It’s missing the latest infotainment technology, doesn’t have safety features found on competitors, and feels underpowered at highway speeds.

The Toyota Corolla is a very reliable vehicle.
The main problem I have with this car and most Toyota cars is that there is no a separation for the back seat which in Miami is a problem since its so hot. Performance is much better since my last maintenance since they ungraded my transmission sensor. It's not too big and fits car seat in safely. Power windows locks brakes only thing missing is the auto headlights and power adjusting seats.

2016 Toyota Corolla: technological and comfortable
The 2016 Corolla has many helpful features such as a backup camera, voice commands, and controls on the steering wheel, but it does not feel too overwhelming to use these features.
accountCircle Ann W
Its comfortable, decent gas mileage, reliable, sturdy, four door, Bluetooth compatible, touch screen etc. Only two things i complain about is the noise the windshield wipers make (they squeak) and the lack of a back windshield wiper.
It is reliable brand and gets me to where I need to go. I feel safe, and when something goes wrong it's not too terribly expensive to fix it.

The Corolla is one of the best SEDANS!
The Corolla is big size, Interior room rivals some mid size sedans with a roomy rear seat. Ride comfort is commendable and handling is responsive. Corolla is one of the best sedans!

It has very updated safety features and a great care plan.
My vehicle has extra features that I enjoy such a fog lights, sunroof, and upgraded tires. It has a smooth ride and great safety features. I was in a small accident and was very safe in the car. It has a very modern feel to it.

Great car, easy maintenance, and sporty look.
The car drives very smoothly and maintenance is easy to keep up with. Haven’t had any problems since purchasing it and have kept up with regular maintenance like tires, oil, etc. Car is very affordable yet still has a sleek sporty look to it. Can switch between manual or automatic with the paddle shifters which is a very nice touch.

Boring, plain and please don't get sucked in by the lower lease price.
Plain, boring not worth the price. Good gas mileage. I had to settle for this car because I lease and can't change make without paying a large fee. I can only lease Toyota and they don't have lease priced vehicles that I like and can afford. No one works with the senior community and their fixed income that is usually low. I really dislike this car.

That is has more back seat leg room than a lot of cars.
I have always trusted that Toyota makes good vehicle. They are dependable, smart looking and affordable.

2016 corolla l is a decent car for a young teen/college student.
The gas mileage is great, it is reliable. There is no backup camera like the le model, but there is a touch screen radio. Toyota is a lasting brand car no matter which model you get. I wish that there were more safety features like with the other models. The Bluetooth feature is nice and convenient.

It is cheap but you get what you pay for the parts are cheap too.
The car is too slow. Tires are terrible they wear out so fast. The car is also not good in the snow it goes all over the road. The check maintenance light goes on for no reason all the time out of nowhere. The breaks wear out quickly. The touch screen freezes.

The Corolla is perfect for my wife who is 4' 11" but it is worthless when you need to transport anything .
The Corolla is a very small car. It is way to small for me. I need something like a 4Runner with a lot more room.

They are not even worthy of one star . An absolute horrific car
I have a 2016 Corolla s, that is the biggest piece of garbage I have ever had in my life. The front end feels like it's going to fall off at 5000 miles now the car has 18,000 and it's completely scary to drive. Toyota will do nothing about it they are the most horrific manufacturer out there do not buy any of their products even their Lexus line it is all garbage overpriced garbage that they do not stand behind.worst manufacturing you could ever deal with all they care about is profit. Here I am a customer that bought numerous Toyota over the years and they could care less about me. I wish I had the money to move on and buy something different, but unfortunately I am not able to. Word of advice to all customers watch out for these thieves an snakes their dealerships are as bad as they are absolutely horrific. I wish Donald Trump would kick them out of this country. They have been making trillions of dollars over the years an they were a different company back then.Know all they are doing is screwing all the consumer in the United States over because they used to get away with murder now that they don't they take out their aggravation on the consumer. Typical Corporate America company screw the small people over. This company and its dealerships I absolutely horrific and deserve no stars whatsoever they sell a garbage product and could care less. I wish it was different circumstances where I could actually buy a different vehicle but I can't at the moment.I have all kinds of medical problems wrong with me that is the least of my problems when it comes to a vehicle. But I do not want to get taken advantage of that is the only reason I am posting this I do not want to see them take advantage of other people in my same situation or anybody it is not right. They are complete thief's liars an gangsters . That feed on the weak

The Toyota Corolla is junk!
It is a junk, toy car. You feel every bump. It is, ugly, it is very slow and unappealing. It is uncomfortable to sit in and very small.

What Problems Does the 2016 Toyota Corolla Have?

The 2016 Toyota Corolla has fewer problems than the 2015 model, but more than the 2017. Complaints are lower than other compact sedans. The 2016 Corolla problems encompass bad brakes, airbags that may fail to deploy, and random loss of steering control.

Brake problems, including grinding noises, are the most frequent complaints owners have with the Corolla. It’s commonly caused by excessive pad wear and if you have noisy brakes you may need to replace the pads.

Interior problems and rattling dashboards are also mentioned by owners. Noisy interior panels are typically caused by damaged clips or loose screws, making the parts rattle.

Steering problems, including drifting while driving, are rare issues. Usually, if the steering feels disconnected or very light, then it’s an alignment problem.

