Initially, the car seats were firm but comfortable and I certainly enjoyed the cooling/heating aspect. However after 2 years and 30K miles, my seat (the driver side) has become less filled and quite hard. The passenger side where my wife rarely sits remains the same as new. I am not heavy (155lbs) and the seats can be easily be seen noticeably different. It’s gotten to the point where I will have to get a good seat cushion to continue driving.

I own a 2019 Toyota Hybrid Limited. The subscription to my Dynamic Navigation just expired. Toyota is charging $169 for the part needed and the dealership adds $365 for an installation fee. To me this is outrageous. I have owned several other Avalons and the subscription was NEVER this costly Be advised of this and factor it into your next purchase.

2019 Avalon limited (red).
I love my Toyota Avalon. This is the third Avalon that I have owned. I have found that the Avalon is exceptionally comfortable. I have never had any serious problems with my Avalon. I always keep the service up to date and catch any issues early.

Under carriage noise
2019 Toyota Avalon XLE It has fluttering or flapping under carriage noise. Visited 3 local Toyota dealerships.Notified Toyota Moter Sales USA. No action taken to resolve this issue. Since 2007, I have owned 3 Toyotas. 2 Avalons and 1 Camry XLE. Without a resolution to this problem, this one will be my last Toyota.

One major flaw
This is my third Avalon. Absolutely love the car, however one terrible flaw. There is something in the car that causes the interior glass to fog up, it looks just like a heavy smoker has been driving the car . I have cleaned them with ammonia, windex, dawn and glass magic, it stays clean for a day or two then right back to horrible. Have friends with Avalon’s who are experiencing the same problem. One of them is my detailer, 9maybe it is time for some “class action”

Pros and cons of Avalon car.
I like my vehicle it is smooth when you drive it, but I feel the roof of the car is a little bit low that make seeing the car behind you a little bit challenging. The other thing I like about it is that it does not consume a lot of gas so it is economic.

Rattle noise in the front left with wind from the right
I had this rattle (sounded like marbles in a plastic milk jug) in the front with wind out of the right. They replaced insulation on the bottom panels. Still had the problem. Turned out it was sound insulation against a brake line bracket. This had to be pulled away some.

Great Car!

Fluttering noise under car...
Love the car, but had a flapping or fluttering noise under the front end that was irritating. Seemed to happen at speeds over 45 mph. Classic Toyota in Mentor, Ohio found the problem. There are plastic panels under the car that wind causes to make the noise. The tech added foam between the panels. Noise gone!!!

Terrible noise Toyota is trying to say is normal
Loved the car but after about 6 weeks or so and only a couple thousand miles it developed a rumbling noise from the left front of the car. Toyota is claiming thats normal and wont do anything about it. This is totally unacceptable! We bought the best you have in luxury cars and it definitely shouldnt sound like this. The 2004 Avalon we traded in didnt and my 2015 camry doesnt. If this is normal for your car Toyota then you are making an INFERIOR product! Also, a normal car sound doesnt get worse with time. Something is very wrong here and the least you could do is stand by it and make it right.

The new model is objectively better in almost every way. It is more spacious, more comfortable and more pleasing to drive, whether you are looking for comfort from the limited model or a more engaged touring model's ride. Toyota has even overhauled its Entune infotainment and made most of its advanced safety technology standard across the lineup. First Toyota we have hated!
We bought a top of the line 2019 Toyota Avalon. We have had all Toyota’s over the years from Tercel’s, Camry's,highlanders, and Avalon’s. This remodel of the Avalon is TERRIBLE!!! Too low to the ground,front doors come back at u when opening!, electronics location and performance NOT user friendly, electronics go out when snowing or hailing (our salesperson says is a reported problem and we should stop and wipe off cameras!!!!! For a $45k plus car!!!! If u hold steering wheel at bottom two locations - u get hand aches. Could go on and on. We will probably get rid of this car soon!!!! Toyota, go back to your older proven designs!!!!

It's a great car and it is very affordable. It got so many feature. The cosmetics parts are all available.It's giving me a great feedback. Toyota may have committed itself to producing a more performance for the Avalon with this generation. But it's still comfort first. That shows up the chassis is tuning as well.

The vehicle has great maneuverability and good pick up. Original stock tires are very noisy end it is difficult to he have a conversation on the highway. Audio difficulties with 2019 Avalon.
The Alexa and Toyota feature has difficulties working in general. It does not sense what you are saying sometimes. And when you change the radio stations the system will take a few seconds to adjust the volume up itself because it turns it down when you switch stations.

Most comfortable ride I have ever had.

Important things are missing on XSE
The car is absolutely beautiful but there are some things about the XSE model that are very frustrating.I had the 2018 XLE premium model and it had memory seats which is not available on the XSE.I am totally bummed about that.also the vents in the center do you not have the option to be closed which I think is totally weird and the big inconvenience. Why would you make payments why would you make vents that can’t shut.I also like that the seat heaters in the 2018 model because they were dial knobs as opposed to only having 3 adjustments in the 2019 XSE.last but not least I preferred the leather seats in the 2018 as opposed to the XSE only coming in Softec/suede.other than that I love everything about it.

