Spacious basic luxury car.
My Toyota Camry drives like a luxury car. It is so comfortable to drive for any kind of trip whether it is used for errands all day or for a road trip, the Toyota Camry meets every personal comfort need. The features are very basic. What I like the most is the soft lighting on the dash panel. It is easy in the eyes and not distracting. The option automated windows is also a lovely feature that I am so thankful to have. Overall, a great reliable car I plan to have for years to come.

It runs great even with high miles. I've taken it all over the country.
I already have 216K miles on it and it runs great. I've only had 1 big sensor I had to replace. I've done the routine oil change, tires and brakes. I love Toyotas.

Value of my vehicle and service has been the best.
No problems. Very reliable. I continue to keep my vehicle serviced which keeps it in good shape. When I visit the dealer service is always great. I will continue to keep my vehicle serviced on time to make it last as long as possible. Toyota is a good product. I will always depend on Toyota.

Toyota's are made to last long.
My vehicle runs smooth and comfortable. It has lasted me a long time without thinking of purchasing a new vehicle. Other than regular maintenance, no major issues. It is been good and reliable for city and long runs. I would definitely consider purchasing another Toyota vehicle.

Amazing hybrid Toyota Camry.
I love my Toyota Camry. The seats are cloth so they do not get hot in the summer. The inside of the car is very spacious and so is the trunk. There is a lot of storage space and cup holders in the car as well. I also like that my car is a hybrid so it is environmental friendly and has really great gas mileage. The back seat has lots of room.

Vehicle is falling apart. Normal wear and tear is expected but it is not holding.
The vehicle is raggedy. It is old to me. It is rusty and falling apart. The sun visor is coming down. The trunk liner is coming off. It reeks of mildew because the trunk gets wet. Camry overall is a good brand but they need to make the cars better. I like the new one though.

The vehicle does possess a 6-speed manual shift option.
The Toyota Camry is a reliable car but has very much trouble in the snow. Other downsides include some minor design issues, such as the seating and gas pedal. It is a good vehicle for commuting and gets great gas mileage, however. If I was to rate the overall performance of the car, I would give it a 6.5/10.

It's just cost to much to fix.
The radio goes off when I hit a bump. The trac light comes on. Poor gas mileage. The wheel bearings are messed up.

It is worth the money. Great car.
I do not have a problem with my car. The only problem is I want a newer model and color. I need to fix the windshield as well. I love it I have not had any major maintenance problem. The engine is great. Camrys are pretty good cars. I love it. I would rather keep my car.
accountCircle Jenny N
One detail is that it has a radio and Bluetooth speaker.
It is quite hard to feel the ac in the backseat and because it is such a low vehicle, it commonly gets wrecked on the bottom of the car because of potholes in Texas roads. It has fabric seating which is perfect in the hot weather since leather burns when we sit on it. The color is gray, which makes bird poop not stand out.

Toyota Camry advantages and disadvantages.
The Camry performance was fantastic. It is comfortable family car. The reliability also is high. I do not like the design of interior new Camry. The old one much beautiful. The engine power is perfect. The problem is that it is sedan not very good for snowy days.

What Problems Does the 2011 Toyota Camry have?

The 2011 Toyota Camry problems include rare sudden acceleration and bad wiring in heated seats. The 2011 Camry has fewer complaints than its competitors, and a similar number compared to later years. Malfunctioning door locks are the most frequent problems mentioned by owners. Replacing the actuator solves the problem. Poor exterior paint quality is also brought up. Usually, it’s a clear coat failure and the only solution is repainting the affected panels. A common problem among nearly all Toyota vehicles is excessive oil consumption. Check the oil levels regularly in a Camry to make sure it’s full. Low oil can cause damage to engine components.

There are five recalls affecting the 2011 Camry, average for a car its age. They include incorrect labels, the occupant sensing system for the front seats, premature ball joint wear, and electrical wiring in the seat heaters. Most serious is ball joint wear since it can cause the suspension to fail, increasing the risk of an accident.

What are the Prices, Models & Specs?

The 2011 Toyota Camry trims include very basic base and sporty SE options. The 2011 Camry is more expensive than other midsize cars, available from $9,087 to $13,562 depending on the mileage and model. When new, it had a price of $20,195 to $29,845. It depreciates at an average rate for its class, losing 49% of its value in the first five years.

  • Base is the entry-level model. Standard features include 16-inch steel wheels, audio controls on the steering wheel, cruise control, cloth seating, and a six-speaker stereo with AM/FM/CD and AUX playback.
  • LE is next in the lineup. Improvements include a power driver’s seat with lumbar adjustment, remote keyless entry, satellite radio, and USB connectivity.
  • SE is above the LE and focuses on performance. Included are 17-inch alloy wheels, a sport-tuned suspension, leather-wrapped steering wheel, aluminum interior trim, and new sport fabric seats.
  • XLE is the flagship model. Luxury is the focus in the XLE, with 16-inch alloy wheels, heated mirrors, leather seating with heated front seats, a power moonroof, and a JBL stereo system with 9 speakers and Bluetooth connectivity.

