2018 Toyota Camry Owner Reviews & Problems
Reviews For Toyota Camry
Toyota provides dependable vehicles.
Toyota builds dependable cars, and the Toyota Camry is a joy to own because it is dependable. A driver rarely worries that the Toyota will fail to start or break down once on the road. The manufacturers provide roadside assistance as part of the deal, and a driver can contact the organization for assistance when necessary. However, as mentioned before, the car is so dependable this assistance is rarely required. The Toyota brand usually provides a comprehensive warranty that cover service and maintenance for an extended period of time or use. One of the most attractive features of this model is the visibility that is built into the design which makes the car one of the safest on the road. The design provides for exceptional visibility when changing lanes, making turns, and backing up. This model comes equipped with a backup camera which greatly reduces the chances that a driver will hit something or someone when going in reverse. For a medium sized car, the interior is quite spacious for the driver and passengers in both the front and back seat. Passengers should have plenty of legroom in the back seat. Interior design is carefully crafted, so the driver and passengers should enjoy short drives or extended road trips.
I really love that the car is really smart with all it is features.
The Camry, is probably one of the best cars I have driven. It is really smooth, and the acceleration is really amazing. The colors inside the car are beautiful, the model and how the car is made is also very beautiful. I really love how on the back of the vehicle it says Camry in big letters! The features on the car are amazing, I have a lot of options, in the settings. I like how it has the lane control thing, where when you are accidentally crossing into another lane the car automatically moves itself back, or when you get too close to a car while going at a fast speed it will tell you to brake, but if you do not break on time it will brake for you. It will tell you when you need to see a car shop and the tire pressure, most of the time it will tell you if something is wrong with your car.
2018 Toyota Camry Regresses from Previous Models
Engine is too powerful for this small car, so stepping on the gas results in a delay of forward motion and then shooting forward quickly. Road noise is loud enough that the radio has to be turned up, especially in rainy weather. Vehicle sits very low to the ground, making it difficult to get in and out if you're taller than 5'. Interior is designed for smaller people. Leg room has shrunk from previous Camry model (2015 is the comparison model) and distance from front seats to back seats has also shrunk. Steering wheel controls (phone, radio, etc.) are in awkward positions and not amenable to regular use. Car exterior style is great, but definitely made for someone looking for an edgier look. While I typically love the Toyota Camry, this model (2018) missed the mark for families.
Great Car, great safety features standard, but one HUGE flaw.
This is a great car, the HP on the 4 cylinder model is higher than the 6 cylinder model it replaced. I love the safety feature, like lane guidance and collision avoidance, and the cameras around the vehicle. But the thing I HATE about the car is the entune system. There is no onboard GPS available unless you get the LOADED 6 cyl version (at a cost of 8K), So with any trim level under that, you must use your cell phone, with an app called Scout GPS, and Entune. Both apps must be running, and the phone must be physically connected to the car with a USB cord. Problem is, the system is so buggy it has NEVER worked reliably. So now it's just easier to use WAZE on the phone and mount it somewhere in the car, but I'd much rather have the big screen on the console handle that...
It drives fantastic on the highway, and has great features.
My 2018 Toyota Camry is an amazing vehicle. Performance wise I would say the only small critique is slamming on the breaks in the pouring rain can sometimes be sketchy, but that is only when speeding. Other than that, it drives fantastic on the highway. It accelerates very well and shifts lanes great as well. I have had the 2018 Toyota Camry since march and didn't run into any issue with the engine, lights, gas, etc.. Once. The features to the car are great as well. The touch screen system is great. It coordinates very well with my apple iPhone and the phone can speak through the car. I am able to speak through the vehicle when someone calls me so I do not have to mess with my phone which is great while I am driving. The sound system is great as well.
With textures and finishes that you will love, the interior of the Camry adapts to your needs and exceeds your expectations.
With textures and finishes that you will love, the interior of the Camry adapts to your needs and exceeds your expectations. Not only does it meticulously match colors and materials - such as the vibrant look and feel of the available Cockpit Red color leather upholstered interior - it also allows you to enjoy much more of a rich day thanks to the panoramic glass roof available from the Camry XSE with power sliding roof / front tilt, which lets in more than twice as much light as the conventional sliding roof. In addition, you keep in control of everything when it starts to get hot thanks to the retractable electric sunshade. Climb up and see for yourself how this practical and refined cabin pays unprecedented attention to every detail.
2018 Toyota Camry SE - My new favorite car!
I've been extremely impressed with my 2018 Camry so far! I have the SE version with the optional leather seats and sunroof, and I can say that both of these additions are well worth it! I've been driving it for 2 months now and am still very impressed by how spacious and comfortable it is. The paddle shifters also make for a fun little addition and can make city driving a little more engaging. My only complaint is that the lock/ unlock range with the key fob is surprisingly low, so if you forget to lock your car you might have to walk back to it to be sure that it's actually been locked. Overall, I'd definitely recommend this car to anyone, the second I drove it I was sold, and I haven't looked back since!
2018 Toyota Camry, real family safety features.
In April 2018 I bought a bright blue 2018 Toyota Camry from Toyota of Knoxville. It has steering assistance, so if you have to let go of the wheel to grab something that fell or talk to someone in the back seat it will not only alert you to the line getting closer but it will also gently guide you back to the center of the lane. It also has a break setting so if someone slams on their breaks in front of you or cuts you off unexpectedly and you happen to be looking at the traffic light a bit ahead or if they have a brake light out on the side you pay attention to it lets you know that you have to break by setting off a loud alarm and flashing a message on the dash.
My 2018 Camry has the hands free phone.
I love my 2018 Toyota Camry it has all the bells and whistles we wanted. We've purchased Toyota's for over 40 years because of their dependability and looks, good gas mileage, little to no repairs. The price is sometimes a little more than you would expect but well worth it for having the confidence that this automobile will last far longer than most other brands on the highway. One of the favorite Toyota's we purchased was the Toyota Celica, which I drove all the time, it was sporty, had excellent pick-up and good gas mileage, and was easy to find parking spots for it because of it is smaller size compared to most cars on the road.
Looks are what you are after, you'll find the Camry.
It is a wonderful and nice car. More muscular engines, toned chassis, extroverted styling. For all the emphasis on getting in touch with its wild side, no Camry redesign could completely neglect the model’s traditional virtues. Thus, the 2018 version sees a major improvement in fuel economy. The four-cylinder enjoys a 5-mpg jump in its pea combined rating—and 7 mpg in the base l edition. Pea ratings are 28 mpg city and 39 highway, with the l tacking on 1 mpg city and 2 on the highway. The v-6 manages a 2-mpg increase in its combined figure, with pea ratings of 22 mpg city and 32 highway for the xse and 22/33 for the xle.
