2004 4Runner still running great!

I love my 2004 4Runner. It looks great on the outside and the inside. It drives very nice and smooth. However, I did notice a couple of issues in the year I have owned it. The dashboard is cracking because of heat/sun damage. I have noticed this not only on my 4Runner, but on other 2004 4Runners as well. The gas mileage is not great. It's a bit of a gas guzzler and I am refueling a lot more than I would like to. But other than those things, it's a great car. I am going to keep it until it dies because I love it and it looks super cool.

I have a Toyota 4runner. It's the best vehicle I've owned. I have had it for 15 years and the only maintenance I've ever done is the basic. Such as oil changes, new tires and belts and things you are suggested to do. I love the fact I have enough room for my son & his friends, as well as all their sports equipment I have to haul around. I'm very comfortable driving my Toyota. It performs very well. We use this car for traveling most places. I feel safe in my car and that is a priority when having passengers.

This car was a gift and it got my husband through college, our marriage and the birth of our son. It is so old but still so very sturdy. It is made so well. There have only been minor things that needed fixing over the years of wear and tear but it was always user error, not ever the fault of the make. It's roomy, cozy, and rides well. The air conditioner is finally needing to be replaced but we live in Texas, it happens.

My 4runner has been the best vehicle I have ever owned... It goes great in the snow.. And it has not caused our family any problems.. We will always own a Toyota they keep their value.. I love the fact that it has a v8. I would like to see Toyota make the new ones with a v8 in them.. But now they come only with a v6. The 4 runner also has enough room for our family overall it is just a great SUV.

This is, by far, the most reliable car I have owned. I have had no major problems with this vehicle, just maintenance type issues (battery, tires, etc.). It rides well and has little road noise. The only issue I can think of would be with the paint on the front and rear bumper. The paint has chipped over time. I am very fond of the fact that the rear window can be let down.

My vehicle a 2004 Toyota 4Runner is a wonderful vehicle and is very dependable. My vehicle performs absolutely wonderful. I have not had any problems with my car besides getting my tires changed and replacing the battery a few years ago. My vehicle is quite reliable and I hope to have it for many years to come.

My vehicle is awesome! It is very dependable especially on its age. She takes me all over the state of Texas and has no issues. I will never get rid of my car and will always own a Toyota! The car is fantastic and runs like she is brand new so smooth on the freeway! Never overheats great car!

It has been a great car. It is had routine maintenance but no other expensive problems. The back seat leg room is a little cramped. Wish there was a little more cargo space in the back. Acceleration is good. Can be a bit sluggish going uphill. Ride is still pretty smooth.

Sturdy car, but some odd quirks.

Smooth drive. Lots of cosmetic problems - like squeaky brakes and odd creaking that don't affect the actual drive but just add some character. I love the size and feel of driving it, but it has not aged very well. I have never had any major problems with it though.

Nice car, headlights seem to burn out faster on this car than any other car I've owned. Gas mileage averages out at about 18 miles per gallon. I drive a minimum of 65 miles a day mostly highway driving. Tons of legroom all over the vehicle. Great vehicle overall.

My 4Runner has been a very durable and reliable vehicle. My 2004 has 200 thousand miles and still going with no issues. I have the V8 and it gets decent gas mileage for a SUV. 17 mpg in the city and 20 mpg on the highway. It has plenty of cargo room for traveling

This is the best vehicle that I have personally driven, it is good on gas, drives well in snow and ice. Easy maintenance costs, handles well in traffic. It is reliable and I trust my dealership when I do need maintenance. Roomy and comfortable to drive.
