likeFilled The Good
The Toyota Corolla is a very efficient compact sedan. It’s long-lasting, living up to Toyota’s legendary reliability. Above-average safety ratings in its class also make it a simple choice.
dislikeFilled The Bad
It is lacking some of the latest technology. Owners complain about performance, saying it’s slow to drive. Interior quality on the base model feels cheap and uninspiring.
checkCircleAlternativeBold The Bottom Line
Scoring near the middle of its class, the Corolla is a reliable and capable car. A great choice if you want reliability with no frills or thrills.

2015 Toyota Corolla: Quick Overview

  • The 2015 Corolla is one of the longest-lasting cars on the road with an above-average reliability rating. You can find a used one for from $11,400 to $14,951. The S model is the most desirable for its sportier styling.
  • The Corolla has two different engine choices based on the same engine block. The Eco engine has a newer valve system, making it more efficient.
  • Near the top of its class for fuel efficiency, the Corolla is a great commuter. Most owners and critics report the car is dull to drive, but reliability more than makes up for this.
  • For 2015, Toyota offered ten different versions of the Corolla that fell into four primary models. The Corolla is a safe compact sedan, earning a five-star crash test rating from the NHTSA.
  • The Corolla falls near the middle of its class when compared to compact cars. It does everything well, but in a boring and practical manner. Built for the average person looking for a daily driver that does not want a lot of fuss it fits the bill perfectly.

Would not trade it for the world; I absolutely love it!!
Reliability of this vehicle is phenomenal; I save so much on gas and can get me from point a to b with no issues. My corolla is super comfortable and has enough space for any trip; camera is super beneficial. Can save you a lot of money completely as a first car.

My Corolla is: Excellent on gas, Reliable, and fun to drive.
One of the best features of my Toyota Corolla, is the gas mileage. It averages about 30 - 35 miles per gallon. I enjoy the size of the vehicle as well. It is about the size of a small sports car but is big enough to fit 4 people comfortably. Maintenance on my Toyota just consists of the basics. Changing the oil and rotating the tires. It handles smoothly on the freeway and around town. The new Corollas even seem to look a little sporty, such as my 2015. Very nice design doesn't look like a car that gets excellent gas mileage. It is one of the most reliable cars I have ever owned and very low maintenance. I drive about 14 miles a day to work and 80 miles a week to guitar class. So I put about 150 - 180 miles a week on my Corolla. I can't imagine driving any other car to accomplish this. I also enjoy the Bluetooth capabilities as well. I use the Pandora app on my phone and it runs through my car stereo system, Very nice!!.

It is definitely a dependable car.
I love my Corolla. It is been very dependable for me to take me where I need to go. It is small which is perfect for a small family like I have. It is great on gas as well. So far as it needs work it is not extremely expensive, so that is another plus.

Simple, elegant, and far above average.
This car has not given me any problems and has performed above average. One of the things I love most about it is the headlights. The dims are brighter and most brights and they shine incredibly far. I also chose this car because of it is comfort. The seats are perfect. I also like the simplicity and elegance of the dash and the features it has, like the touchscreen.

2015 Toyota corolla low mileage very reliable car.
Automatic, low miles, 4 door, very roomy, Bluetooth compatible. The car does good on gas and is very reliable. The air and heat works great even in the desert heat. I have had no problems with the vehicle only paid for regular maintenance. I would definitely buy another Toyota.

I love my Toyota corolla. It's been the best car I have ever had. It actually has no problems and it's amazing on gas. One of the best cars I have ever purchased and will purchase another soon. I only put gas in my car twice a week and I go back and forth to work that is it.

Modern sports car for everyone to use.
It runs smooth. Has a sports option that I love. Gas friendly. I spend about 25-30 and it lasts me a week. The car is very spacious for people in the front and back. The trunk has a lot of room as well. Bluetooth compatible and touch screen available.

Failing Brakes
Beware of the new Toyota Corollas. I bought a new 2015 Corolla LE and I observed the brake pedals have started losing pressure at 10K miles. The Toyota Service Dept. Advised front brake rotor and pad replacement at 37K miles which was done. The brake problem persisted, and Toyota again adjusted the rear brakes at 42K miles, still the brake problem did not go away. Sometimes the brake pedal goes down to the floor, and the car still creeps forward. Sometimes it returns to normal. At only 43,000 miles, I feel unsafe driving the car with problematic brakes.

Noise machine with wonky features.
The loudest car I have ever driven. Every piece of gravel that you drive over rattles the car and the outside noise makes it impossible to hear people sitting right next to you. The Bluetooth phone connection is worthless. You cannot hear anyone on the phone and they cannot hear you. Thea seats are uncomfortable and stain easily. I am still trying to figure out why the sound system does not scan correctly.