There is one recall affecting the 2016 Corolla, better than average for its age. It’s for the airbags and seat pretensioners, it’s a good idea to have it fixed for the safety of you and your passengers.

A bit small for me but GREAT like all Toyota’s
Like all of my Toyota vehicles the battery died soon after I got the car. That’s my only concern! Great gas mileage and great overall car. I would have loved a smaller Toyota but I needed somethingat least big enough to get my elderly Dad into. But I won’t have anything else but a Toyota!

This brand is not only reliable but offers a variety of safety features for kids.
Toyota cars in general are very reliable and dependable vehicles. I personally prefer a car that has four doors because I have kids. The corolla has amazing features for parents. It has the latch system and child safety locks to help keep curious children from opening the doors. The vehicle also has a lock button for windows on the driver side.

Love it but the ac/heat issues.
Everything is great, except for recently the ac/heat has been going in and out. Sometimes it will blow in the highest setting and feel like it is on the lowest. It takes about 10 minutes for it to actually come on and blow at the highest setting. Other than that, the car is perfect.

It gets good gas mileage, it is a smooth ride and very comfortable. I like that Toyota care lasts two years and I feel like they are well built. The only issue is that it does not drive well in the snow since it sits low to the ground. It is a very reliable car.

Gas efficient, smooth ride. Comfortable and reliable. Also Toyota’s last forever, my last Toyota had over 200, 000 miles. Also they never seem to rust out and are very peppy for 4 cylinders. Haven't had to do any maintenance but oil change and new tires and car already has 44, 000 miles. Great value for the price.

Corolla s plus, all the bells & whistles for a reasonable price.
The corolla s has sport mode which makes it easy to accelerate on the freeway. The trim is very stylish, and Toyota has put a great deal of research into remodeling & redesigning the corolla. Regular acceleration is modest, but this may help for lessening accidents. The alloy wheels are a really nice touch and help the paint pop, making it a showstopper compared to corollas in the past which were mainly seen as “commuter vehicles”.

Corolla s. - features and what it is missing.
I love my car, it gets almost 38 mpg. My corolla is very reliable, have never had issues with it. My car has leather seats, and a touch screen radio. Toyota corolla: a great beginners car.
I really love my Toyota corolla. It is just the right size for me and drives really smooth. It does really well around turns especially. It is about 4 years old and does not have any major issues. It get good gas mileage, which I can see on the driver screen behind my wheel. When my oil is newly changed I can drive about 425 miles on a full tank. For those of you who do not like an overly technological car, this car's technology is very easy to navigate. However it still has much of the fun features that new cars have. I have never had a problem with the reliability of this car. It is easy to maintain, even for someone who knows little about car maintenance. The interior is comfortable, but I would recommend getting seat cover for lighter colored seats.

The 2016 Toyota corolla that I own is the right size for me. Not too big or too small. It was a used car but everything looks brand new when I got it. The exterior has minimal scratches and the wheels were new. The interior is pretty spacious considering the size of the car. The seats are cloth material and color is light gray. Easy to drive, comfortable, good gas mileage, reliable, no issues. It is our main vehicle and is a great commuter car. We are also currently driving around all over the country for my husband's internships for school and the only 'issue' we've had was needing to buy it new tires! Everything else is routine maintenance because we want it to last a long time!

The car is good to have it, save you money.
The car was not strong power for me, but it was nice and chip to save the money. I like it because you do not need spend too much money on it and easy to take care of it. But the car space is too small for the people that need a lot of space. Overall the car is good and good to have.

Sleek smooth and sustainable.
I love my Toyota, it drives lovely, it has an amazing sound system. It also has Bluetooth features which I love. I also love the design of the car it looks very sleek. Another one of my favorite features is that the back seats can go down which gives me a lot of space for in the trunk. Another thing is it is super duper good on gas, I feel like I can drive for a week at least without having to refill but sometimes two weeks.

Toyota corolla the new Mercedes.
The 2016 Toyota corolla s is very reliable. I average 30-38 miles per gallon on fuel efficient mode. The corolla features all leather seats, tinting, and a sunroof. The car has a classy interior and features a backup camera as well has heated seats. Would highly recommend.

Just snazzy enough: 16 corolla.
It is pretty, comfortable, and drives well. The CVT transmission shifts well and the cruise control is fluid. It has a nice amount of features, like cruise control and Bluetooth. The seats feel nice and are comfortable. I do wish the seat fabric wasn't light grey because it shows discoloration.

Corolla is a very reliable car!
The corolla is a really good car, very reliable. I drove more than 40k miles with it and zero problems. I think it is a little slow when you press the gas pedal, but I am ok with that, it does not bother me. It is very good burning gas, 31 miles per gallon. I think the seats is a bit small, could be a little more comfortable. It has back camera, automatic transmission and bluetooth. I am very happy with it.

Reliable and classic corolla.
This vehicle is worlds above my previous ford. It is reliable, comfortable, and cute. Plus it gets great gas mileage and will run for years. I'll be buying from Toyota for quite a while after this. There’s a reason they have had such a solid reputation.

10/10 recommend vehicle for couples looking to road-trip or have small families.
This vehicle drives extremely smooth. Nice full screen in the middle of the dashboard. Easy to navigate controls. Leather interior makes it extremely comfortable. Drives exceptional in snow conditions. Wide set, but blind spots are minimal. Highly recommend for a small family car.
