfortable, has a very spacious back seat and huge trunk with lots of room. I have the basic package and find that it has everything I need and more! I love recommending my car to others because I know they too will fall in love with it!

Great commuter vehicle with good all wheel drive and has mileage.
No major issues. Brakes wear out faster than I would like but not unreasonable. Good gas mileage. Surprisingly spacious for a compact car. Good daily driver for commuters in winter areas due to all wheel drive. The entertainment system is where this vehicle fails. It is unreliable when using Bluetooth and the volume fluctuates a lot even when the acceleration adjustment is turned off. It can make listening to podcasts hard.

Great car but did have a malfunctioning radio.
Overall I have enjoyed owning my car. Majority of repair work has been related to general wear and tear however last year I did experience one major issues related to the radio. Randomly I thought no sound was coming from the speakers but later found out it was the radio itself. It took over a month to diagnosis and get my car back which thankfully was covered by the warranty.

She gets me where I need to go.
My car is very reliable I have had it for less than a year and haven’t had any problems it gets me where I need to go. It is good in all of the seasons. Since it is all wheel drive it gets me everywhere in the winter even though it is so small. I love the heated seats and the big trunk.

Personal experience with my Impreza.
I love my car, I most enjoy the reliability of my Subaru--especially in terms of comfort and driving performance of the vehicles. The features are basic and rather boring. The Bluetooth works pretty well, but the connection is not always clean. The interior is ease to manage and comfortable--especially the heated seats in the winter. I also appreciate how flat the back seats fold down and the surprising amount of things I can fit into the cabin.

All wheel drive helps you feel safe while driving in the car in all weather.
I like how there is limited amount of blind spots when driving, and the AWD helps me feel safe while driving in the rain. I also enjoy having a hatchback where I can push the seats down to make room for large items if necessary. I also like the rails on the top of my car which allows me to put bikes, snowboards or a storage bin. The few issues I have are the car is a bit low and the Bluetooth/speakers never worked the greatest. I also wished the headlights were a bit brighter.

Safe and reliable family car!
I really enjoy my Subaru Impreza. It is a very reliable car. I have been driving it since 2014 and it has never broken down. The only problem that I have ever had with it is the low tire pressure light. It could have also just been my tires. I really like the Bluetooth option for music and phone calls. The car gets great gas mileage. My car is white and I like the color of it. Subaru in general is a great brand of cars and it is very reliable like I said. I currently live in Arizona but I used to live in eastern Washington where the winters get pretty bad and the car does very well in the snow and weather. It makes me feel safe while I am driving. Great control of the car. I would recommend this car to anyone looking for one! It would be a good family car since it's safe. I really like the Subaru Impreza!

A great family car; we're a dedicated Subaru family.
I absolutely love this car! The hatchback feature is very helpful and the size of the vehicle meets my family's needs. We have two young children and plenty to tote around with us. The premium has some nice features including heated seats! I would definitely buy another hatchback in the future.

It's been reliable and performs well
I use this vehicle almost every day and I have only ever had minor problems with it that can be easily fixed. I am also pretty tall and I have plenty of legroom in the driver's seat and in the passenger seat. It is very reliable, it performs well in any type of weather including rain and snow.

Reliable family car for all seasons
Reliable, comfortable, handles well in all conditions, has enough room for most errands while not being unnecessarily large for everyday use. Very few maintenance issues except regular upkeep, even at just over 100k miles. Easy to clean, great for road trips.

The four wheel drive is awesome.
I love the way it drives and I have had no problems. I love the 4 wheel drive feature and that fact that I have only had to get my wheels replaced and nothing else. I have owned the car for almost 3 years now and my only complaint is the cost of my oil change going up because of the Subaru need for synthetic oil.
accountCircle Kaitlyn W on March 23, 2021
Runs well in the snow and overall.
The vehicle itself runs well, room for improvement such as a backup camera,, the Bluetooth works fine but the Bluetooth is not ideal for to use while on the phone. The caller on the other end has a hard time hearing you. I did have to replace a valve which is common in these cars, luckily it was covered under warranty by Subaru. The timing belt is almost at the time that it needs to be replaced but other than that I have no complaints.

General review of a Subaru from a multiple owner.
The car is reliable as a Subaru. This model has better seats than prior models. Gas mileage is great and suspension is sporty and responsive. This model is bare bones and lacks many features found on other trim levels. I would definitely buy again, but would like more power.

