Comfortable for the long haul.

2003 Toyota 4Runner SR5

The Toyota 4runner has the reliability that you would expect from Toyota. It can take me anywhere with the room and power my family needs. From groceries to yard sales to camping, I can find a way to haul what I need and some of what I don't. That being said, it will cost me; as it has a big gas tank and power, all wheel drive, all the time. The better option is the newer models that give you the ability to switch between drives, so it is there for you if you need it. Overall, I haven't found a more comfortable ride for the long haul.

Reliable and tons of interior space.

2003 Toyota 4Runner SR5

I've owned my 2003 Toyota 4Runner SR5 for about three years. I had no non-wear/age related major issues with the vehicle. It has plenty of interior space including a large trunk space. The back seats all fold down flat to provide even more space in the back for hauling large items. The car handles great. The fuel efficiency isn't great (about 20 mpg) but there is a large gas tank so the tank range is about 350 miles.

The 2003 Toyota 4runner. Best SUV that is ever been made.

2003 Toyota 4Runner SR5

My Toyota 4runner is a smooth ride. It has 4 wheel drive and cruise control. I am able to play cassettes and CDs. Nice speakers. It is very easy to maintain and has been very reliable. It seats 5 people comfortably, with room in the back for grocery & luggage. The back seats can be moved into a flat position. I have transported two mattresses, a sofa, a piano, a tree, a bookcase and a dresser on different occasions.

Never think twice to get a Toyota!

2003 Toyota 4Runner SR5

I love my Toyota because it's really reliable, secure, economic and above all, gives me no problems at all. Air conditioner never been touched but working like new, put a lot of miles every year and still going for many more years. Worth having it! Why? Because it doesn't matter how far you drive, how fast you move or even how many times you stop, it will never get hot.

Great vehicle, but some mildly annoying aspects

2003 Toyota 4Runner SR5

Overall really great vehicle. There have been no major problems, but the transfer case is leaking and will need to be repaired. It is comfortable to drive and accelerates nicely. One pet peeve with this vehicle is that when braking going down hills there is a feature that engages that holds the engine back and it only comes off once you accelerate a certain amount.

4 runners 4 life. Great car.

2003 Toyota 4Runner SR5

Definitely one of the most reliable SUVs I have ever owned. All around vehicle, great for families, outdoors, traveling, etc. Leather seats make it easy for cleaning but requires more maintenance to stay in good condition. No back up camera but there are 2 small mirrors in the back of the hatchback that make backing up extremely easy.

Toyota 4runner always ready to go

2003 Toyota 4Runner SR5

I really love my 4runner. Very reliable, comfortable and low maintenance. We have had 3 years with our car and we have only had 1 minor issue with the AC and it was an easy fix. The interior has upheld 4 kids and camping. Perfect family car. I highly recommend to anyone wanting a long lasting car

It has great room in the cargo hold

2003 Toyota 4Runner SR5

The car is sturdy and a workhorse. However a few technical problems have arisen; The trunk won't open, neither will the sunroof or drivers side window. It drives well but in later years the brakes have a tendency to wear out quickly. The room is great, but traction in hazardous conditions poor
