Excellent passenger room for a sedan, a powerful V6 engine is available, and there’s great technology for the price.
dislikeFilled The Bad
Interior materials on the base models are not as nice as the competition. They’re very boring to drive, and the styling is controversial.

Few things to change, but otherwise perfect.
Sometimes when I go to crank up the car, the wheel has locked up so I have to try to shift it to allow me to crank up the car. It happens very rarely. I have had this car about two years and it has happened less than five times. I am not very fond of this car not having air vents to the back seat and since my Camry is black, it is gets very hot. This is just a little inconvenience. Otherwise, I absolutely love my car and plan on getting another as my next car.

Camrys are reliable and affordable
It is very reliable and I have never had any issues with it. It gets great gas mileage, which is a necessary feature for me because I drive a lot.

An interesting detail I like is the touch screen in the car.
The bumper in front is popped out. It does great on gas. I have had it about 2 to 3 years now. It is still got good steering and mileage. The tires have had a couple of blowouts. The controls to move the seat up and back on the drivers side broke off. The brakes are not the best. We have to change the oil pretty often in the car. The car does pretty well on long distances.
accountCircle Jessica B
The size and comfortability. Also the reliability of my car.
The best thing about my car is it is a great size. There is plenty of room. It is incredibly comfortable. And since I've had it I have not really any major issues with the vehicle! It was a very pricey car for my taste however overall it is a reliable car.

4-cyl, 2.5 liter, abs, am/FM stereo, air conditioning, alloy wheels.
Camry is for the most part a no brainer but in less than a year I have found a few things that make me question Toyota's quality. The Camry is the perfect interstate cruiser and an overall good value checking all the boxes at the expense of a few shortcuts in build quality. If you want a spacious 4 door, efficient & quick ride with a sporty flair in your daily driver, the Camry is a great option and easily matches the v6 accord in that quest.
accountCircle Rose M
That it has a very smooth ride and quiet ride and it has very comfortable seats..
I love the smooth and quiet ride. I also love the comfortable interior seats. I love the backup camera that makes it so easy to back up now. I dislike the colors of the interior and would have liked plain tan seats instead of black and tan and would have liked a tan dash and door panels.

The car has great gas mileage in town and on the freeway.
I have never had problems with my car. It runs great and I love the navigation system. It is also great on gas mileage

Toyota Camry hybrid are the best!
This car is the best! Pretty silent because it is a hybrid, but has enough power to make it go! Easy to drive and haven't had any problems with it. Fits four people well, but having a fifth adult in the back gets tight. The lining in my right passenger window is off so when it goes fast there is a low whistle, but not too annoying.

Anything beyond basic is something you have to pay extra for. You can't even get something as simple as leather seats.

I wish I bought a hybrid instead. I bought this used from carvana hoping it would be easier to maintain. I don't know much about cars but it seems like more than I can handle. New tires, brakes, a/c making noises. I guess I need to make more money so I can just uber everywhere.

Toyota Camry 2014 Pros/Cons
This car is an okay starter car, it's not very comfortable and very limited space. However, the sound system is great with an easy to use touch screen. I would recommend buying leather seat covers in order to improve the look of the interior of the car.

I like Hondas better than Nissan cars. Hondas are more reliable on the road. I have 2 Hondas now and I enjoy driving them very much. The technology in Hondas are much more reliable. My next car will be a Honda accord. I love them so much. Honda is a good purchase.

Worst Car I've ever owned.
Just Paid $3100 to replace the heater/AC blend door. The rod moving the blend door as well as the gears are plastic and broke. $2600 in labor and $600 for blend door box that also houses the heater core. What a messed up configuration. Had to tear down the whole front part of the car, Dash, radio, underbelly of dash, basically the there were not parts untouched in front of driver as well as passengers side. Should never have bought foreign. Next car will be American. 2014 Toyota Camry with 60k

The most effective aspect is that it does not consume a lot of gas.
Its comfortable but technology is improving and I need to upgrade. In most cases, like having a electric car is more beneficial for the environment and it allows me to be contributing to the greater common good. Furthermore, the car is reliable and it is very comfortable, but at the same token is falling apart all the time.

The highs n lows of my Camry.
It is reliable but it is too big and it is uncomfortable to drive. It has no pick up. I enjoy that there is not a lot of mechanical issues and the seats are comfortable. I do not like the leg room in the front seats. The trunk has a lot of space but the car is not good on gas.

2014 Toyota Camry se needs an upgrade in technology. They're behind.
I wanted a truck. It does not have new technology. Ima me to lock keys in my car does not tell me my tire pressure old school backup cam and maps I just am not a big fan.My 2014 Kia forte was way better. I’d suggest a Kia over a Toyota. Andy any day. I wish I could trade it for one actually.

What Problems Does the 2014 Toyota Camry Have?

The 2014 Toyota Camry has fewer problems and is a better midsize sedan than the competition. There are more owner complaints than the 2013 model, but the issues are not as severe.

A/C problems, including musty smells, are the most common issue. Replacing the filter, and clearing the EVAP drain line from the system helps improve the smell. The problem is most common in areas with high humidity.

A check engine light is another problem owners mention. The most common cause is a failed O2 sensor, and replacing the sensor fixes the problem. If you have a check engine light, you should use an OBD-II scan tool to help determine the cause of the problem.

Transmission problems, including torque converter failures, are also brought up by owners. There are a few solutions including flushing the transmission, software updates, as well as replacing the torque converter.