The durability, conveniences and highly recommended because value and backed by dealership 100%
It's AWD which is necessary since i drive a long distance to work so It's reliable. The maintenance is minimal if you keep up with regular maintenance. Subaru's are considered one of the most reliable cars on the market. Also, I've owned a Subaru for over 35 years and the dealership is awesome when it comes to service and explaining what needs to be done and why but most of all they are friendly and show consideration to all their customers.

What I like about my Subaru.
Very dependable, have yet to be stranded due to any defects. Not a powerful car but stable, smooth driving. Great control in the winter but definitely recommend snow tires. Tire pressure alert comes on a bit much in the winter. Is costly to repair.

Dependable at any age for any distance.
Subaru Impreza is a dependable car for short and long distances. I have owned Subarus for twenty years and have never been left stranded, and I have driven cars that were older than ten years. To fix a Subaru can be costly, however. I do use winter tires for better traction.
accountCircle Clayton S on March 7, 2021
Small quick and efficient.
Very reliable and safe car, maintenance can be a hassle. A lot of easy at home fixes end up being bigger problems than they can seem at first. Great gas mileage. Having the manual it is an easy car to teach how to drive a stick. Lots of room when you fold down the back seats.

Almost 100k miles with no issues.
In the six years I have owned the car I have had no unscheduled issues with the car. Regular maintenance can be expensive and having to have all 4 tires match is not cheap. Would recommend the car as it is the cheapest all wheel drive car and is great value for the money.

This has to be the most reliable car!
I have had my car 5 years and have not had one major job to fix annually. Besides brakes, tires and axle, the car has been reliable. Lastly, it is an all wheel drive sedan, which means I have had zero issues in the snowy season. The car is practical but has granted me reliability for all these years. It has a strong engine and it is gas efficient.

I like the all wheel drive on the car, it is great living in New England I do not feel like I will get stuck. Comfortable and spacious interior.
This car is extremely comfortable. The inside is deceptively spacious and there is a ton of trunk room. The acceleration takes a bit of getting used to, sometimes I have to take my foot off the gas to get the gears to shift. I have had this car for six years and no major problems.

Great car in winter climate.
Comfortable seats. Rides smooth. Have had no major maintenance needs. The all wheel drive is great in the winter time in a cold climate. Cuts through plowable snow like a hot knife through butter. I have had no complaints other than it does burn though headlight bulbs rather quickly.

I have a Subaru Impreza hatchback. The car has a ton of room.
I love Subaru. The car has lots of space, is all wheel drive, and runs great. My only complaint is the battery. I have a factory battery and if I leave my lights on for a short time the car will need a jump. Also, sometimes my car sounds like it struggles to switch gear or gets stuck. I just took my car into Subaru and they could not find anything wrong. Other than that I am a big fan of Subaru.

It is incredibly reliable. I've grown up with Subarus so I knew it would be a good choice to get one for myself.
I bought my car used and I love the car. It has leather interior, a spacious trunk, and very decent gas mileage. I was very hesitant to get a car at first since it was my first car and it is such a huge investment but now I couldn't be happier with it. I hope to have it for many years to come.

Clearance in Subaru Impreza.
I love my car, it is reliable and gets me where I need to go but I live in a mountain town. Although it is and, the clearance is poor. So I have gotten stuck in the snow a handful of times. So I am considering buying a different car with better clearance. The gas mileage is great though.

Reliability
I’ve owned my car for 5 years and only had to have general maintenance performed on it. My biggest gripe is it’s very low. I’m 6.2 so not very practical. Performance is a little sluggish but performs well in the snow. Cabin noise is loud as this year and model didn’t have much sound dampening material. The 2015 added more. Great sound system and heated seats. More horsepower would be great but overall great car!

The most important thing for me is the 4-wheel drive, which makes it a good winter car and also good for rough roads when traveling.
My favorite part about my Subaru is the 4-wheel drive, which is nice to have in the winter. I also like the style, a hatchback - it can fit a lot of stuff in it, but is not too big. So far it has been a very reliable vehicle.

I have only had a couple of issues with this car. One being the tire pressure staying consistent. I have had to get air out in the same tire at least 3 times in just having the car since January. It is also just blown around easily on the highway. Other than that, I love it!

