Toyota Avalon, the best luxury car everyone can afford.
I have owned my Toyota Avalon for almost a year now. In that time I have fallen in love. I used to be a guy who enjoyed SUVs or a hatchback, but the Avalon really showed how superior a sedan is. Not many people are aware of the Avalon because the Camry or corolla are more mainstream, but the few people that decide to upgrade to the Avalon model are never disappointed. For a cheap price you can get top of the line luxury, you can't afford that nice Mercedes? The Avalon has you covered. The car itself has extremely high quality leather for the seats that make the interior of your car look stellar. The exterior is similar to a Camry but is longer and fatter making it a mini limo. The suspension is also something to brag about, going over any bumps feels like you are gliding over ice it is so smooth. You do not need to spend a load of money to get a nice luxury car, all you have to do is get yourself a Toyota Avalon. My car is 9 years old and still looks like a brand new 2020.

My Avalon is one of the smoothest rides on the road without paying luxury prices.
I have bought Toyota's all of my life. I love their durability, the driving feel, and the savings on gas. The Avalon has a body similar to the Lexus 400 so I love the room due to my height (6'6). I am confident I can get 250, 000 miles out of this vehicle even though I live in Chicago.

I love my Toyota Avalon so much.
I have a Toyota Avalon year 2011 and it is really great and comfortable and reliable! I love it so very much and it is a outstanding car for anyone. It was a hand-me-down car from my mother. It has all the bells and whistles: heated seats, sunroof, auto windows, auto seats, etc.

I feel very safe and comfortable in my car. It is extremely reliable and I never worry about it starting in cold weather.
I have no complaints. The car has always run smoothly and is very comfortable. It has needed minimal repairs.

Evaluating the 2011 Toyota Avalon.
Very reliable, comfortable seating, good handling, spacious interior, excellent visibility. The trunk poorly designed, it is spacious but does not hold much, no fold down rear seating, good gas mileage for a six cylinder, holds resale value, low cost maintenance.

Nice car, despite gas mileage.
It is a very comfortable luxury vehicle that is spacious. It does not have fold down seats in the back which I would have preferred. It eats gas. 17 miles per gallon. I am very happy with it though and it is worth the cost. There is a sunroof in mine which I do not use very often, I enjoy it when I do but if you can save money without it I'd recommend to skip that feature.

Very dependable great gas mileage very comfortable
I like that it is reliable and has never strained me anywhere. I gets great gas mileage. It ha a large trunk and lots of room on the inside.

It is very comfortably on the inside loud radio.
Not working well nobody knows how to give the issue. Keep running hot. When I first bought it worked every well but now it is giving me a lot of problems. I really hate I got this car I thought it would be very reliable but it has not been. I wouldn't recommend this vehicle to anyone because it is not reliable at all.

Too much wind noise on highway. Back window too small.
Feels too cramped in back seat. Windows not big enough. No cup holders in back seat. Too many issues with car, low to ground.
accountCircle Madeline R
It is a very reliable car and it is very spacious for a car.
I like that my car is reliable and a good running car. I like the color (black) of my car. I do not like how long it is and I would like to have an SUV.

Astoundingly average Avalon.
The rear view mirrors on each side seem loose and wobbly. Seems like that would not be like that. It is expensive to maintain, not as reliable as other Toyotas I have owned. Very comfortable with nice features, just seems to always have something that needs to be repaired.
accountCircle Italy O
There is no aux cord in the car.
You need a tape adapter I think that is what it is called, they are not cheap and hardly work, so therefore I cannot play music from my phone because there is no where for an six cord. Besides that the car is really good. Has a nice look and is comfortable.
accountCircle Christopher R

Affordable, reliable, and stylish.
The 2011 Avalon is a great car with luxury features at an affordable price. The streamline design and safety features provides any driver with a safe, reliable, and stylish ride. The Avalon offers some of the same features as more expensive vehicles, so less pay and same features. Overall, a great car at an affordable price.

Good full size, luxury type sedan
Car is a good size, reliable, and safe. I just feel that it is too low to get in and out of. When gas light comes on, you better get gas QUICK. Like within 2 miles.

This is my 2nd Avalon. 170,000 miles so far and still runs great. Has had a problem since day 1 with wipers turning off on their own. Dealer has no idea why. Besides that, I love my car and really have an emotional connection with it. Superb on the highway with the V6. I’m told it will go well over 200,000 miles. Will be buying a new one and keeping this one for my son.

Pros from Owners

likeFilled Booker R.

It has a smooth ride and is very comfortable. The car has Bluetooth and has good handling. This car is reliable and fun to have and drive. The car has: backup camera, heated seats and defrost mirrors.

likeFilled Timothy G.

The pros of my vehicle are the gas mileage. Cannot beat it! I barely have to fill up my car throughout the week and I spend a lot of it commuting. I also really like the comfort of the car. I also enjoy the back seat space, and the space in trunk.

likeFilled Joe P.

Very spacious, comfortable and great road trip car. Gets good gas mileage and very dependable. Easy to get in and out especially for older people. We bought new and only work that has been done is routine maintenance.

likeFilled Jenny H.

The Toyota Avalon is a comfortable car. The interior is roomy, and we always have lots of space for people and our belongings. The car rides very smoothly down the road. The car has a lot of features.

Cons from Owners

dislikeFilled Booker R.

The backup camera is kind of old and the maps on the display are outdated. I am not sure that can be fixed but I would like to have that option. Some buttons are somewhat out of place for the convenience of the driver.

dislikeFilled Timothy G.

The cons of my vehicle are that I feel like I need work on it often. I have to get a decent amount of work done. I am not a fan of the appearance of the vehicle either. I wish it looked a little more sporty.

dislikeFilled Joe P.

There are no drawbacks or problems. Never have had any problems to speak of and there is no downside on buying this car whatsoever. Car is roomy and can even seat six adults comfortably. This is a great car.

dislikeFilled Jenny H.

It is expensive to repair. It seems to always have something that needs attention beyond just routine maintenance (oil changes, tire rotations, etc.). It is actually the worst Toyota I have owned, and I have owned 4.
