The car drives nicely, it is very comfortable, and a great traveling car. Needs little or no maintenance other than oil changes, etc. It is very roomy inside. I bought it used with low mileage and have had it for 6 years. I would definitely buy another one when and if I want to get a newer car.
Very stable vehicle, you do not feel bumpiness in the ride. It is a luxury vehicle, it has nice features like heated seats. The seats are electronic and adjustable ( going front and also reclining). There is ample storage space. It comes with a full size spare tire.
I have no complaints about the car. The fact that is an older car, it does not have the features of a newer car such as back up camera, Bluetooth, etc. Of course, being a larger car, it does not have the best gas mileage, however, when traveling, the mileage is decent.
It is bad with gas mileage. Since it is a v6 engine it does not get more than 18 on city, I usually get 14-15 mpg. The gas mileage is like a truck. The highway (with no traffic) is about 28 mpg, but usually more like 22 when there is rush hour. The car is full size sedan. It does not fit well in compact parking.
The 2010 Toyota Avalon has an average owner rating of 4.40 out of 5 which ranks it #4 of 9 other Large Cars.