Your corolla and you, a buyers guide.
I would just rather have a truck, it is emasculating to drive a corolla. It gets good gas mileage. It has no power. I wish I had GPS in the dashboard. But it is easy to park, I like the backup camera. I wish the headlights turned on and off automatically.
accountCircle Joyce T
It is dependable and looks sporty. The headlights are great just not automatic.
The Corolla looks good and is very dependable. It has no frills. No automatic seats or no hookup for Sirius radio. It is too low to the ground. I prefer an SUV. But it drives well and has great mileage.

An interesting detail is the exterior color and the gas mileage it gets.
Driving on freeway, too much wind noise heard, even with radio on. The car is too low, the front or rear end scrapes when going into some paved areas. Parts comes off easily in the interior of the car. I notice a lot of rusty areas of the interior metal when the seats slides. There's even rust in my trunk. Unable to find how the rusting occurred. I love the features of lights coming on to notify me of what's going on with the car. I get food gas mileage. Dislike the headlights fogging up so much and having to change or try to clean them.

Interiors
2015 Toyota Corolla, good reliable vehicle, no problems or issues at all but it has the worst seating and anterior designs you ask for . Low front window height makes it hard to see around , the seats poorly designed causes lower back problems when you do long drive ,cheap plastic nobs and controls . The interiors needs complete re design to reflect the mechanical quality this car has
accountCircle Anthony O
It is a nice color, the brake pads are good.
The alignment is messed up, and my rims on 2 sides are messed up, and I think the ac is working poorly because it gets hot very fast. I need to fix the ads system and alignment. Also get stain remover for the seats. I would also like to get new rims, better ones more importantly.

My car has great ventilation.
It's a good vehicle, but cars are overpriced pieces of metal. They loose disproportionate amounts of value at specific times in their life. Also, fuel efficiency could be soooo much better.

2015 Toyota Corolla le eco plus.
I have eco le plus vehicle, and it runs like a dream. I love that it "knows" when to kick into eco mode as I have a bit of a lead foot and it helps me to save on my hour long commute into work. The Bluetooth connection helps me to keep hands free in a busy world, and to keep my eyes on the road ahead of me. There have been little to no mechanical issues presented with the vehicle and the ride is smooth overall. One of the main things that I enjoy the most about the vehicle is the dependability that Toyota offers, both with it is warranty for life, and seeing all of the other Toyota's on the road ahead of me. If I had to complain about anything with the vehicle it would be the controls that the vehicle has within it, such as the lane assist, which will pull the vehicle back into the current lane that it is in as a safety precaution. I understand and support the need for this safety feature but it can be frustrating when trying to merge, or when attempting to avoid something in the road. Another safety feature that took me by surprise was the blind-spot assist, which beeps when attempting to merge and tells you that there is a car in the way. That feature can be turned off, however.

2015 Toyota Corolla S Review.
The eleventh generation Toyota Corolla in my opinion makes a great economy car. It's a Toyota so it's pretty much bullet proof. The CVT transmission in some of the cars is reliable and works just fine but you will not get going quickly, if possible go for the four speed auto or the manual. The interior is pretty good for the price point the bucket seats have good bolstering and keep you pretty well in place and the upholstery holds up well as my car is four years old and driven daily and the interior is holding up very well. There aren't many features in the car, you get a A/C and heat, CD, AM and FM radio, and Bluetooth and that's about it.

My vehicle has a black interior and has nice blue highlights in it.
I drive a 2015 Toyota Corolla sport. It is a 4 door. It is the perfect car for a teenager. The mileage is decent, it is a decent size, and the trunk is surprisingly spacious. It is a very reliable car. It is safe and there are airbags all over the car. There is cruise control, a CD player, Bluetooth connect, traction control, sport mode, and you can even switch it into manual. It is a very low maintenance car. It is a great little car, I just wish that it had more features. It does not have a GPS, which is personally a must for me. I also wish it had heated seats in the front, but that is just a preference.

I have a black Toyota Corolla with burnt orange interior seats. The seats are my favorite feature. I have had no problems. I love the dash and even the back seat is comfortable with long rides. The Toyota goes well in the rain. The calling or phone system does well. The contact I am calling are always able to hear me well. I have had 3 kids back there from ages 4-9 and they got comfortably but if you have more kids that need to be in car seats it may be a tight squeeze.

My shiny slate corolla carries me across the country with ease.
My corolla is reliable. I rarely have issues with my car. Only small issues that I run into would be air in tires getting low every few months. Other than that it runs smooth and acceleration is great. The trunk has a lot of room and the seats are so comfortable. I wish there were more cup holders in the back.

