Good car want another one when I hit 500,000 KM
Just past 400,000 km 05 hatchback auto. Do alot of highway driving with a toolbox in the back so it's loaded by weight. Has never let me down only changed front wheel bearings right ball joint and brakes and routers 3 times all fairly easy fixes. Probably spent tops 1,000 in all repairs but for 400,000km I'm very happy. Also great on fuel and the get up and go when needing to pass on the highway.

It has good gas mileage, it is dependable.
I like the gas mileage. I like the size of the trunk. I like the interior. I dislike that i does not have an port for my ipod to listen to my music

Very reliable, economical, and affordable. I don't know why anyone would not want this car.
I bought my toyota echo in 2005. It was the best decision I ever made. It runs great, gets great gas mileage,40 mpg, has only had 1 major problem to fix. It was a water pump. Other than that, just oil changes, replace spark plugs every so often, and just regular maintenance. When, or should I say 'if' I have to get a new car, I'm buying a toyota

That even though is old but it has automatic windows
Like that is spacious and I dislike that the radio thing is old.

Haven't hit 100, 000 miles yet!
My car is older than most, I have had it for 15 years, and it has never let me sit. All I ask of my cars is to have a good radio and heater! It gets great mileage, around 30 miles per gallon. It is a small car and I am a small person, so perfect. I am a dinosaur when it comes to car and I love that my echo has crank windows and no fob to lock my car ( now if only they could bring the bench seat back!) I am sad to say that Toyota no longer makes the echo, but if you come across a used one, snap it up.

Great mileage and very dependable. I have had no problems over the past few years.
Very reliable. No problems in the past few years I've been driving. Great gas mileage. I do a lot of highway driving - just wish that it was a bit heavier. I feel the wind a lot on the highway. But other than that - I love my echo!

Fuel efficient and reliable
The Toyota Echo is fuel efficient and reliable. It just keeps running and running for years. On the downside you have to know how to drive a stick shift. The interior has plenty of room, even if you are a tall person . It's a little rough when driving on unpaved roads .

Toyota Echo a mediocre car
It's a decent car that gets me from a to b. It's not going to win any prizes for appearance or value but it is decent enough for a reliable car.

Air conditioned, 40 mile per gallon ECHO sedan for longer commutes to work.
Standard transmission is more economical and easy to use. Stick shift and clutch action are smooth.Small sedan for mileage conscious consumers. Maneuvers well when in tight parking spots. Nice pick up when entering freeways. Air conditioned; and cools very quickly. Heats nicely/engine warms quickly during cold Minnesota winters. Nice radio. Problems - Now has a fuel injection issue. Slight rust, but not embarrassing. Needs repair: Rear window defroster.

Echo sedan white Toyota compact car.
It is a real gas saver, it is just a little old now but drives will. Nice work car. Small for huge family though. It now has a little throbbing sounds when car slows down on gas petals. But it is still runs, well. Do not run hot at all which is good, buy it from a private owner. I would say it is an overall good car to commute back from work or school dependable and saves money. The style is just a little plain. But not ugly just regular. White small car.

Pros from Owners

likeFilled Marissa B.

There is great visibility. The windows are very wide, but also the structure is very heavy, so when in a collision, you will be protected. Another pro of the ECHO is that is a small and compact car. I can whip in and out of parking spots very easily.

Cons from Owners

dislikeFilled Marissa B.

The cons are rolling window, so you have to manually crank the windows up and down. There is also no center console to rest your elbow on while driving or to store objects. Also the speaker and stereo are small, and there is no option for an AUX cord to play your own music.
