It is considered to be a very safe vehicle.
Vehicle has a roomy interior. I love the sporty exterior. It is very dependable and perfect for my family.

Old dog, but has some amazing tricks.
Seats are super comfortable, handling is great, and it feels like you are driving a really safe vehicle. Has a lot of power behind it but is very smooth and easy to drive. Might be an older model, but it feels amazing. Reliable but also requires a lot of skill to keep the miles per gallon high.

Great off-road vehicle and reliable.
Vehicle is now 5 years old. No problems have occurred so far. Only negative I can think of is rather poor fuel economy at about 19 mpg overall. Some of that is due to all terrain tires and the fact that we do use vehicle off-road which is what it is designed for. Very durable and reliable and has all the options that I want and none that I do not want. Today's vehicles are very tough to find without having to pay for stuff that you do not desire.

Great choice for a mom ride!! I love it!!
The limited provides smooth comfortable riding/driving. Leather trim is great for anyone who has children. Third row seats come in handy, and also lots of storage space when third row is not in use. I love the fact that it is small enough for me to get around easily, yet big enough to carry everything I need on a daily basis such as baby stroller, etc. And still have room for groceries!

Perfect purchase with all the bells and whistles.
It's a great car and very reliable. Its fuel efficient and easy to handle. The interior is beautiful. Its a very timeless car that really doesn't lose value. Smooth ride and accommodation for navigation. It has all the bells and whistles. It has a third row which is great for extra tots to yote around.

SUV with luxury, style and easily traveled.
The leather seats are extremely comfortable, and the lumbar support is great on the drivers side. Having heated seats and tons of space for packing s careful is nice. It can tow 5000 lbs and rides soon smooth. Mileage could be slightly better, the stereo system and backup camera are amazing.

Toyota 4 runners are stylish and practical and they are reliable.
Mechanically no issues at all. The only complaint I have is my windshield gets cracked easy. I am on my 4th windshield. I do more long distance travel and my vehicle stays steady and drives nice. Seats are comfortable enough to sit for long hours. I also love my backpack cam that is in my rearview mirror.

Road trip vehicle of the year.
My 4runner runs pretty well. It currently has 78,000 miles on it and I never had any problems. It is extremely comfortable for long distance driving and if you put the back seats down, it is not too bad to sleep in. I get about 20 mpg on the highway and 18 in the city so it is not too bad on wallet for gas either. It is a great vehicle to own and I recommend to anyone with a sense of adventure.

4 wheel drive is a must have for me and I have had zero issues with it.
The vehicle performs great. I have used the 4 wheel drive numerous times and I don't know what I did before it. No issues with anything.

I love the rear window and how it is able to go up and down.
The breaks are very sensitive. The vehicle gets great gas mileage and overall performance is good. I love the interior and all the gadgets. It just takes awhile getting used to the brakes. The exterior has a lot of detail and the pearl color is beautiful.

It can tow other cars because it is a pretty big car and can fit 5 people easily
I like how spacious the car is. I like how i can fit the whole family without being squeezed. It's not always the easiest car to park, so i hate how wide it is.

Not luxury but comfy with basic features.
Somewhat quiet ride. 2013 model with limited “extras”. GPS has poor quality. Sunroof is a nice option. Good amount of trunk space. Pull down console in second row with two drink holders. Never can seem to get the seating completely comfy. Power seating on both driver side and passenger side.

OK......so I have had my Limited since new and have put nearly 200k miles on it now . Always serviced at the Dealer. Positives.....pretty much bullet proof reliability. Only the usual consumables. As such I feel like I could easily get another 100k miles out of it. Easily. Probably more. Not so Positives......seats are not great on long journeys......lots of numb you know what. So on balance? Great vehicle and well worth the money, particularly if you want to keep it for a long, long time. And not spend too much doing it!

The Toyota 4runner is reliable, safe and trustworthy!
I love the safety features in my Toyota 4runner and it has been extremely reliable. It has over 150k miles and is still running great. This is my second 4runner and I would recommend this vehicle to anyone! It is also very roomy and allows my family enough cargo space and passenger space. And, I love the way it looks!

Pros from Owners

likeFilled Christina L.

It handles well and is very comfortable. So far I have had zero issues with it and the interior feels like a luxury car. It has a backup camera with lines that makes parallel parking a lot easier. The Bluetooth setup is also handy.

likeFilled Megan D.

4x4 off road capabilities. Attachments for roof and tow hitch like bike rack, snowboard rack, rooftop tent and awnings. Folding seats & space. Great for camping. Back window special decals. Great body style.

Cons from Owners

dislikeFilled Christina L.

There are no seat warmers which is frustrating. It uses up a lot of gas. There really are not that many cons about this car. I did a ton of research on it prior to buying it and I think I made a great purchase.

dislikeFilled Megan D.

Touchy brakes for street driving, great for off-roading though. Sometimes cramped if pack too much for long trips and can only hold front passengers. Worried about room for a car seat when the time comes.

Yes, I like it a lot. It’s reliable and drives well. It’s also very family friendly and safe. Toyota’s also are supposed to last longer than other brands which is another reason I bought it.

I bought it use for around $30,000. I feel like brand new they are pretty pricey but I feel like you get what you pay for because it is a good car that will last.
Victor M.
I didn't buy mine, but I believe it cost around $20,000-$25,000. Mine was used and had been out 3-4 years so I think that’s a good value considering how reliable and long lasting Toyota’s are.