The Subaru Impreza is the perfect starter car for someone just starting out.
Overall, I love my car. It is just the right size for my needs. It has tinted windows which make it sometimes hard to see out of. I also have heated seats with different levels which is really nice in the colder months. I love that my phone can connect with Bluetooth because it makes listening to music and talking easier with hands-free. The gas on the car is not too bad either. I do not find myself filling up that often.

Subaru Impreza was a great first car purchase!
I love my Subaru. It is reliable, comfortable, and I love the small size wagon. The Bluetooth phone connection is great and the adjustments in lighting between night and day (white during the day, red at night) help me to see better. The biggest things I do not love are the lack of a/c openings in the backseat of the car, and occasionally the continuously variable transmission can be a little jerky. I have also had some trouble with my fog light covers (I do not have the lights, just the plastic pieces that go over them) popping out, but they were a fairly cheap replacement.

The 2014 Subaru Impreza is a great, dependable car brand.
First the good things about my car are: All wheel drive. Great in the snow. Heated seats. Back window windshield wiper. Aux cord input. Bluetooth. Heads free phone call and answering in the steering wheel. Very easy to keep maintenance on. Great gas mileage. Problems: Tire sensors are too sensitive, especially in the dead of cold weather below zero. The beeping for the lights are still on could be louder as well. Performance: Great in snow. Smooth gear shift. Reliability. Very, it is always started. Comfort:. The back window could be bigger. More cup holders in the car.

Spacious, but didn’t meet expectations.
This model has no cruise control and you cannot add it after market, it blows my mind that Subaru even offers vehicles without cruise at this point. There are problems with the passenger air bag sensors being deactivated by cell phones that Subaru is not doing anything about which also feels crazy since their whole schtick is being super safe. It is kind of a pain to connect Bluetooth.

The Impreza is perfect for quickly changing weather. Only drawback; pricey tires.
We love our Impreza wagon. It is AWD system makes it an ideal car for living in Colorado where weather can be sunny and summery one day and snowy and icy the next. The biggest issue we've had is that we chose the sport edition with the larger wheels (and therefore thinner tires). We live near the center of a city with quite a bit of construction and have had to replace a few tires. Unfortunately with AWD systems, the tires have to had the same wear on them or it can seriously harm the system so we have had to buy 2 complete sets of tires in only 4 years owning the car. Seat warmers are amazing as we head into the colder months. The Bluetooth does seem to have a hard time switching between connecting to my phone and my wife's phone, but generally works quite well. Overall it is a wonderful car for us!

Very useful car in Colorado. Need all wheel drive for a reasonable price. It is very basic interior, but that is not what I bought it for. It goes no matter what the weather in Colorado is. A bigger issue is the fact that the Bluetooth cuts out often, which forces me to reset the connection on my phone, which is dangerous when I'm driving. Sometimes in the winter, there is a light smell of gas when the lines contract because of the cold. However, for living in snow country, it really pays to have the four wheel drive (it literally saved my life).

The grand amazing Subaru car.
I like the air reconditioning it keeps me cool on my commute to work or when I go see my friends after a long day at work. I like the heat because it keeps me warm on my commute to work or when I go see my friends after a long day at work. I like the feel of the interior design and the comfort of the seats.

Subaru are reliable and last a long time. The car will last.
My caris small and easy to drive. It gets good gas mileage, is reliable and I really like the color.

It's a good size for a small family of three and all activities.
The body panels are kinda flimsy. The acceleration is good. The size is good.

Fun to drive reliable car you will not regret buying.
The Impreza is a very reliable car, it has had no maintenance or performance issues of any kind, it gets great gas mileage, it is very comfortable both to drive and for passengers, I have had no issues with it at all. I love everything about it and would buy it again.

Subaru 2014 Impreza- a drive worth taking.
It is an older model and lacks the technology most modern cars have. It performs as expected from a Subaru never worry about the weather and if I'll get stuck. It is a smooth ride and no major troubles since owning it. The ride no matter the terrain has been comfortable and enjoyable. I highly suggest this car to anyone.

Best vehicle ever! Base model but versatile!
I have had no problems out of this vehicle. I have owned it for 3 years now and all functions have performed wonderfully. The error lights only come on when necessary and the Bluetooth functionality works great with my Samsung phone. There is also aux capability too.

Safety and reliability is phenomenal!
Reliability of this Subaru is exceptional. I rarely have any difficulties with it. Even when I have regular maintenance upgrades, parts for this vehicle are not that expensive and are affordable to purchase. Comfort to sit in and gets great gas mileage.