How Long Will the 2011 Toyota Camry Last?

A properly cared for 2011 Toyota Camry will last 250,000 miles or more, above average for its class. The Camry is more affordable than other midsize cars to own. Repair Pal estimates maintenance costs to be $390 per year. There are not many serious problems with the 2011 Camry, so the higher purchase price is offset by the lower long-term ownership costs.

Yes, it is reliable. During my ownership of the car, I have only had one factory recall for the dash and that was completed covered and replaced brand new by the manufacturer and dealer. It is a low maintenance vehicle.

accountCircle Megan P

Yes, as long as you keep up with regular maintenance you will not run into problems. Sometimes the headlights bulb need to be re-secured.

accountCircle Radhika Y

Yes, good for long trips and you can trust on this vehicle. We usually go for long trips by own car and save rent amount.

accountCircle Marissa R

Yes it is a reliable car. The only problem I have had is the speed sensor going bad and the brakes wear out kind of quickly.

accountCircle crystal d

The Toyota Camry that I currently drive is very reliable. I have kept up on maintaining the oil brakes battery and other fluids and I have had no issues with this car at any other time.

What Technology & Safety Features are Included?

Technology in the 2011 Camry is acceptable for its age and class, but the redesign in 2012 brings better technology to newer models.

  • Base technology includes a stereo with six speakers, AM/FM/CD, and AUX connectivity.
  • Upgrades include two improved stereos. One with USB and Satellite radio, and a flagship JBL stereo with 9 speakers and navigation.
  • For safety, there are seven airbags and the Toyota Star Safety System, including vehicle stability control, traction control, brake assist, and antilock brakes.

What Engine Options are Available?

The 2011 Toyota Camry engine options include two four-cylinders and a V6 that won’t let you down. Performance in the 2011 Camry is average with the four-cylinder engine, and reasonably fast with the V6. The upgraded engine goes from 0 to 60 in 6.1 seconds, which is good for a front-wheel-drive midsize sedan.

  • The base engine is a fuel-efficient 2.5L four-cylinder with 169 horsepower.
  • An upgrade available on the LE, SE, and XLE models is a 3.5L V6 making 268 horsepower.

How Big is the Camry?

Owners report the cabin is quieter than other cars at this price point, providing a more luxurious driving experience. Cargo space is average for its class, with up to 15 cu. ft. of room in the trunk. Carrying four suitcases is no problem for the Camry.

How Does the 2011 Toyota Camry Compare to Other Cars?

Owners rank the 2011 Camry 2nd out of 13 midsize cars, putting it near the top of its class. Above it in the lineup is the Subaru Legacy offering similar passenger room and power. The Subaru comes standard with all-wheel-drive for colder climates with snow, which is not available on the Toyota. Where the Camry wins out is in long-term reliability, since there are fewer mechanical problems. Both are similarly priced, but the Subaru has a lower starting price. Overall, if you’re in the market for a used midsize car, the Toyota is a better choice, being more reliable and affordable to own.

Another competitor to the Camry is the Honda Accord, which has a more engaging and sporty driving feel than the Toyota. Both cars have excellent long-term reliability ratings with similar power. The Accord has a lower initial purchase price, and the Camry has lower ownership costs. Between the two, the choice comes down to brand preference, since both are excellent midsize cars.

Final Verdict: Is the 2011 Toyota Camry a Good Car?

Based on our research and many satisfied owners, yes, the 2011 Toyota Camry is a good car. It’s one of the longest-lasting midsize sedans on the market, with a roomy and comfortable cabin for passengers. Where it misses the mark is with cheap interior materials, and it’s boring to drive compared to other more engaging midsize cars. Overall, the 2011 Camry is a good car for shoppers looking for a reliable daily driver.

Very reliable!!! I have never had a regret buying my 2011 Toyota Camry SE.
We bought the car in 2017 with 70,000 miles. It is now May of 2022 and the car currently has 198,000 miles. My boyfriend has regularly maintained the car since we got it and the car runs and drives like the day we got it!!! He changes the oil every 5,000 miles. We never have to add oil in between changes!! There was one time we changed the oil around 7,000 miles and if we were not doing an oil change we would have needed to add oil. We needed to change alternator around 160,000 but it was clearly the original. We have done wheel bearings and all the inner and outter tie rod ends, but all this stuff is regular maintenance. There was a point in time when shifting from park got really aggressive and we replace all motor and transmission mounts.. That soved the issue. I love this car!!! The main reason i like it so much is because I know that if i go outside right now my car IS going to start and get me where I need to go no questions asked. We have already decided we are going to run the car till no longer runs. I do not see that being any time soon!! Still get 30+ mpg on the highway. Just a all around great vehicle!!!