Almost all good.
Purchased in July, 2018. Nearly everything is fine except the lane keeping assist and the clear coat paint. I'm used to the LKA in the Acura line, those will actually steer the car to keep it in its lane. Not the Avalon, almost indectable nudge on the wheel. Dealer says it's working as it should. And the final clear coat is very very soft. I have scratches that are fingerprints on the trunk lid. Not drag marks, fingerprints that are scratches. Never seen that one before. Limited trim, hybrid, Opulent Amber paint. A friend who once ran a Ford dealer's body shop said not to try to get Toyota to repaint the car, that would be a huge mistake. So I'm stuck. Doors are scratched as well, but not the hood and roof. And no, has not been through a car wash.

The Avalon is a great car it is looks very sophisticated and rides smooth the car is both modern and classy. The Avalon has great mileage and I prefer the brown and black version. I also like the different modes such as cruise and sports mode. The Avalon has a very high tech navigation system and radio the jbl speakers are immaculate I would recommend this car to anyone who is shopping for cars. The only bad thing about the car is that the dark sensors that trigger the high berms are sometimes triggered by the fog.

Three tori’s has a sensor noise when other cars come to close to mine.
My vehicle is mostly wonderful. The only problem I have is the beeping sensor when another car come to close. On that note the 2020 Toyota is a good car with good miles on it, and good space if you have any children. The seats are made with leather so spilling items in the care will be easier to clean than most cars.

The seat are leather like and they get hot in the summer heat.
I got a v6 instead of 4 cylinder it burns a lot of gas. The seat are not that comfortable. The tint is too dark at night to see out of the back windows. The headrest is too high. The voice recognition is hard to set up. The map kills the phone and you have to download a map app.

Superb vehicle
I love my 2019 Avalon hybrid limited.Has great technology. I would prefer a remote start on the key fob over the phone app, it’s a little slow to get to , I don’t use an Apple Watch which was suggested. The seats are stitched quilted leather (not much padding)and get uncomfortable on long rides. Im getting 43.5 mpg average and I have 16 k miles on my car now. I feel like a queen riding around it is so stylish and smooth ride.

This car has 305 horsepower! Sporty and luxurious. Best of both worlds!
Only issue is in winter time some of the electronic options don't work immediately. Only happens occasionally. Seats are a bit uncomfortable on long drives. I have back issues anyway. None of these issues are a big deal for me. It is a VERY nice car.

Reliability
This is my third Avalon and am very pleased with it drives like the Lexus. Sport mode very powerful and takes bumps and curves very well while still comfortable and quiet. Stereo is great and love the head on display on wind shield. For its price range it has many options. Would love 4 wheeled drive but am very satisfied with front wheel drive and less understeer compared to2012 and 2016 models. Engine and 8 speed transmission very smooth.

General highlights- only a couple cons
Gas tank is small and we have to fill up frequently. No button on trunk to open trunk. Other than that, car is very reliable, comfortable and large. The center console display is very nice and large touch screen. Handles very well. Eco, normal, and sports mode makes it very accommodating for different situations

Smooth Operator
I was looking to replace my SUV and decided I was in the market for a safe and comfortable car. The Avalon fit the bill perfectly. Has all the safety features I was looking for and more convenience features then I will probably use. It has ample power and fantastic brakes and rides very smoothly. 2019 luxurious Toyota Avalon features.
My vehicle have comfortable seats. Saves more gas than my last car. It is build on a v6 so it can go from 0-60 mph real well. Although it is from the Camry family it has a more luxurious feel when driven. It is a luxury sedan from a non luxury brand. The 2019 Avalon is about an inch lower than the ongoing one which makes it look a bit sportier. It is channeled in an 8th speed transmission. Overall it is an affordable luxurious brand car.

Overlook the questionable front fascia, the car is much improved on all counts.
Bumps and imperfections are ably absorbed by the suspension, giving the Avalon a comfortable ride without being too floaty. If you can overlook the questionable front fascia, the Avalon is much improved on all counts. It is actually sporty for the first time ever, but still comfortable.

Nothing is convenient. Almost no storage. They should take a lesson from 2008 Tacoma. Seats are hard. Ride so-so. Too much like the 2013 Model that I hated. Please get back to the 2000 features. We love it and still drive it.

Also very reliable, with led lights that shine so bright, so you can see the roads better at night. I have had zero problems. My routine maintenance, ie, oil change only service needed, annually my tire pressure light goes on, seasonally because we are in a warm climate. Overall it is the perfect size. Roomy, yet very maneuverable. The interior is black.Living in the desert I initially was hesitant, due to heat, however the air, climate, auto control works exceptionally well. The sound system is great. Also the 6 cylinder engine so great.

Entire Middle of front seat is inconvenient. It provides a nice quiet ride, but controls are never intuitive and have to be learned.