All the bright blue Subaru.
My Subaru is absolutely iconic it is bright blue and it drives very well. Her name is Al, Short for althea and the only issue I have ever had with her is that the brakes used to make a crunching sound but that has since been fixed. It is good in the snow and has a good sound system so if I turn the music up enough you can feel it in the doors of the car.

Lumbar support is awful; safety standards are great!
Lumbar support is awful, also I will never buy 4 wheel drive again- every time one tire goes bad, all four need to be replaced. The gas mileage is great, and I love the space of the back. I love the safety and feel comfortable for you or driving my little kids around.

Compact but not small. Love that it is all wheel drive and is great on gas.
My Subaru Impreza is awesome. Definitely gas efficient and comfortable. Fun to drive. Easy maintenance. Some features that I personally wish it had was apple carplay. The model and year I currently have did not offer that option. I also wish the entertainment system was touch screen.

Very reliable, great power, and looks nice!
It has a lot of power and is very reliable. The 4 wheel drive is awesome in the snow. It does have a lot of road noise but that does not really bother me! It holds everything I need it to hold because of the hatchback. Oh, and the sound system is great.

Queen of the Road: Subaru Impreza
My vehicle has great gas mileage and hugs the road better than anything I have driven in the past. I am extremely confident in my cars ability to handle bad weather, including rain. In the beginning, I had to get used to the CVT transmission as it shifts differently than a regular transmission, but it is much smoother to drive this way. I have not taken any trips longer than 4 hours yet, but those 4 hours were a dream and I barely got sore. The only thing that is mildly uncomfortable after a while is that my particular model does not have cruise control and I have to keep my foot on the pedal for the entire trip.

Reliability and safety and cost.
Some issues with the car, but I love it. I like the mileage, reliability, size. I don't have any dislikes or complaints with the car.

Great performance and very roomy.
My 2014 Subaru Impreza is large and roomy with seating for up to six passengers. It performs very well, especially in bad weather. I have been highly satisfied with it over the past four years. I originally leased the car and then bought it when the lease was finished.

Subaru Impreza is a useful and reliable vehicle.
My car is very reliable. The all wheel drive is useful in the winter weather conditions. Never had any major problems with it besides a few company recalls and a rusting out of the hood release cable. Bluetooth ability lets you pair your phone to the car so you can have hands free calling and play music via the phone. Gas mileage is good usually around 25-30. Heated seats in the front. Overall performance has been great for the five years that I have had it so far.

The wheels and the way it can keep itself on the road when it is bad weather.
To be completely honest the problem with my car is the transmission and it is been slowly going out of it for awhile. As well as the part cost more and are harder to find, all around though I personally like my car and I am blessed to call it mine. It is wonderful in the winter conditions considering it is an all wheel drive. I wouldn't want to trade this car in for anything.

An underwhelming, yet overachieving AWD sedan.
The front seats are uncomfortable for long distances, the inside is loud while driving on the highway, there is a lack of acceleration, the car package has an average entertainment package. The car has great handling, it drives great in snow, there is an extremely low maintenance cost, the AWD is the best feature of the car, and high resale value.
accountCircle Victor T on July 21, 2020
It runs well and it'll get you from point A to point B.
It's very reliable. However, the car is very basic and can feel very plastic.
accountCircle George Duricic on July 18, 2020
Reliability
Purchased the car with 60,114 miles on it. Within 250 miles had ac compressor and condenser replaced and now the airbag for the passenger side failed. At this rate the car will not make 100k and I have never had a car that had this much happen in such a short time.

It rides very smooth, has good gas mileage and is cheap to fill.
Vehicle is comfortable, has good gas mileage and is inexpensive to fill, and is a very smooth ride.My only complaint is that you can hear outside noise very easily ex: if a pebble hits your car it is very loud and concerning; sounds worse than it is and there’s no damage.
accountCircle Rachel A on July 15, 2020
It is a very reliable vehicle.
I like the all wheel drive. I wish that there was more clearance (higher) from the road, especially when it snows.

Perfect for a college kid!
I love how the car handles, it is small but it still gets you where you need to go in snow and rain. It gets great gas mileage, I haven't had any issues with it besides occasionally my key will get stuck in the ignition. Besides that, love the car! Definitely buying another Subaru!
