Subaru's WRX is a pretty safe and reliable sports car with great performance. Vehicle is used as a everyday driver (daily driver); used for work commutes and weekend road trips. Opted for leather seats, sunroof, and short-shifter for the manual transmission; all of which make driving comfortable and fun. Handles in snowy weather is great (with the right tires). Great rear-view camera, big help with tight parking. Infotainment pretty good, although sound system could be better. Mpg averaged about 28-29 miles to gallon on latest road trip.

WRX is a decent and fun car.
Subaru WRX is reliable sports car, which has pretty good performance and is comfortable to drive especially with leather seats. Handling in snow is good, although improved greatly with the right set of tires. Shift is a little notchy, which a characteristic of the vehicle. Got decent mileage during my last long road trip for being a performance sports car, about 28-30 mpg.

The Subaru sti: a better daily driver, if you are a gearhead like me.
The cars performance is to die for. I have had 2 Subarus before. One being a 2006 WRX and my now current 2017 sti. Loved both cars. Both of them never left me stranded no matter what mother nature threw at it. These cars are tanks in the snow especially with a dedicated set of winter tires. My WRX was more comfortable than my sti but the sti is a more driver oriented car compared to the WRX. All about the power and driving feel. The WRX is a better daily driver unless your a major gearhead like me that does not mind stiffer suspension. It is a sports car after all.

Window motors do not always work but they're fast and dependable!
One of the main things about Subarus that I don't necessarily like is the fact that most have problems with the motor for their windows. They either get stuck all the way down or will not roll down at all. But one upside is they're an all wheel drive vehicle while also being sporty for those of us who enjoy going fast (specifically WRX, sti, or brz models). They're also reliable and can pay a good amount of years!

Amazing turbo noises and great Subaru quality.
I have owned my 2017 WRX for a few months now. The overall quality of the vehicle is great and it shows in how well it drives and handles. My WRX gets between 30 to 35 mpg if I can stay off it and if I want to have some fun the AWD and turbo do a great deal to help make it a blast. I have had no issues with reliability but as a mechanic I do recommend being gentle on the transmission because it is the weakest point in the drive train.

Over all the WRX is a good daily driver it has comfort great gas mileage.
The features I love about my WRX is the advance safety features for instance on cruise control it has a setting that lets you maintain a certain amount of car lengths away from the car in front of you also has the lane assist so if you get out of the lane it brings you back to the middle. The power is great barely tap the pedal and it is moving the center of gravity on the car is very low so when you take those sharp turns the body roll is very minimal.

Super fun, fast, reliable ride!
I love my car it is a fast, fun, reliable car. It goes great in the snow and couldn't ask for anything better, with just some few bolt on mods you can have an easy 300 horsepower ride. I highly recommend getting one if you are into a sporty yet reliable ride. I have own a Subaru my whole life and will never down one. They are by far one of my favorite personal choices for a car.

Maximum performance and a drive like no other by the WRX.
The vwrx is a dream to drive. My vehicle has manual transmission which allows me not only to feel control but also feel a sense of enjoyment when shifting gears. I have the model equipped with turbo which adds to the overall driving experience. The only inconvenience I have encountered was having the battery die after only one year of use, however, subaru replaced it at no charge. . The suspension on the wrx is tight and this may not be particularly enjoyable to some drivers, but for me, its an added bonus. The vehicle is comfortable and allows for great visibility out all the windows. The only drawback in the wrx model I drive is the fact that when the trunk unlocks, it doesn't pop open all the way. This would definitely be something I would change.

Fun car worth the price and an iconic model.
Fun car for spirited driving. Reliable and great in the snow. Maintenance is average on the car. Gas mileage is sacrificed for performance. It's my fifth Subaru and have had zero issues with any of the vehicles. Safety is top notch for the vehicle. A set of winter tires is important if you live where it snows.

Amazing fun ride. Needs better in car technology.
I love this car. Good gas mileage considering the turbo. The one thing I really didn't like about this car was the technology. The radio was very limited, the speakers weren't too good. Have had it for over three years and I haven't had any problems. I upgraded the stereo and speakers and I love it even more.

Fun sports car that everybody can afford!
This is a great car that is a ton of fun to drive. It has great pick up and go but also feels safe. If you get street tires for the summer, get winter tires for the winter because street tires are unsafe for the winter. Handling does not decrease if you get winter tires.

I absolutely love my subi because of the way it handles & the power it has.
We should have went with a standard instead of a CVT because there is only so much you can do with the CVT. Where as a standard you can modify it a lot more & not have to worry about it being too much for the car to handle. Other than that it handles excellent.

Great car, if you live in a place where it snows it is all you can ask for.
The car is AWD and handles really well in snow, which a reason I made this purchase. It drives very easy and I would give it a 7/10 when it comes to overall comfort. My only problem with the car is shifting from first to second gear, there is a quite a bit of rev-hang. It is a little annoying to deal with at first but you get used to it.

