Toyota 4runner srs is a superb vehicle.
There have been and there are no vehicle problems. Large and comfortable vehicle rides smooth and quiet. Use frequently extra premium fuel to keep engine clean and runs with extra power. Use upgraded parts when changing. Comfortable cabin features and fully loaded with surround sound stereo; extra nice cloth seating with padded doors; large cargo bay area in the rear. Red lights in the dashboard at night which makes for a nice view of instruments.

I drive a 2011 Toyota 4Runner. The durability is well worth the money.
I absolutely love my Toyota 4Runner! We've had Toyota's last us longer than they should be running. When you are driving the ride is so smooth. However, the quality of the leather and seats could use some updating. We have a sequoia, the leather and seats are absolutely amazing.
accountCircle mike c
It is very reliable and only needs standard routine work like oil and filter changes.
The 4runner is very reliable. It has only been in the shop for routine maintenance. I like the styling and the room that it has.

It is worth the “Toyota tax”.
Capable, comfortable, and reliable. That is what you get with the 4runner. Plenty of room for all passengers, even the 3rd row (if equipped). While the platform is a bit dated, even the latest gens, what you do get is reliability (because nothing’s changed lol).

Great vehicle performance.
I never really have any problems with my vehicle. So, far only the basics needed to be done such as oil changes, new brake pads, new tires, etc. I have never had the truck break down and it always ride smoothly. I only have the basics inside the truck.

A powerful all occasion multifunctional vehicle!
120k miles without any issues or repairs! Great performance on all road conditions or off-road! A little high on gas 20 miles/ gallon, but it is a powerful vehicle! We love the cockpit controlled trunk window for the dogs! Sound system is very good too! And sunroof is a plus!

Toyota 4runner-beautiful, easy to drive, and safe.
Our Toyota 4runner is excellent. It is the perfect size for our four person family, but it can also fit large hockey bags and luggage when we go on vacation. In addition, it drives very well-was very easy to learn to drive in. I am also very pleased with how safe it is, especially in comparison to our other family car, which is a jeep. The car itself is beautiful and even after nine years, it looks and drives brand new after a good cleaning. Would highly recommend to anyone in the market for a great SUV.

Very well made. It will last for years.
I love the look of the 4runner. It is very comfortable and drives great. Also, Toyotas last forever.

Great car for big families that do not want a mom van.
Really great car, very ample, useful for family trips but uses a lot of gas, the turn radius is not amazing but it is not bad either if you need a large car to carry some cargo this is a great car, does well in most terrains, very comfortable interior.
accountCircle Steven J
It gets me from point A to point B.
The Toyota 4Runner is a dependable sport utility vehicle that has a decent mileage for a mid-size sport utility vehicle. The 4Runner does not have as much standard features as a American sport utility vehicle, like automatic door locks and windows. It does not have a backup camera nor a navigation system.

My family loves our 4runner!
I love my 4runner! It fits our family of 4 comfortably on long road trips and our 3rd row seat helps when we have family or friends with us. After 8 years the mileage still meets original efficiency and maintenance has been good overall - like all the Toyotas I have owned before.

Mechanically sound! Bad gas mileage!
The good - plenty of room and 3rd row seating. Drives and feels like a truck which is not found in most SUV’s today. Very mechanically reliable, I have had to do anything more than normal maintenance. Great off road 4 wheel drive capabilities. The bad - gas mileage! I would highly recommend this vehicle. At ten years and 200k miles mine is still going strong with no major problems. Great off road and in the snow. I wish mine had a sunroof but really like that the back window goes down. The only complaint is the gas mileage.

Pros from Owners

likeFilled Matthew H.

It is a comfortable car, it has a lot of room and space. It is maintained very well and has not had any issues over 10 years. I would recommend this car to other buyers. The only con is you need to get a net for the back because there is no lip to catch things from falling out of the trunk.

likeFilled La R.

It is a durable vehicle that does not require a lot of maintenance. When work is required, it is affordable and easy to find parts. It is easy to drive and it is a smooth ride. There is a third row giving plenty of room.

likeFilled Divitra B.

It is a SUV that can go off-road. It is a very durable vehicle (due to a recent car accident where I was rear-ended. It only left a dent in my vehicle, but totaled the vehicle that hit me). Also, it has Rear Parking Sensors to alert if you are too close to anything.

likeFilled Lisa M.

There is a lot of cargo space. It has a great safety rating. The gas mileage is not too bad for a vehicle it is size. It has an optional third row. Mechanically it has been very reliable. The air-conditioning works great and I live in Florida.

likeFilled Nicole S.

I love that the back window rolls all the way down. There is a lot of cargo space in the trunk. We have dogs that we like to travel with on long road trips so there is plenty of room for them in the trunk. I love the back up camera and sensor.

likeFilled Lyle R.

Solid built, quiet with upgraded features, good mileage for large vehicle, comfortable ride with nice seating and head room. There is also ample room for storage for road trips, and the design of the vehicle makes it a nice looking vehicle. Nice instrument panel with red light lettering for clear night vision.

Cons from Owners

dislikeFilled Matthew H.

There aren't very many cons like I said before, the back trunk is flat on the bumper and items will fall out if you don't attach a net to the back of the trunk. Other cons are it doesn't have convex mirrors seen on a lot of SUVs today.

dislikeFilled La R.

The gas mileage, like all SUVs, is poorer than smaller vehicles. Various features, such as a backup camera, where not standard options for the 2011 model. The headlights are a little dim. There is a high upfront cost, although the model holds it value pretty well.

dislikeFilled Divitra B.

I was it was more gas-efficient. Also, after a while, especially living in a region where temperatures can soar into the triple digits, the trunk opener coating starts to melt. This makes it hard to press in to open the trunk.

dislikeFilled Lisa M.

It can be difficult for some passengers to get in and out of due to how high the seats are. It can be challenging to park. I feel like there are too many blind spots and difficult to change lanes at times.

dislikeFilled Nicole S.

Not many negative things about this car. It drives well. I think a third row option would be beneficial for those trips that are not as long. The back seat is spacious but could benefit from a third row.

dislikeFilled Lyle R.

Cannot think of any. No maintenance other than routine; solid built but not bulky. The engine and all parts under the hood are top quality factory installs, no little annoyances or need to be taken into dealer.

I believe we paid around 30 thousand. We have leather seats and a sunroof. Over the years it has not broken down on us. We have driven it well over 100,000 miles. Will definitely buy another Toyota

The cost of the Toyota 4-runner was $35,000 before rebates or cash back offers. I think this is a good value for the reliable vehicle.

I purchased mine for about $27,000, but it holds its value. You can buy another one for cheaper if it has more miles.
Alyssa W.
It is pre owned so I'm not sure what the buyer paid for it but I only paid $4,000 and it was well worth it