Totally recommending this car!
This is a great, reliable and safe car! Performance is a 10! I rate the comfort a 10 as well as the features. This is a great and roomy vehicle and it is great on gas. I would definitely recommend this car for first time drivers or families. I have not had any problems so far.

Toyota corolla review used!
My vehicle is very reliable! Great gas saver and also the parts are very cheap in case they need to be replaced! Seating is very comfortable and the navigation is on point. Very reliable, honestly haven't had any problems with it in the 5 years that I have had it. Definitely recommend it to someone considering to buy a cheap car.

Love my car. It is roomy and clean and runs very well.
My car is awesome. I have never had any issues with it except the normal like flat tire. I do upkeep it well though and I always make sure to take it for regular maintenance.Ie oil change..Tires rotated... I have very little miles on it and I am sure it will last me another five years. The inside is roomy enough for me and both my children.

Very reliable, long lasting sedan.
It has been very reliable. I have kept up normal maintenance and have not had any major issues that have needed to be fixed yet. I trust that this car will last me several more years without major issues. The only issue has been recalls that have come out.

A car for the masses, escape capitalism.
Its great, shudders a lot on the highway though. The rear wheel sometimes slips off the bed but the mechanic said that might be due to driver habits. The value is high however, you get a lot of what you pay for with Toyota. I really like the back up camera it is my favorite aspect.
accountCircle scott L on May 30, 2021
Touch screen radio and reliable.
Very easy handling. Comfortable seats and touch screen radio. Lots of legroom I am pretty tall. Very easy to get oil changed and tires are not expensive. The car is the 5 years that I have had it has never broke down on me knock on wood. The one thing I don't like is the seat material any water on them stains them.

Great reliable cars that will last.
Toyota cars are reliable and last a long time. My engine is beginning to jerk or take a prolonged time to speed up while going uphill. My car has very limited features but it is all I require especially the Bluetooth connection. The newer Toyota cars (including mine) have a lot of space especially in the trunk.

Dark blue Toyota corolla le comfortable to invite people to roadtrips.
I love my vehicle because I save a lot of gas money. Since it is not huge I can drive and park quick and easy. It is a very reliable car to have and since I bought I have not had any mechanical issues. The features it offers are same like every other car. Backup camera is my favorite and the touch screen to switch music stations and answer phone calls.

Extremely comfortable and very reliable.
The car has been great. Unfortunately no keyless entry so the locks can get stuck with continued use. Very comfortable, and good for long road trips. Very reliable with no performance issues. Smooth and quiet ride. Unfortunately, the glove box handle broke after normal use, and the entire unit would have to be replaced.

Comfortable and smooth ride. Great on gas. No problems so far. Has been used for long or short road trips and is comfortable and quiet. Sleek looking car with nice amenities. Temperature control system and light dimming capabilities. Overall a very great car, I would recommend.

Corolla convenience summary.
The car has great gas mileage for both in city and highway use. Affordable pricing and convenient for distance trips. Had plenty of space for driver and passengers. Also has enough space in the trunk. Many cup holders along the car, great music system with a touch screen display.

Great with gas if you want to save yourself some money. Amazing.
The vehicle is great with gas, I drive everyday from home to work and back and my tank stays full for almost two days. Sometimes I do not have to fill it up until 2 weeks after I last put gas. Sadly, capacity is very reduced especially when you have a big family or a kid to be more specific.

Corolla. Overall good car.
Vehicles is great on gas. Is fair in the snow. A little light in weight so high winds can be an issue. Sound system is fair fairly roomy for a small car. Plenty of trunk space. It is black so scratches show. Has a CVT transmission which help with gas mileage.

Corolla: great commuter car.
Very comfortable and smooth to drive. Very good Bluetooth connection, easy to navigate the system. Great gas mileage and the vehicle has overall worn very well together. The fabric that the seats are made of does stain very easily. No air vents in the backseat.

My corolla has taking me on countless trips around the great state of Texas.
The Toyota corolla s is a great reliable car great on gas it is about a 330 miles for full tank. Spacious seating, digital radio, Bluetooth, hands-free communications system, and large trunk. Great family vehicle and did I mention great on gas! After a few years may need to change o2 sensors and spark plugs.

Small package, decent value.
Very fuel efficient ~40 mpg; small and responsive, sluggish on the acceleration. Small interior space but ample leg room. Trunk is surprising spacious for large loads. Headlights are super bright led. Tires are small and inexpensive. The car is known for being reliable and long lasting.

