Despite the high mileage there have been no major repairs needed until recently.
A very reliable car that has required very few repairs. It is sporty looking, efficient on gas, and has all the standard options. Unfortunately it is over 18 years old with very high mileage and needs a paint job.

Toyota review including performance and mpg.
The car has a few problem with oil leaks. Also, the door is way too close to the seat. That could've been done better. Other than that it's a pretty great car. It has pretty good mpg, about 28-30 mpg. It is acceleration is phenomenal for such a small car. Spec wise it has 180 hp since its a celica gts. The turns on it are also pretty great. Overall it's a great comfortable care. As stated before the only issues with it are leaking problems and how close the doors are to the seats.

It gets almost 50 mpg with no loss of power.
I like the reliability, gas mileage and quietness. I like the body style. I like the amount of storage.

If it idles too long, the car will start making a weird noise.
I really love the sunroof and how smooth it is. I dislike that the car sometimes lets water in when it rains really hard.

My Celica looks like a cheap Ferrari.
Vehicle is great on gas and small enough to fit in compact spaces. Engine runs great no major problems!

It is a sporty looking vehicle.
No major problems as it is the GTS version. The GT version is known to have oil burning issues. Performance is great though I wish there was more lower band torque. Reliability is stellar

After my friend replaced the transmission for me, its reliable comfortable and the AC blow cold and hot in the winter. The car has over 300 thousand miles and still going strong. Smooth, Sleek, and Spacey
This car is about to hit 200,000 miles and I haven't had a problem with it! Reasonably fast and very smooth to drive. I love the moon door and the sleek look of the car. All in all a very good vehicle. I wish they still made them. The wheel can be a bit squirrely when you hit bumps and such but the shocks are good. Very spacey as well.

I put a aftermarket exhaust on the car so it is loud along with 5% tints all around and Enkei wheels
In my 2000 toyota celica gts, my check engine light has always been on. Besides the check engine light my right steer tire has a leak since it is a after market

Will last a very long time if you do basic and routine maintenance.
It has been very reliable and I've only had to do very minor repairs. It looks nice and sporty. It gets good gas mileage, however, I don't like that it requires premium gas.

My 2000 Toyota Celica is still going strong!
Sporty looking. Reliable in inclement weather. I have not had any mechanical problems with my Toyota Celica except to replace a battery. I recommend the upkeep with oil changes which prevents most mechanical problems. The interior has plenty of room. The features even the my Celica is 18 years old, are still in great condition. I have no thoughts of buying / leasing in the near future.

My Little Cherry Red Celica
The Toyota Celica is so reliable and doesn't give me as much problems as the other vehicles that I've owned in the past. It's good in size. That's if you're into small cars. It's very unique as well. I like how you reverse by putting it first gear. I love it!

Celica: the little engine that could.
I own a 2000 Toyota Celica gt. I bought it in April from an individual in craigslist. As a daily driver, it is incredibly fun to drive! It is an older car, so you'll have to make sure that the engine is in pristine condition. The only problem that I can think of is that it drinks oil like a madman.

Small, compact and very reliable.
It's a nice small car that's very gas efficient. I've had the car for 5 years and still haven't had any issues with it. Only thing I dislike about is the rear spoiler can sometimes make backing up or looking in the rear difficult.

Small sports car that's great for gas mileage.
I adore my Celica. I like that it's a small car so therefore it's really good on gas.I do not have many complaints about my car except that the car is very low to the ground and I wish the back seats were not bucket seats. Maintenance is also very easy with this car. Take care of your car and your car will take care of you.

My Toyota Celica is one of those rare old cars you can't find anymore but that pretty rad to drive.
What i like about my toyota celica is its reliable. The fuel is affordable because its an efficiency car so that's an a plus. What i dislike is the interior it's just hard plastic wish it was more roomy but hey its a sports coupe gotta trade the comfort for style.

Toyota ‘s make excellent cars.
This is a great vehicle. It has 150000 miles on it and it is still going strong. The leather seats look a little worn but other than that the car is in great shape. Everyone knows that Toyota makes a good car and that is true. The trunk is spacious and the back seat is comfortable.

Sturdy and reliable vehicle that suits my personality and my commuting needs in Los Angeles (15-45 mins at a time). I love the sporty and compact style.
I bought this vehicle used, but it has held up quite well despite already having several thousand miles on it and some components weren't working when received - such as the A/C and interior cab light. I also find it odd that the O/D indicator turns on and reads "O/D OFF," which seems a bit backwards.

Reliable to take you anywhere in a jiffy
Depending on the person this car couple be too small. It's a sports car so it's designed with only two doors. Downside to it is that it is only front wheel drive which is at least good to drive in the snow. Car is super low so you may have to be careful for curbs and bumps. What's great about the car is the engine, speed, and leather seats.

It has a very heavy clutch so if you are not careful, you'll kill it often.
I like that it is a stick shift as it is my first manual car and it is super fun to drive. Another thing I love about my car is that it is very reliable. Every once in a while something goes wrong but it is usually a really easy fix. However, I do not like that it burns oil very quickly so I have to fill it more often than usual.

Wishing for changeable fuel filter.
Car has not ever had major issues. Although engine burns oil with higher mileage. The only fuel filter in on the fuel pump. It would be great if it had an on line one so it could be changed easily. With lower miles car has great performance though, a little tlc is required with higher mileage.