My first Subaru experience.
So far the only downfall that I have noticed is the transmission likes to pop out of 1st gear when you are going slow and hit a bump or decelerate. The power can be a bit surprising sometimes but it makes it really fun to drive. Over all I am pretty impressed with the quality and ride.

2017 Subaru WRX - fun, speed, and good handling for a fraction of the cost.
No problems so far. Really fun driving and taking in corners. Acceleration is awesome for this entry level sports vehicle. Can easily get by slower drivers! Mpg is very good I was able to hit 33 mpg on a road trip I took with the kids. The only downside I think is the suspension. You really do bounce on every bump.

Amazing performance all around.

The 2017 Subaru WRX drives extremely smoothly. It is 6 speed manual transmission with turbo boost provides the perfect amount of speed and torque. Every drive is fun and energetic! This car does require premium unleaded gasoline and it only gets an average of 24 mpg; however, that can vary depending on the driver and conditions of the driving.

17 WRX limited, fun to drive, and reliable as well.
I have had no problems with my car. I love it. It's been nothing but reliable and fun to drive. I learned to drive stick with it and has made it to the west coast and back and the gulf coast and back as well with no problems. It's easy to work on yourself if your a mechanic like I am and has a lot of versatility to it. The seats are comfortable and the mileage is great. I myself drive it a little harder as I see it for the performance vehicle it is but I average 27 miles a gallon.

The car that can do almost anything.
I love my WRX. It has a nice interior and a back up camera. It is manual and has a decent stock turbo in it. It is a 4 door with a good size trunk. It is AWD so it has great traction and is reliable is harsh weather conditions. It can act as a daily driver for groceries, commuting, and everyday things, as well as a “family car”. However, you can still own a fast sports car that has a turbo at the same time. For people who like to modify vehicles, it has many options and a good block to start with.

Fast car that isn't worth the speed.
The vehicle only has 18000 miles and the battery had to be replaced. I don't have much trust in the vehicle I feel like it's going to leave me stranded somewhere. As far as performance it's a fast car. If you're looking for something fast this is the car for you. Wouldn't recommend it to someone with a family. I have two kids and its tight.

I love driving my car, it is so much fun! It is smooth and comfortable. The one thing that I hated about my car is the stereo system, it sound horrible. I have head better sound systems in older cars so I expected more from Subaru. Other than that, I love my car! It is stick shift so it is really fun to drive.

The Subaru WRX is a awesome car to have, it is very fast and has great handling. Awesome in the snow, since it is all wheel drive. But I do not recommend it for a daily driver, I made that mistake. The car payments are not friendly, insurance is not to pricey.

WRX is AWD fun at an affordable price.
The vehicle performs very well, it's a bit expensive on maintenance. The transmission might start grinding after a while. Change oil on time and it will last. Get your filters changed whenever needed. It drives and handles extremely well. Also it's pretty fast stock.

My favorite car I've owned.
The Subaru WRX is an amazing car. I enjoy driving it every day. Sometimes I even drive it just to drive it. The car feels great on the road. You really feel connected. I enjoy the acceleration. One of my favorite things about the car is its visibility. I've driven many other cars and I have to say Subaru does a great job making sure you can see 360 degrees around you. Safety is clearly another mistake for Subaru. Between the door anchors and rigid frame I feel safe no matter what.

The all wheel drive system featured in the WRX, like all subarus, handles exceptionally but does require that all 4 tires be replaced at the same time.

My vehicle is a fun daily driver with lots of power for your money.
0 problems with the car. I have performed all maintenance by myself and is very easy to do so. I have also taken multiple road trips in it with no problems. I find myself getting 20 plus mpg on average. This vehicle does particularly well in the Colorado winters due to its great AWD system.

Fun to drive, no problems so far, bucket seats, butt warmers. Accelerates quick smooth ride to wherever you want to go. Doesn't take much in gas. Faintly big gas tank lasts about two weeks to deplete depending on how you drive and how far. Pretty reliable car so far have no complaints

Sweet fast ride that is great in snow
I love this car. It is zippy and fast. A comfortable ride. Cabin is a bit noisy. Stereo is decent but not great. I love the turbo. Gas mileage is just okay. It drives well in the snow due to AWD. One downside is that the car comes with summer tires so I had to replace with all season tires.

Love my car but it takes a commitment in gas and oil.
The drive is great, but with a turbo you have to take extra care of the car. The car handles great and the car has little to no issues. After 4 years of owning the car I have just now had to replace my bulbs. Overall the car is great but be ready for the commitment of on time oil changes and premium gas.

The cruise control is the best feature of this vehicle.
I love this car! However even though I have the highest trim package, the speakers just do not perform well. The road noise is also very loud in the cab. It is not well insulated and the a/c comes on randomly when the button has not been pushed. My favorite feature is the eyesight cruise control.

Feels like a sports car!!
Overall fun car. The power is great at mid to high rpms. Shifting feels precise. Clutch pedal is smooth. Sounds amazing stock. The only issue I have is the subpar interior which makes for an uncomfortable ride as the seat are uncomfortable compared to its rivals and the sound deadening is weak.