There are 3 recalls, better than other midsize sedans. The recalls include the wiper switch, fuel delivery pipe, and a ball joint on the left lower arm. Most serious is the fuel delivery pipe, since leaks can cause fires in the event of an accident.

  • LE is next in the lineup and adds remote keyless entry, steering wheel audio controls, and automatic headlights.
  • SE is in the middle and has 17-inch alloy wheels, cloth sport seats, sportier suspension, and heated mirrors.
  • SE Sport focuses on performance and has 18-inch alloy wheels, SofTex artificial leather seating, a power driver’s seat, navigation, voice control, EnTune apps, and an optional V6 engine.
  • XLE is the flagship model with 17-inch alloy wheels, dual-zone climate control, SofTex seating, heated front seats, navigation, and fog lights.

How Does the 2014 Toyota Camry Compare to Other Cars?

The 2014 Toyota Camry ranks 4th out of 14 midsize cars, based on owner reviews, placing near the top of the class.

In first place is the more affordable Subaru Legacy. The Subaru has an all-wheel-drive system, which is not available on the Toyota. Reliability ratings are better on the Camry, but the Legacy has more standard safety technology. Both sedans are great choices, and testing both is worth the effort to see which you prefer.

Another close competitor is the Honda Accord, which is in the same price range. Technology is better in the Accord, with an easier to use infotainment system. Both cars are long-lasting, and have excellent passenger room. Choosing between the two comes down to personal preference.

Great car, all around beast.
This is very reliable car, as I have never had any issues. I except every time I turn my car key for the car to starts unit does just that. Just like any other Toyota, it is very good on gas and has lots of trunk space to carry any every day belonging and is great for traveling a great distance. I would one hundred percent recommend this car to a family member or friend. This car has saved me plenty of money on gas as I am currently getting around 20 miles per gallon in the city and about thirty miles per gallon on the highway. Overall, this is a great car all around and I have no issues with it!

My front bumper always comes out of place. If I park too close to a parking curb it'll pull my bumper. I've seen it on other cars like mine to where the bumper is flapping off. Also, my touch screen gave out on the bottom left side. I saw on youtube that is also common with this car.

It is great on gas, does not have too many mechanical problems, and it is spacious enough to fit my family. I like my 2014 Toyota Camry se. I think the electronics for the car are a little old school and it should have newer stuff in it considering the year of the vehicle. Compared to other vehicles the Camry does not have e anything cool or new equipped with it. That is why I refer to it as old school.

Toyota made this vehicle a real pleasure to drive. That was very important to me as I do a lot of cross country driving. Toyota or not Toyota, this is no longer a question!
At first, everything was great. I have always driven Toyota so, I expected the car to be a daily comfort of none once I got used to it. Then little things started going wrong, small electrical things like the license plate lights went out, then the blinkers on the side view mirrors, then the outlet for my car charger stopped working. Even though my warranty covered the repairs, I was unable to get into the mechanic for a few weeks because of scheduling conflicts period by the time I got in there I had forgotten a few of the things that gone wrong with it so I didn't tell them right away which caused a delay in getting my car back. After I have got it back from the shop little things started happening again only this time it had to do with the engine. First the alternator went out, then I needed a new radiator. All of this, again, was covered by warranty, but in order to get the work done I had to get a rental, and pay for it or of my own pocket until I could get reimbursed for it. All in all, after driving the car for 9 months, I am definitely am ready to upgrade.

Great, reliable family car.
When we first inherited the car, we had a problem with the touch screen interface. The problem we had was that the 'button' that we touched was not at the right 'place', if that makes any sense. The car has been more reliable than our other vehicle, and it is also the most comfortable as both the ac and heater works. The model that we inherited does not come with a seat warmer. Also love that we can use the easy click for our car seat. So we much easier than having to use the seat belt method.

This is a great car with best mileage without going hybrid or electric. The seats and drive is very comfortable and priced very competitively also. There are lots of options for all types of people who enjoy cars and driving and I can easily recommend this sedan over any other similarly priced car.

Reliability, affordability and comfort.
My 2014 Toyota Camry is very economical on gas and has a very smooth comfortable ride. Reliability has never been an issue, just regular maintenance. My only complaint is that my touch screen has lost it is sensitivity and needs to be recalibrated. Overall I am extremely satisfied with my Camry and will purchase a newer model in the future.

Why to buy a Toyota Camry 2014.
I love my Toyota Camry, I have been using it since 2016 up to now and I really haven't had any problems with it. One of my favorite thing about my Toyota Camry is the mileage, plus it is has good fuel economy, an excellent reliability rating, and spacious seating. The Toyota Camry is also a great midsize car for families.

I also enjoy the way it drives so smooth. It's a good car.
The cars body is very sleek and modern looking. The car drives smooth and has so many safety features. Great car for kids plenty of room. The car also offers Bluetooth connection. Very reliable car never broke down has low miles and a beautiful color dark blue/navy.

The comfortable and reliable Toyota Camry.
No problems, performance is the best for a street legal car, completely reliable and never lets me down and the seats are always comfortable to a point that I could fall asleep in them but the seat belts get stuck constantly. Overall this is the best car that has ever been in my possession.

It's very dependable and a great car!
Basic black camry, has a few scratches and has worked great so far. Had some issues with flat tires. Look forward to having it for a very long time.
