Subaru legacy: a great car!
Really comfortable, very few performance issues and little need to repair or maintenance the vehicle. The features are pretty standard, but help with the overall comfort of the car. It is incredible reliable and effective in all weathers. However, can occasionally struggle in high snowy areas.

Lifelong Subaru owner passes on the legacy to kids
The Legacy is the 4th Subaru that I've owned. I have come to expect the cars to be dependable, efficiently designed and safe. When it came time to buy cars for my kids, I bought them Subarus for those same reasons.

Handles great in snow rain or mud.
Drives good in any weather. Comfortable to drive all day long. Repairs are reasonable. Good visibility. Easy to drive.

Great car for rough winters.
I really enjoy my legacy. I live in an area that gets a lot of snow and have not had any problems with it getting around. I have not had any problems other than normal wear and tear. The only ‘complaint’ is my tall spouse finds it hard to get in and out of, but has plenty of legroom.

The Legacy is one of the most reliable cars you could own.
In my opinion, there are very few cars that are more reliable than a Subaru. I can drive my car in extreme weather situations, and not have a single problem. The legacy is a comfortable, easily maintainable, no-nonsense car that is suitable for any driver.

It feels much bigger than it looks from the outside.
A 4 door sedan that is extremely comfortable and large enough to fit two car seats in the back seat. It's amazing in all types of weather, including snow since it's all wheel drive.

The safety features are the absolute best thing ever
Love the safety features it has. Been told they last forever. I've only owned for a short time but so far I would not purchase anything else

Trash at just 148000 miles
At 140000 miles and 7 years it fell apart. The first repairs were normal like exhaust and front discs. Then the rear and front wheel bearings went bad which is something I've never had to replace. Then it was the driver's side CV joint. Finally, the CVT started grinding at slow speeds and since it is sealed they wouldn't rebuild it. Even if they could, it wouldn't have been worth it. This is the second worst car I've ever owned right behind my first which was an 87 Lebaron hatchback.

Yeah so my Subaru is not the best.
My car burns oil. The gas mileage is bad; less than 25 when it's advertised for 30 or more. The headlights burn out all the time. When I have my phone charger plugged in, the radio is static and does not play music. The exterior seems very cheaply made, when I shut the door, it sounds like a tin can hitting the floor.

Great handling of the four wheel drive.
Quality of build is not good. Material used not good quality getting destroyed by normal wear and tear.

Subaru legacy 2013 certified pre-owned does not run so gray.
The vehicle had 4 wheel drive, had a good reputation through coworkers, vehicle was very reasonably priced, and it was certified pre-owned, complete with warranty, and passed inspection through Subaru legacy.. It was also low in miles, which meant it was nearly as if getting a new vehicle.

2013 Subaru legacy 2.5 premium.
No issues thus far. Car is 2013 with 96k. We bought the car in 2014 from Shelor motor mile and is had roughly 10k on it. Car gets good gas mileage and love the fact that it is AWD. However. The car does not do that well is super deep snow. We had it stuck one time in our driveway.

Safety is a priority with family.
Issues with the muffler and exhaust system. Recently I have noticed my car has been burning oil rather quickly. Overall the vehicle is a decent choice, it has many safety features which is an important factor having a family. The gas mileage is great.

My 2013 legacy is not as amazing as it could be.
It doesn't handle as well in the snow as the older model Subarus. The blue is darker than I wanted and it shows the dirt. There has been a rattle in the passenger side sun visor that was never repaired despite several trips to the dealership for repair.

It's an AWD drive which is awesome for the price
The seat is way down low. I have back problems, so it feels like I am sitting in a bucket. I only started noticing it when older folks got into my car. It's very cheap, it has an AWD which is huge in winter. In summer the AC does not cool enough fast.

Bought this car a month ago .am very happy with it.am surprised How good it is on gas. The interior is very roomy & comfortable. The only thing I can complain about is the headlights, is kind of hard to see at night.

Great reliable car over the past 98,000 miles.
This car is reliable and I have had few problems over the past 98,000 miles. I did experience some issues, such as a problem with the part that holds my tire in place, but I got that fixed without a huge fuss. The USB port that is supposed to connect my phone to the car, unfortunately, only worked consistently for a short period, but the Bluetooth connection is a great substitute.

Pros from Owners

likeFilled Andrew W.

Fuel efficient, AWD, heated seats, heated mirror. The car has a consistent amount of horsepower. It performs well on wintery terrain. The vehicle has great performance and a good amount of trunk space.

likeFilled Lily S.

Love the standard, it is nice and bigger than you think, lots of legroom. Has had some transmission issues and eats a lot of oil. Big gas tank but the miles per gallon is great! But overall really reliable.

Cons from Owners

dislikeFilled Andrew W.

The vehicle is great. However, the heating system is not the smoothest. It would be nice to have dual climate control and Better directional control of the blowers. It would also be nice to have remote start for those cold winter days.

dislikeFilled Lily S.

It uses up a lot of oil. Because it is standard it is hard to find other to drive it, but that is not the cars fault. It had some transmission issues but it was in an accident prior to purchasing it and it was cheaper than retail.

I bought mine two years old at seventeen thousand dollars. It had thirty thousand miles on it so I'd say yes.
