It is a very reliable vehicle that performs well.
No complaints. It's a hybrid, so it is great on gas. It is a comfortable ride, it handles beautifully, plenty of room, and no problems for four years now.

The handle on the driver's door can be touched in order to lock or unlock the doors.
I love the backup camera. It is very helpful when parking. I also love how I don't need to turn the key for the ignition.

My experience with my 2014 Avalon hybrid limited.
The Avalon hybrid limited is very reliable and saves on gas too. The car has a nice ride, is quiet and easy to drive. The only problem I have encountered so far has to do with the rear sunshade. The rear sunshade had to be replaced because the motor in the original in gave out.

When you have the regular maintenance performed, you should not have any problems. Great car for the money.
The Avalon rides just like a Lexus. It has regular maintenance performed and has never had any major problems. I will buy another one in a minute. Best car I have ever had for the money.

Car is an awesome long term investment.
The only problem I have had is the sun screen going out. It's an electrical issue. Other than that the cat is very reliable, fast, and I am at almost 85000 miles without concern. When I bought the car 4 years ago, there were new tires put on, I have only replaced one tire due to a screw. The wear and tear on this vehicle is minimal.

This is my go-to car to travel in.
Personally, I love this vehicle. It has good pick-up, lots of room, and is nice for a cheaper car. Squeezing five people in a car can sometimes be a hassle, but with the Avalon we never fail to have enough leg room for everyone. It is a great car for a new driver as well as gets good gas mileage and drives smooth on long rides.

Luxurious Toyota Avalon XLE.
The car is a v6 and drive really fast. It is smooth on the road and stable. This is one of the best Toyota cars ever made. The car is not bad on gas. The car is roomy and have enough space to fit tall passengers. The air conditioner works very well and very cool.

Dependable in the coldest weather- starts easily and is good in the snow
Dependable, easy to drive, low maintenance my wife likes it. Good gas mileage. We have 2 of the same make and they will be replaced with the same make in the future

Keep up on maintenance and service it will last a long time. It is comfortable.
No it is a great reliable vehicle. Keep up on maintenance and services, it is very economical to go back and forth. We have to go to Stanford to a lot Angeles at least a 6 to 10 times a year. I just hate it. Not what I would have picked. I did not have no say so nor got to choose.

My 2014 Avalon is great..except for back up camera. Glare on the screen makes ialmost impossible to see. Drove VW and its camera system is brighter, clearer, greater color distinctions, and overall much better then Toyota Avalon’s system.

It drives nice and maintenance don't cost much.
I dislike that I'm having starter issues and when the driver door unlocks all doors unlock. Other than that I love the car.

Toyota is a reliable, high quality manufacturer.
Hybrid avalon with premium seats, trim. I like the comfortable, quiet ride. I like the gas mileage though it was better when new. The leather seats are a little hard to keep clean.

Pros from Owners

likeFilled Robin L.

Comfortable heated adjustable seats. The ride is nice and smooth on bumpy secondary roads and the highways. The gas mileage is good. The trunk has plenty of room for luggage or big shopping trip to the warehouse store.

likeFilled Aja W.

The vehicle drives really well. The wheels are in great condition and the break/accelerator have a nice push pedal. The interior is clean and leather. The front passenger seat warms up in cold weather.

likeFilled Jessica B.

The Toyota Avalon offers many pros. First and foremost, it offers an amazing amount of room. Sometimes it can be uncomfortable squeezing five people in a sedan. With the Avalon it offers an amazing amount of legroom, making squeezing convenient and comfortable. The car is also amazing on long trips. Within five and a half hours, one tank of gas will last the entire trip.

Cons from Owners

dislikeFilled Robin L.

The biggest con of the vehicle is the replacement costs of part after being hit from behind. It does not have sensors for parking. The back up camera faces downward making the driver possibly missing obstacles in the way.

dislikeFilled Aja W.

The vehicle does get to a point where it makes a noise when you do press on the breaks. The tires are wearing off. There needs to be tests run on the engine because it is running low a little. That is all I have for now.

dislikeFilled Jessica B.

The cons to the Toyota Avalon is how low it sits to the ground. When parking in spots that have sidewalk, or blocks in front, if you pull up too much the front of the car gets scraped up. You do not realize how low to the ground you are until you park.
