Want the convenience of an SUV with the capability of a truck? Get a Toyota FJ Cruiser! I love my FJ!!
I LOVE my Toyota FJ Cruiser!! It's very versatile, it has all the features of an SUV but has all the capabilities of a truck! I've yet (knock on wood) to have ANY problem or even complaint about my FJ! It's comfortable on the inside and has features i love like 4 wheel drive, stock subwoofer built in the back, and that's only an example of the things i love about it! It's super convenient, has plenty trunk space and is literally my dream car! I couldn't be happier with it.

An interesting feature is the additional side visors that are included.
I purchased the vehicle with a little over 100,000 miles on it and it drives like a dream! I had to fix the suspension and recently got new tires, but I have had no other major issues with the vehicle. It is great on the highway and off-road. It is a little more of an aggressive drive, so if you are looking for quiet and smooth comfort, this may not be the vehicle for you. The parts are very reasonably priced and I enjoy the minimal features of this car. Not ideal if you have a family with kids who need car seats, as the rear doors are half doors and that makes it difficult to get children in and out. Great space though, if you are needing to haul a lot of items. It also is very easy to clean!

It's a family car that we specifically purchased for the safety of our family.
I have always wanted a tall, secure SUV because I hate driving in the snow. This car is perfect! It's built for rough terrain so it's very safe. I also love the look of it - it's sleek and sporty!

2010 fj cruiser is the best.
I haven't have any issues minus typical wear and tear. Pretty comfortable, I am short and I can still drive it and feel comfortable. The only slight issue is there are more blind spots than other cars, but I added a convex mirror and it did the trick. I wouldn't change much or anything about my vehicle.

Toyota fj cruiser details.
Everything is perfect. I have never had any problems with it. It is big enough to have 2 kids in the back with plenty of room left. It does feel like you are in a tank like car, so it might take some getting used to. It is a white 2010, but it seems brand new.

The Toyota fj cruiser is the ultimate all around vehicle!
I own a 2010 trail teams edition Toyota fj cruiser. 3 years of ownership and no issues. 150,000 miles. Put 20k since I have owned. Has a easy clean water resistant cloth seats, with vinyl floor board. Four wheel drive. I usually get about 18 mpg on highway mileage. It rides very smooth. Even smoother than my previous 2007 Toyota tundra. It is very comfortable on long trips, as well as going off road. It definitely holds it is on. I do not plan to ever sell it.

Unfortunately they do not make this model anymore.
Love it! Small to medium SUV. Easy handling. Great gas mileage for a truck. Pulls my trailer great. Seats 4 very well. Great for off road, beach and just about anywhere excursions.

Fj cruisers are like tanks.
The Toyota fj cruiser is an extremely reliable off roading and highway driving car. I just completed a 75 day 14,000 mile long road trip in the fj cruiser, it ran strong the entire time. It did not break down 1 time while on this odyssey of a road trip. The cons of the fj would be the terrible blind spots the cars design presents while changing lanes on the road and reversing out of parking spots. I also wish the seats were a bit more comfortable for long distance driving. This car is a tank, it is a must buy for the person looking for that rugged off-roading workhorse of a car.

My car does it all and then some.
My Toyota is what I would call an all rounder. It has decent performance and can uphold a steady rate of speed for a long time and it still looks nice after all it this time. The reclining chairs are top notch and can help someone to relax in the car in possible. While it is a bit basic compared a lot of other cars, it still helps to get the job done.

My little car. My vehicle has been pretty reliable(except right now).
Well, as we speak, our car is in the mechanic's being fixed. The breaks went, but it is the first major thing that has gone wrong with the car since we got it. It is extremely good on gas and feels safe, drives awesome. Over all, I cannot really complain about our little car!

Good car for a young single person not a family
Car has a great look and drives great. The inside is really roomy in the front but tight in the back. Inside is also kinda awkward

The FJ cruiser, The best SUV around.
I love this car , at 110.000 miles it runs like a brand new car. The only issue I have (not much of a issue at all) is the rear door and kids trying to get in / out. We have fun going up in the mountains and driving around the trails, it handles well.

Pros from Owners

likeFilled Tracy W.

Fun, sporty, off road, decent gas mileage, and rugged. I like the compact size and shape. It has been a quality vehicle without any major issues. Would consider buying again but they do not make them anymore.

Ride clearance for heavy snow area never leaves you stuck, passenger space is comfortable for back seat large passengers, many options available still for this kind of vehicle, flat back storage area helps with big box loading.

Cons from Owners

dislikeFilled Tracy W.

Not very comfortable for long rides. The vision out the side/back can be a negative. I have had to learn how to look out the side when backing up due to the poor vision. Paint seems to chip easy but it is 10 years old.

dislikeFilled Susan M.

Large storage area is not the easiest to pull groceries from the 'back' of storage area (closest to the front of the vehicle). Rear seating is not accessible without opening front door so kids getting in and out is not the most convenient.

Yes a very good vehicle, I bought it new and have enjoyed having it for almost 10 years, I would buy another one if they made them
Denise R.

How Reliable Is The 2010 Toyota FJ Cruiser?

Yes reliable and no major problems. Has some rust from when we. Lived up north and they had to salt the roads.
Tracy W.
It is very reliable has had very few issues. The only problem is the surface rust from living in the northeast where it snows and the salt the roads
Larry S.

Is The 2010 Toyota FJ Cruiser A Good Value?

It was around $30,000 and since it has been a reliable vehicle I would say it is a good value. The resale is good also.
Tracy W.
I paid about $25,000. I feel it has been worth every penny. Toyotas hold their value. I may buy another one someday.