Beautiful vehicle, lots of pick-up. My only complaint is the shield that protects the clutch when engaged stopped working. It was getting overheated. This is a common complaint when the vehicle is new. Subaru replaced it, but only after the argument that it was not due to driver error. Otherwise,it's been a great vehicle. It's ok on gas mileage.

I love this car! Like anything out there, it has its ups and downs. Let's begin with a positive note. It is an extremely fun car to drive and carve payment with. It is very mod friendly with many options and vendors out, with new things still coming out. It is very reliable, I have been driving it for about 4 years now and have never had any issues. Just make sure to keep up with the maintenance! The performance is about moderate compared to other options out in that price range, but still fun. Now let's continue with the negatives. If you are planning on road tripping this car, it is not going to be comfortable. Short drives are ok.

Stock tune is very poor, acceleration on the stock tune is very poor. The handling on this car is very good. Turns are good. Weak transmission in this car. Transmission blew up 15 thousand miles in. The interior of the base model is very nice, the fabric seats are comfortable.

RALLY CHAMP MEETS DAILY DRIVER
My throw out bearing started chirping at around 30k miles. Doesn't seem to affect performance however. Very fun car. Great handling. Gorgeous looking. Great balance between daily driver and fast sports car. The infotainment system is lacking considering the price of the car. Bluetooth has issues pairing, non intuitive design as well. Has some useless in-system apps like 'star link' whatever that means.

The WRX has been reliable for me so far. It does have a few squeaks and rattles, so it is not a. Quiet or luxury vehicle. However, I bought it because I enjoy driving, and it absolutely delivers on that front, with all wheel drive and a peppy turbo engine.

Very quick, great suspension and handling, amazingly fast and very aerodynamic.
No real issues with the car yet, clutch is starting to get worn in due to mileage at almost 60,000 k. Bought car in November of 2016 and it's been the best and most reliable car I've ever owned. Great acceleration in 3rd gear and handles like a dream. Very easily modifiable as well. Would recommend to anyone who likes Porsche.

Master hills with the 2017 Subaru WRX.
The car handles very well. It is a manual and going into first gear is really easy in comparison to other cars I have used. This year also has a back cam that is helpful for street parking. There's a hill assist as well that is very useful for the large hills we have here in Seattle. The interior is not fancy - no leather, but I actually prefer this since it does not get too hot and remains comfortable. The turbo typically kicks in if you are on the highway going 50+ mph and you can really feel its power.

The Subaru blue is a very distinguished color. It is recognized by other drivers immediately! The WRX is a great buy.
The performance of the vehicle is amazing. Gas consumption is more than fair and can fit almost any budget. The car has not had any mechanical issues to date. The car is comfortable in the front and back on short trips. Some of my passengers have complained about the room in the back after 3 hours of driving. The air conditioning could use more ventilation towards that back. The sound system could have had more work put into it considering the price of the car. However, the WRX is all about engine performance and you are getting every penny's worth.

Everything you need - but not everything you want.
It is very low to the ground and can often scrape when driving up or down a parking garage. It is also incredibly lightweight and does slides a good amount in the slow. The sound system also lags so when music starts playing after you turn on the car, it takes a good 5 or 6 seconds after you start turning it down for anything to happen. My last complaint would be that the acceleration is slow and does not have a lot of power behind it. Overall I am pleased with the comfort and reliability of the vehicle. I camp and hike frequently in the mountains and the AWD does the trick. Gas mileage is also a big plus!

I have a 2017 Limited manual transmission with 25k miles. Brought it in and they changed the transmission by replacing every part included in the clutch kit plus fork all OEM. Picked up the car yesterday and today it popped and is back in the shop

The interior of this car is great.
I really like this vehicle. It was the first car I owned. I haven't had any problems with and have been extremely satisfied. I especially like the wings on the back and the color. It's all every sleek and sports car esque. It has a great speed range and the brakes and fast reacting and work wonderfully. The inside feels very luxurious with the red accented thread. I love the steering wheel. The bottom is flat and feels very unique and has a great feel. The rear camera is also big safety bonus. It also has a LCD screen with siri, Pandora, iTunes, Bluetooth and many media options. Which I love because I am a avid music fan and there's an aux plug as well. It has star-link too and added safety and emergency features. It also has a stick which is so much more fun to drive. This Subaru has also won multiple safety awards as well.

WRX is a great car all around.
Very comfortable and hugs the road when I am driving. It is great in the winter time and it does not have any major mechanical problems that I am aware of. I take my car up to the mountains a couple of times a month, no issues driving at higher altitudes.

I love 2017 my Subaru WRX.
Subaru WRX is amazing fun to drive. No significant issues with it in the 3 years I have had it. It is reliable, especially with all wheel drive. It is sporty and big enough to put a car seat in the back seat. It is performs well in all weather, and does surprisingly well in the snow (I have been in a few blizzards).

I love driving fast. I like that you don't have to fight for a manual transmission, instead they are standard. I love the all wheel drive! I can't think of any dislikes. This is my dream car.