Most reliable car I have ever had.
I have had this car for years and never presented with a problem. Drive is smooth and good on gas usage. It is spacious and great at acceleration. I feel safe and protected whenever I am going long distances in this car. It has an eco button, great cruise control, and easy readable dashboard. Shows temperature, tire pressure issues and when windshield liquid is low. Hazard light button is easily accessible as well as emergency brake located on the left as a pedal.

Toyota Camry: always a reliable choice.
A Toyota Camry is a very reliable car that will last for a long time. My current car is 9 years old and still runs well, while a Camry I had previously was 20 years old+ before it eventually stopped working. The Camry also drives really easily, making it a great car for teen drivers or anyone new to driving. It is easy to park and just the right size to be comfortable and not too cramped. They are also very fuel efficient and cost effective cars to own. This car has USB ports, a camera to show when you are backing up what's behind you, and a CD player. The air conditioning works great.

I bought it knowingly that it had great ratings and safe when driving it.
This vehicle has been great! I haven't had any major car issues. The comfort is satisfying, there is enough room in the front and back for passengers. The trunk feels big. I feel safe driving it! The navigation system is reliable. Some features are useless but there's there for fancy ness. GPS can be updated. Overall I will be driving this car until it can drive no more!

This car runs just like new for about eight to nine years now. The only problem I ever had with the car was that the battery died a few years back, but other than that everything works just like fine. The car still feels and runs really well. The car is comfortable enough for long car trips.

It is a good car goes fast and stops good. Breaks are kind of loud and I do not know why but that is ok it is still than good. Toyota Camry, the perfect student car, reliable, durable, and long-lasting.
I’d say overall this vehicle is a spectacular make at a very reasonable price range. Toyota may not be a luxury brand, but the parts made that come from japan are reliable and long lasting. Some issues I have stumbled upon are the hollowness of the doors. Although durable and long lasting, the doors are hollow and may easily dent. Along with that is the discoloration of the rear bumper. Over time, if not properly kept in shade or a garage, the bumper may change in color whereas the rest of the vehicles paint will stay the same, causing a bad look.

Reliable Toyota always worthy money .
This model of Toyota is very comfortable and very reliable. I would highly recommend heather for steering wheel ( this model does not have it). I would not recommend leather seats it is get to hot in summer. I would highly recommend to buy car with remote starter build in already because with this model you can get one but is very expensive around 500$ and whenever you open the door engine shuts off (unfortunately it is no other way to do it). I would not pay extra money for sport edition ( transmission option to sport) because there is really not use for it in real life on daily basis.

It is pretty reliable and comfortable. For long distance driving, it has good speed and comfort without any major issue. Even at high speed, it does not make much sound compare to other cars. The vehicle is very reliable. The car is amazing.
Body can easily be damaged to bumpers due to plastic. I have had to replace my front bumper twice. The sun visors easily fall apart and are expensive to replace. The vehicle is very reliable. I have had to have little work done besides body work. Body surface is easy to scratch and dent.

Reliable car, wonderful gas mileage, smooth ride.
No problems, very reliable and great gas mileage. The ride feels smooth and people always fall asleep in my car when I drive so that should tell you how smooth it is. This has been my first car and I have loved it. I would recommend Toyota Camry's for anyone looking to buy a car.

My 2011 Toyota Camry is great.
My 2011 Toyota Camry xle has been wonderful for me. I have had real problems other than ordinary wear, tear, and maintenance. The engine is powerful enough for all circumstances that I have faced. I especially love the heated leather seats, the sound system, and the back-up camera.

Great gas mileage Spacious inside including the trunk Bluetooth.
I have an Toyota Camry 2011 le, and it has proven to be a high performance reliable car. It has great gas mileage, and uses synthetic oil leaving me with smooth travels. It is very durable and spacious. I would recommend replacing the window wipers, and keeping. It has handsfree Bluetooth which you can not set up while the vehicle is in motion.

A smooth and quiet ride, enough cabin space, decent amount of room for cargo.
My Toyota Camry performance is excellent. It has great speed, great take off and it is reliable. And it is comfortable, great gas to the mileage. I just wish it had leather seats, a Bluetooth option and a better sound system. Plus automatic seats and sunroof.

Reliable vehicle for business or personal travel
Had this car for over 5 years, traveled a lot with it with no problems! Nothing major has needed to be done, only maintenance have been done. Decent gas mileage as well. She now has over 180,000 miles on her and still rolling with no major problems or concerns she will be going out on us anytime soon. Very reliable vehicle.