I did a fair amount of research prior to buying my corolla and am absolutely pleased with my choice. It is comfortable, reliable, and offers good vehicle options, while being an affordable choice. The gas mileage is great, and I appreciate the safety features as well as the on-screen options for entertainment and vehicle information.

I personally find that my 2015 Toyota corolla is a very good and reliable car! It has a sleek, compact design but has lots of room and is very comfortable on the inside. The gas mileage is great. I literally have no complaints with the car. It runs smooth and is low maintenance, all while looking great.

Toyota corolla review. Great economy vehicle with backup mirror.
I love the gas mileage that I get with my Toyota corolla. I like the backup camera for parking assistance. My Toyota corolla is large enough to be comfortable, but small enough to park easily. I have not had to have any maintenance other than standard upkeep and new tires with my Toyota corolla.

Very durable and reliable.
My corolla is very reliable! I have owned it for several years and have never had a single problem with it, apart from the original stereo touchscreen calibration being off. That being said, that is a fairly cosmetic issue. It drives great on the highway, too.

Toyota corolla le: not a luxury vehicle, but a reliable, safe one.
Toyotas are extremely reliable and will last forever. The only complaints are minor and do not impact my daily life- the air filter needs to be changed kind of frequently to smell 'fresh' and there is a panel that falls out underneath my passenger side glove compartment often. Other than that I love the car.
accountCircle Sarah N on May 1, 2021
My overall performance with my car is amazing.
My only problem with my car is that when driving the windshield gets foggy easily so I have to be careful of the temperature in the car. My other problem would be the tire pressure of my car. Especially in the winter time my tires would turn flat. My car unfortunately does not tell which tire is the problem.

Very dependable for the price range.
My vehicle is very dependable. I have had it for about 5 years and have had no issues with it. The comfort of the seats is a little rough and uncomfortable and hurts my back a bit. It also rides a bit rough and you can feel every bump. However as far as gas mileage and the dependability of the car go, it is great.

Toyota corolla is the best car for your budget!
I have had no real mechanical issues with my car, which I am very pleased with. Besides regular maintenance, I have not had to pay much else. The corolla drives comfortably, gas mileage is fantastic, and I enjoy the Bluetooth technology in the vehicle. And for the price I paid, it was a bang for my buck.

Touchscreen defect issue for 2014-2016 Toyota corolla le.
The performance of the car is awesome, the comfort level is just perfect, there is plenty of trunk space and leg space in the back seat and in the driver passenger seat, also I love how fuel efficient the car is, I drove to Chicago Illinois from Kentucky on one tank of gas, I love the shape and design of the car makes it look more slick. There are some major problem with the car like the touchscreen, there is no way to calibrate the screen, not only that the airplay will not work, the calibration problem occurs after around 30-35 thousand miles and it occurs own its own, I talked to Toyota about it and they told I would have to replace the whole unit, even though it's a major defect in every 2014-2016 Toyota corolla le, the bottom half of the touchscreen is offset by 1-2 inches where it is impossible to add a new device for Bluetooth or to remove one. There new update they have at the dealership does not fix this problem, I wasted $80.00 on that update hoping that would have fixed it.

2015 Toyota corolla and it is used and white. It has a few chips in the paint.
The maintenance on it is very good and the reliability is amazing. I haven't had any issues beyond the battery going out on me. The one major problem I have right now is that the touch screen at the bottom seems to stop working every so often. It might be due to heat but I had the car for 5 years and only recently it has started. Besides that, the vehicle has performed exactly as I wanted and I feel that it will be reliable for many year. I am hoping to get another 10 years out of it if my work does not force me to upgrade to a more recent year of car.

Toyota's last long and they are very great cars!
It has a giant dent on the side, tires need to be replaced soon, and I recently had to replace vehicle battery. However, the car itself has lasted through much of what it has gone through. Has a lot of mileage but runs pretty dang well. Not the first Toyota my family has had. They last so long. The last one is still running, but we gave it to another family member.

I love my Toyota corolla. It is sport mode is very good for going up big hills or passing by slower drivers. However, the calibration on my touchscreen is a little off, so I am not able to connect my new phone that I got a month ago. Nothing interesting. Basic but reliable car.
This car is basic with no bells or whistles. Basic stand features but would love is the back up camera also featured a sensory. It is reliable and has not had any major issues. Some small annoyances with noises that the dealership has not been able to diagnose. Biggest issue is with our dealership not following through on installation package paid for at time of purchase.

Toyota corolla what you should know.
Drives nice. The driver seat slowly lowers between drives. The heater starts rather quickly but does not get as hot as some vehicles that I have been in. The trunk has a lot of space but the arms of the trunk lid tends to hit anything that is packed to the roof of the trunk near the sides.
